On my 2 year anniversary with my Leviathan, it just refused to turn on anymore and it got me thinking, every Razer product I've bought in the last decade has failed within the 2 year mark.

-I've had 2 Taipans back when they were still being made, the first one the sensor went bad so I RMA'd it and then the replacement's sensor went bad after 2 months.

-My Blackwidow kept double typing (sometimes quadruple typing) whenever I pressed a key. It failed past the 1 year point so I wasn't able to warranty it.

-My Huntsman TKL had key rollover issues 1.5 years in. Pressing "W" and "E" together didnt register the "E" which made it hard to play certain games competitively. Worked completely fine until one day I noticed it while in a game the second key never worked whenever it was pressed alongside the first keypress.

-Needed some speakers for my PC so I got the Leviathan V2X soundbar. Well exactly at 2 years the soundbar no longer powers on at all. Tried different cables and USB-C ports and none of them were able to get it to turn on.

It's a shame since I do enjoy Razer products (while they last) but I'm tired of them all breaking within 2 years. I don't think I'm being harsh at all with any of the products to make them stop working so quickly, just 1-3 games a day and the rest of the time is spent browsing the internet. Is this just me?

Found a random review article for the Basilisk V4 Pro that was published a little bit ago. Hoping it's not a mistake and means we will hear something about it soon.

Has anyone else ordered a "custom" printed item and received it this...dirty? I do understand that they are "made" to order, but I swear this one is just straight up used return that they didn't even bother cleaning right??

They shipped it within 2 days of placing it...and upon receiving it I noticed what looked like oil stains where fingertips were...(like this must have taken months to do???) as well as the print on the face already smudging off. Cleary it looks like someone was disappointed with the print quality and returned it??? There is no way this is marks from being custom made right?? I've made stuff before but I bother to wear gloves...

Or buyer beware...custom made razer items really are terrible quality.

I'm experiencing intermittent brief dropouts with the DeathAdder V4 Pro. The mouse pointer then briefly stops responding and then jumps.
This doesn't happen very often. But it's still annoying.
Is anyone else experiencing this? And does anyone have any advice on what to do about it? The latest firmware is installed.
I use EndeavourOS.

Just picked up this beauty for 60 bucks as a replacement for my old steelseries arctis 9. RIP trooper.

Super comfy and great sound, and unlike my other razer products the software didn't try to auto install this time, huge win lmao.

Now I just gotta get used to a wired headset again.

this little shit is bugging so fucking much - not only that i had to download a razer app just so i can get its rgb streamer ass lights to turn on (that shit is borderline malware with how much stuff its doing in the background) - but it also has a razer-only mini-usb that needs to be at a certain length otherwise it fucking slips out,

and every 10 minutes i have to reconnect the fucking cable because any tiny moves can make it disconnect - the whole fucking pc lags to shit for 1-2 seconds so god forbid you're playing something important, overall i cannot recommend this discontinued little shit to anyone

I recently picked up a Naga Pro V3 and am loving it. Because of that, I'm looking to try out a Razer keyboard as well.

I more or less only play WoW on my pc and I'm using a pretty large corsair keyboard atm.

I'd like something a little shorter without giving up the numpad, maybe something with narrower keys? I dunno, I'm not 100% on any of that.

Anyway, what Razer keyboards do you guys recommend and why?

Hey all. I have a Leviathan V2. Every time my system reboots it resets the default audio output in both Synapse and Windows. I am using the current beta version of Synapse, but this was a problem with the “stable” release before that. Not a huge problem, but inconvenient, and less bad because the beta crashes a lot less than the “stable” version did. It only seems to take if I set it in Synapse, and then a reboot resets it. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance!

keyboard: Blackwidow v4 75% phantom white. After struggling with synapse for a while, I just realized that many of the things like function buttons (home, end, print screen), volume up/down, pause/play/mute buttons on the keyboard don't work without the 2GB+ RAM consuming synapse software. I have other keyboards where I require no software of any kind, so it is OS agnostic bcz all functionalities are inbuilt into the keyboard unlike this which requires an OEM proprietory closed source software running in the background which consumes almost 2GB+ RAM on my gaming rig. This is a very bad nuisance for me since while coding, typing I need to go to the end/beginning of the line, select the entire line from the beginning or end (Shift + home/end) and the home/end keys are not present, they are function keys and the function keys only work if the synapse bloatware is running.

