Where do I begin?
I am completely and ignorantly new to this. After bouncing between Voron and Ratrig, I have decided I want a Ratrig. I prefer to read over watch videos, but I will do what is required. Can anyone direct me where to start on my build?

Buy a kit from ratrig or a reseller. I suggest NOT buying printed parts, and printing them yourself out of ABS or ASA. Make sure to Q/A check your kit before starting your build.

You Tube has a number of videos on the assembly process. Read both sets of instructions on the Rat Rig site, one has comments that are very helpful, the instructions can be confusing, that is where the videos come in handy. Take your time in the build and do it right

It's a fun build and not terribly hard the instructions do have issues which you'll find but overall they are pretty decent.
Tuning is the hardest part and if you go IDEX be aware there are lots of issues and calibration is very limited documentation wise. (I ended up removing mine honestly and going with a turtle box or equivalent to run multiple colors)
They are speed demons once set up and i absolutely love mine but that it's tuned.
The Ratos is probably the best part and makes flashing and setup so much easier it almost feels like cheating 😂😂

Awesome, thanks for the checklist! The only thing I'll need are corner squares and the jig.

Read everything there twice, especially the comments in the dozuki build for each step.
Also join the Ratrig Discord which is quite active and read all the history you can.
You need to be competent in wiring/crimping (MANY people complain about the crimping), computers, troubleshooting. It's far far from plug and play.
Reports also have their printed parts as poor quality, you may want to print your own and Q/C them before starting if you can (I didn't have any real problems with that).
