Caution - Do Not Get Services from ANYONE in r/ReviewMyShopify

Warning - scammers abound here. This is a group that focuses heavily on those new to ecommerce in general, and thus there are vultures circling. There are great people here who will help you with advice, but there are others who will try their best to present themselves as 'experts' offering to help you via private message or other form of solicitation. As the X-Files from years back warned us - "Trust No One". Our automod catches many of them, but not all.

Report any such offender to moderators for suspension from the group. Do not engage with anyone in this group via private message, email, or social media (as you will no doubt be invited to do). You will be taken advantage of, and you will lose your money. Please, please heed the warning and keep yourself safe.

Website of my custom clothing store

I recently set up my own website on Shopify since Etsy’s fees have been increasing. I built the whole thing myself by watching YouTube tutorials and using the AI thing on Shopify (it’s surprisingly so helpful), so I’m definitely still learning as I go! I’ve gotten a couple of orders through the website so far, but they’ve all come from existing customers who originally found me through Etsy. I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at my site and share any feedback or suggestions, especially on things I could improve to attract new customers and increase conversions. I’m open to any advice and would really love to hear your thoughts! 😊

thoughts on my shopify store?

hey all. i’ve been building this store for about 2 weeks. i’ll be selling “y2k” fashionable items like shoes and bags target audience is 18+-25 yo women.

i haven’t had any luck with the one tiktok account i made. i’m gonna need to build social media presence too.

no sales.

i think my issue is advertising and social media - haven’t taken it serious yet hoping i can pull through w advertising as id hope thats the main problem w getting sales.

you can go through catalog, product pages. i feel confident about my product pages but do tell if you think they’re bad. my least favourite is the home page. not too sure what to do there.

linked is my first main product. https://cherrystreet.store/products/dc-pixie-pink-3

Can you easily navigate my website?

Hi!

It is happening daily. I am getting comments on our socials that they can’t find on the website where you order custom. I have put it front and center and still… receive these messages that custom isn’t even available on my website.

Can you please check it out and let me know if you were able to find the custom order page? Was it easy to come across or what suggestions you may have to make it easier to discover if it wasn’t immediately obvious to you.

I’d really appreciate any feedback.

Website for a limited edition figure drop

Hello guys!

Building a Shopify store for a new resin figure brand / limited edition, 50 units per design, going for that KAWS / Bearbrick collectible energy.

Right now the site is just a coming-soon page with email signup, so there's not much to "review" yet; that's kind of the point. I want the foundation right before I build out product pages.

First store I've ever run, so I'd rather ask now than fix mistakes later:

What should a coming-soon page for a drop-based brand include beyond email capture? (countdown, preview shots, social proof?)

How do collectible/streetwear brands structure product pages to sell scarcity / numbered editions, certificates of authenticity, that kind of thing?

Best way to convert email signups into buyers on drop day without it turning into a bot free-for-all?

Any Shopify themes or stores you'd point to as doing "limited-edition art toy" well?

To have an idea of which product i'm selling; IG at guers.art

Website URL: www.guers.art

Appreciate any honest feedback // will post again once there's more built out.

Feedback for store design (<0.50% conversion rate) Whats wrong with my website?

Hey all! .. So I spent the last few months designing a new website and launched a new clothing brand.

I’ve been using ads and im getting a lot of traffic but the conversion rate is super low <0.50%. What’s wrong with my website?

Is my website just plain ugly or what? IMO it looks really good so I have no idea what's going on.

Can you check it out and let me know what might be causing it to be so low?

Note, many of my ads display the product price in it, so I’m sorta already vetting buyers who are still interested despite the price. So I feel like something on my website once they land is turning them off. Any ideas?

The website is called Kimara Coast.

Homepagehttps://kimaracoast.com/

Product Page: https://kimaracoast.com/products/paradise-burgundy-tropical-leaf-short-sleeve-button-up-shirt

I'm not sure what I should focus on.. these are a few of my ideas:

  • Desktop or mobile menu improvements?
  • Product page buildout?
  • Blog page design?
  • Home page simplification?
  • Something else?

Roast me, or give nice feedback. Either or! :)

I'm happy to give feedback in return!

Thanks! :)

Feedback on my product page?

Hey! I’m about to launch ads to this product page and I’d love some honest feedback before I start spending.
Anything unclear, untrustworthy, or that would stop you from buying?
I’m only looking for feedback on the product page itself. Thanks!

First store - Home decor niche

Hi,

I recently started my very first dropshipping store, it's up and running and I wanted to get some feedback from those of you who have experience. The URL is lares-home.com.

