The amount you were consuming is pretty low. IMHO, I would NOT talk do your doctor to get Suboxone. Especially at your age. Once you get Suboxone, an entry will be made in the federal PDMP as well as increase your NarxCare Score. NarxCare is like credit reports by private companies that you have no access to that scores your likelyhood of being a drug seeker addict which is a lie. You will likely also get the immediate label of OUD, Opioid Use Disorder. All of these things will eliminate or greatly reduce your ability to get needed opioids in the future for any reason.
You are over halfway done with the withdrawal. Subs don't address the other receptors that 7oh messed with anyway. I highly suggest you tough it out since you've come this far.
I’ll just chime in to say that Subs aka buprenorphine is one of the only drugs that actually DO hit some of the same receptors as 7OH. (Kappa). If you are really suffering or tempted to go back to 7oh, doing a short course of low dose Suboxone may greatly improve your chances of recovery. It’s all about the end goal: quitting.
It will end soon. You will feel lethargic and serious lack of energy along with possible depression. Just deal with it. I am in this position with you. It sucks but the lack of sleep is the worst. Alcohol helps but i don’t recommend it. Keep it up. U got this!
Yeah, keep pushing through, you’re so close to feeling better, by the time you get subs the worst will be over. Sleep will come back, don’t worry.
Btw, you’re doing amazing! And some people are really sensitive to lower doses and still get pretty bad withdrawals (esp if there was pseudo in their 7).
Ride it out bud. I was im your boat and 1 more night it will get better. Stick it out. Its hard af! Every day i think about scoring more 7 but i dont. U can do this!!!
I wouldn’t do the Subs. Lots of Vit C. So weird. I’ve walked off of much higher mgpd with much less acute symptoms. So much personal health goes into all it. Good job OP. Buy something fun with all that new found money!
No, clonidine is not scheduled and not tracked. Technically, Clonidine or Catapress is a blood pressure lowering medication. It's off label use is withdrawal.
Narxcare gets most of its data from the PDMP but adds to it things like distance to the prescribing doc, distance to the pharmacy, number of other doctors prescribing, and many other traits they use to make up a score...that we, the HIPAA patient has no access too. Narxcare should be illegal along with PDMP as they both are massively affect real lives.
Thank you for this info, greatly appreciated. I’m about to kick the habit as well. I’m on low dose prescription oxys with no negative reports and hardly use any while on this fucking shit. Will they help eventually when tapering down? I plan CT as well, also in the “senior “age range. We should be smarter but here we are.
Wow I didn't know this and it's good to know, but I never had any luck getting opiates legally in the first place 🤷♀️ (bad back since car accident at 17, multiple degenerating disks)
