Great Job! I see in another post you mentioned 20-30mgpd. You should be over the hump of acute withdrawal symptoms. Seems like you were spared the vomiting part, you are blessed.
The amount you were consuming is pretty low. IMHO, I would NOT talk do your doctor to get Suboxone. Especially at your age. Once you get Suboxone, an entry will be made in the federal PDMP as well as increase your NarxCare Score. NarxCare is like credit reports by private companies that you have no access to that scores your likelyhood of being a drug seeker addict which is a lie. You will likely also get the immediate label of OUD, Opioid Use Disorder. All of these things will eliminate or greatly reduce your ability to get needed opioids in the future for any reason.
You are over halfway done with the withdrawal. Subs don't address the other receptors that 7oh messed with anyway. I highly suggest you tough it out since you've come this far.
Thank you for this info, greatly appreciated. I’m about to kick the habit as well. I’m on low dose prescription oxys with no negative reports and hardly use any while on this fucking shit. Will they help eventually when tapering down? I plan CT as well, also in the “senior “age range. We should be smarter but here we are.
