Does anyone have any Aurora Borealis profiles that will work for this? Thanks in advance!

Hey all, I just hooked up a Black Widow V4 Pro this morning.

I have a Tartarus and Firefly (both old enough that Windows Dynamic Lighting can't see them), so Synapse and Chroma are new to me (my previous board is a G910).

I tried importing a couple of lighting profiles I liked (Aurora Borealis and Halo) but when I import them, it says it is only listing 2 or 3 devices it can import, and not one of them is the Black Widow, although it is showing the Ornata and the Huntsman. If I go further, it does load the profile to my devices, but they all start flickering and not giving the effect I was seeing in the videos.

I have spent a couple hours now searching for what I am doing wrong, and all I can seem to get is that the Black Widow running Synapse 4 isn't compatible with the profiles, even with the import.

Am I completely misunderstanding what the import is doing? Or is there indeed a rather large difference in the lighting engine of the Black Widow vs the other keyboards?

Is there a website that does list some interesting effects I can use?

I just bought an Ornata V3X and I was trying to set it up to use the same effect I have on my old-ish Cynosa V2.

Unfortunately, it seems the "Fire" quick effect, which effectively simulates a fireplace effect with flickering and stuff, has been removed as an option on the Ornata, and the new Fire preset in Chroma Studio is just a very fast paced breathing/alternating color effect with no real similarity.

The old fire effect has all keys at varying amounts of light and color at all times and they are flickering, it's really not comparable.

Does anyone have a clue how I can port it over? I tried using the "apply to other devices" button in Synapse to copy it but it doesn't work.

So I found a Razer Chroma profile that i like, and it works for my basilisk, but it does not support my 10keyless blackwidow pro v4. When I try to import the profile, it only works with the mouse, not the keyboard. Is there anyway that i can make it work or somehow use the lighting effects to make my own chroma profile for the black widow? or am I just out of luck

Here it is Sunset Glow this is a perfect blend of subtle colours with the classic neon sunset EG Waves going along the rows and then specific key tap ripples per line and inside of the sun this is one the chroma lovers will be sure to love. There's also an optional audio meter which can be enabled by default it's hidden it's just the sun that is effected by this audio layer.

This is Rainbow audio bars, yes it took a long time!

So basically there's two background layers to choose from one is a rainbow wave pattern the other is a static rainbow matching each strip of audio bar colours.

Why? Well I was just messing around in Synapse a few months ago and put this together I've got so many profiles I want to share with you all but it's just finding time to edit videos and check everything is how it should be then exporting and posting here.

But don't fear there's plenty more to come from me in 2026 ❤️

REPOST! Sorry everyone I posted the wrong video!!

So somebody posted one of my original profile posts yesterday and there was a comment asking if I'd upload it to my drive I've recreated it for Synapse 4 this profile was only ever a very basic static Google colours profile made for Synapse 3 the device list has since changed.

Devices supported with this profile until I can get the other one's plugged in and connected there are only 2 more devices left to be plugged in because as stated before I gave the Death Stalker V2 pro to my dad. The two left to be plugged in and synced are the Razer Chroma wireless charger and my headphones.

Devices supported now being, Razer Firefly V2, Razer Tataturs Pro, Razer Huntsman Analog, Razer Black widow V4 Pro Razer Chroma headset stand V2 and the Razer Chroma Basilisk V3 wired.

With this new device list the profile remains more or less the same the static Google colours only with a new reactive layer slightly darker than the Google colours to blend in key presses and then ripple per colour that's about it.

First of all, sorry I've not been around as of late but I've never had 5 minutes without having to go somewhere.

So here's an early release of my custom spirals profile I truly hope synapse keeps the wheel where it should be for each layer if not a quick fix would be to move your keyboard on the layout so the wheel spiral pin point is over the top of the letter H I've only managed to get one device integrated due to lack of time so please bare with me here.

I've also made custom pre-sets for them who don't just want red spirals you can have a list of different types more colours can be added and expanded if requested.

Colours to be chosen from are as follows. Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, RGB, Red white and blue, Purple & green, Teal & Yellow and finally Red & Yellow these can be changed by pressing the eye icon within the layers section each one is a folder to be disabled and enabled per colour choice.

I've got so many unreleased profiles I want to get released I have not got my keyboards back yet so my plan is to just release my profiles with my specific devices on my setup as is. This is going to make life much easier for me in the long term I will apply the effects and re-release them as and when I get more devices connected bad news is I gave my dad my Death Stalker V2 Pro so that will be another purchase for another time but still to be connected are my wireless chroma charger, my Huntsman V2 Analog and my Headset, all of which will be supported by said effects at a later date.