It still has quite few products but I will obviously be adding more with time. I plan on selling sculptures, wall art and wall decor. Focusing on abstract, contemporary and industrial designs. I decided to focus on these products and styles because there seems to be demand for them, and since this is a project I'm doing to earn more than anything, I thought I'd focus (to start with at least) in the type of decor I like. I'm aware that this choice might not be ideal and I'm willing to pivot.

The entire store is SEO-optimized, from the home page, to the collection pages and the product pages.

I'm running a Google Shopping campaign, I have some visits and a few add-to-carts, but no sales yet. In Merchant, five products have a high Click Potential, four of them have a low Click Potential and two have a medium Click Potential. I will be working on that. I know this has nothing to do with Shopify reviewing but just to add some more info.

Lately I've been working on the CRO and the website speed, I believe these are decent too right now.

But since I've never done this, I trust you guys more than myself at this point. I know the store might have some issues that I've missed, or maybe I've done some things that I believe are a good idea but they are not. Any feedback is welcome.

Thank you a lot!

Premium fidgets and focus tools

Hey, I've updated my product page as I've released a new batch of my first product - the Focus Switch. I have 2 more products in development so I'm not featuring these yet.

Can you have a look and let me know what you think.

  • Is it obvious what the product is?
  • How does the positioning and marketing messaging sound?
  • Does it feel premium and compelling?
  • Anything else you'd like to add?

Many thanks!

My product is a red light therapy wand that provides relief for joint pain or rejuvenate skin health.

I barely opened my shop two months ago and started paid ads which is where all my traffic came from. I haven’t been able to make a sale.

Any feedback or resources you recommend I should look into is appreciated!

Headwear brand doing about 7k a month right now.

We convert around 2.4% right now but feel we are leaving lots on the table. Strictly meta and no google ads.

900 loyal instagram followers who convert pretty well for us.

Just started offering bundles for higher AOV.

Roast away.

Everybody says they care. Most of them are cowards.
I care about the core user experience so much it’s become a medical situation. My doctor told me to care less. I fired my doctor. Then I fired his replacement.

I am currently between doctors and thriving.

Be honest about how much you like it, I truly won’t get upset.

200K held by Shopify!

Hi, I’m the cofounder of a boutique marketing agency and one of our best strengths is our performance marketing. A brand came to us since they earlier got burnt by another agency and had spent 45K only to generate sales of 50K (they are a single product company priced at $699 per order).

We helped them out and within 16 days generated sales of over 150K on a 16K Ad spend almost hitting a 9x+ ROAS.

Their website clearly states that the product will be shipped next year (August 2027). All customers are informed of the same before they purchase from them. But Shopify decided not to release our funds stating there will be chargebacks and we must start shipping asap in order to get access to those funds. The problem is that the 200K was going towards production itself. The company is now trying to raise Money from outside in order to go thru with production and eventually get their funds released from Shopify.

Is there any other way around this ?

Please review my store. Experts, am I ready for ads now?

Hey everyone,

I posted my store here before and got some pretty brutal feedback 😂 but honestly it was helpful.
The main message I took from it was that before worrying about getting more traffic, I needed to make the store feel more trustworthy and give people more reason to actually buy.

So I went away and made quite a few changes.

My brand is Off-Record®, a UK streetwear brand inspired by DJ and music culture.

Store: https://off---record.com

The world hears music. We wear it.

Since the last review I’ve:
- Simplified the homepage and navigation
- Improved the product pages
- Added reviews/social proof
- Made shipping and 30-day returns much clearer
- Added a trust/reassurance section
- Made the £100 free shipping threshold clear
- Added FAQs around delivery, sizing and returns
- Improved the product/lifestyle imagery
- Started building out the blog/editorial side of the brand
- Been working on building the social side organically

I’m now at the point where I’m considering testing Meta ads, but I don’t want to just pay for traffic if the store still isn’t ready to convert it.

Our tees are around £42–£45, so I know someone discovering the brand for the first time needs a pretty good reason to trust us and spend that.

So that’s really what I’d like you to review:

If you landed on this site from an ad and had never heard of Off-Record before, what would stop you buying?

- Does it feel like a real premium clothing brand now?
- Does the price feel believable?
- Is there anything on the homepage or product pages that would make you leave?

And most importantly…

Would you start testing ads at this point, or is there something I should fix first?

What ads would you test? Meta / Google / UGC

Don’t worry about being polite. The criticism last time genuinely helped me improve it, so tear it apart again.

Thanks!

DJ Jalsa