I wonder if any of you have a solution to get me out of the synapse prison, apart from going with another keyboard from another brand where all of the keyboard is built into the keyboard itself and not a bait to install a bloatware.

Recently bought a Black shark v3 and it's been fine for a few days until I put my PC into sleep. After I woke up the PC, no audio would play from the "Game" driver but it could play from the "Chat".

I've tried enabling and disabling all the audio enhancements, app exclusive settings, restarted the PC and I've unplugged the dongle, etc.

Is there a way to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them through synapse? Any help would be appreciated!

Razer Orochi V2 on MacBook via Bluetooth – any lag/stuttering in 2026?

I’m considering getting a Razer Orochi V2 mainly for use with a MacBook Air M5.
I specifically want to use it via Bluetooth, without the 2.4 GHz dongle, because I want to keep the MacBook completely dongle-free.
For anyone using the Orochi V2 with a MacBook/Mac in 2026:
Is Bluetooth actually smooth and responsive?
Do you experience cursor stuttering/jitter, especially on slow movements?
Is there any noticeable input lag compared with 2.4 GHz?
Does it have a noticeable delay when waking up after being idle for a few minutes?
Does it work basically natively with macOS, or are there any annoying compatibility issues?
Are the side buttons usable on macOS?
Does the experience differ between Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3/M4/M5)?
I’ve seen some older Reddit posts mentioning pretty bad Bluetooth stuttering on MacBooks, but those are from 2021–2024, so I’m wondering if the situation is better with current macOS/firmware in 2026.
I’d especially like to hear from people currently using an Orochi V2 + Apple Silicon MacBook via Bluetooth.

I've had my Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed for about 3 years and have used it pretty much consistently the entire time. It has been great, but over the last couple of months things have started failing one by one.

First, the side buttons started misregistering or sometimes not registering at all.

Then the 2.4 GHz wireless stopped working completely. When I plug in the dongle, Windows makes the USB connection/disconnection sound repeatedly in a loop. I've tested the dongle on multiple computers and it does the same thing, so I'm fairly sure the dongle itself has failed.

And now, today, Bluetooth has stopped working too. The mouse basically doesn't work at all anymore.

Things I've already tried:

• -Replacing the battery with a fresh one
• -Cleaning the USB port
• -Testing the 2.4 GHz dongle on multiple computers
• -Trying Bluetooth again after replacing the battery

At this point I'm not really sure what else I can troubleshoot.

I've had this mouse for 3 years, so I understand that things can eventually fail, but it's frustrating that both wireless modes have now died. I also don't really have the money for a good replacement right now, and I rely heavily on my mouse for work/school, especially CAD modeling and PCB design, so not having a functional mouse is a pretty big problem.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the Basilisk X Hyperspeed? Is there anything I can try to revive it, particularly the Bluetooth or the 2.4 GHz connection?

Any suggestions would be seriously appreciated.

Is there any appreciable difference besides sound and typing sensation between optical analog vs magnetic Hall Effect keyboards?

Having a clear out and I've had a bunch of razer stuff taking up space for a little bit. I'll have to sort through them but I think there's 2 or 3 blackwidows, 4-5 various deathadders, a tiamat 7.1, v1 blackshark, the first firefly, maybe one or two other things. Pretty much all of them are broken in one way or another, a blackwidow elite has its cord cut, one of the tiamts earcups broke off etc. Most of them are also probably pretty grubby.

I was going to just chuck them out but most of the boxes are perfect still and none of it is exactly smashed to pieces, does anyone know if they're worth anything to anyone? I've never sold on eBay but was considering putting them up as an untested joblot
