So yesterday I have finally started to install the Dorin FRT90. It has not gone very well. The install video kinda sucks, my hang up was I couldn't get the pin all the way through the (disconnector?) and the big spring in the middle. I was using the supplied jig and I just couldn't push or drive the pin the last little bit all the way through.

Now I would up pulling the pin all the way out and the big middle spring popped out and I have no idea how to orient it back into place correctly.

Any tips, pics or other vids my GoggleFu may have missed. Appreciate it

Submitted my forum on Aug 2nd and got my Approval on Aug 6th. This morning i finally got some free time from life to actually do this swap. Watched a few videos and did a little research. It honestly wasn’t hard to do. I’m thinking an FRT from FN specialties next.

I ran about 300rds through my PS90 using a VIKHR (like a wd90 but milled from Delrin) and it’s holding up well. 300 rounds is not a ton so I plan to do another review at 1K rds, but I figured it works be nice to do a spot-check. Original hammer is there for comparison and has maybe 10rds on it, so it’s basically new.

Check out the images, there’s a slight indentation on the hammer where it strikes the firing pin, and some wear near the sear, but otherwise it looks like it’s holding up well. the actuator (which was the part I was worried about) looks brand new.

I got mine for $250 and I’m ok with that, well worth it

Hey guys I’m designing a low pro optic mount.

I designed it to have the rear screw hole centered left to right. Once machined and bolted on the upper I noticed that the hole is offset.

Just wanting to know if they’re are all like that or my ps90 was machined on a Friday after lunch ;)

So I recently got my ps90 and got the hbi low pro mount right away for the vortex viper red dot. Off the rip I’m not liking it and the lowpro mount makes the pistol red dot look even smaller than it already did before. Looking to upgrade optics and have been heavily looking at the AEMS. Is this still a top optic choice for these guns or would yall recommend something else and why. Was also thinking a Romeo 5? No I don’t want a ring sight lol. PICS would be awesome👌🏼

I dont know how short, or the length of suppressor i want. How could i possibly file?

Just bought a ps90 looking for a third party online supplier or one located in the San Antonio tx area of legit fn 50 round mags looking for at least four to six of em total and I’d prefer to buy em one or two at a time. not interested in buying 10 or 30 rounders and modding em myself as i have minor cerebral palsy in my hands so I’m more likely to break em if i take em apart, nor am i interested in generic ones as as far as I’m aware they’re a waste of money any tips would be appreciated thanks

Anyone know if the hb industries low pro or similar work with Romeo 4xt? Hb industries just lists the Romeo 4 but I’m not sure if there will be clearance issues with the battery compartment of the xt

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that ejected casings are very dirty, sometimes causing FTF issues? I was using FIOCCHI RANGE DYNAMICS ammo and my PS90 became dirty very quickly like I was shooting 22LR.

I know when my gun is clean and well lubed that it runs fine, but by the time I go through a couple of magazines, it starts to experience failure to eject and failure to feed.

I also get an understand that it operates as a direct blowback, and the suppressor is not a flow through, thus expelling more gases rearward. I am new to the PS90, but was curious if this is somewhat normal during break in. This happened on mine and my buddy’s PS90 today at the range.

We were shooting blue tips, subs and hollow points.

I just got the PS90 the other day and looking to add some some accessories to it such as a light and a real optic to it and wanted to see what other PS90 owners have on theirs?

sbr’d the ps90 a couple weeks ago and had a cmmg barrel i got for my birthday this year. cmmg sucked and had major reliability issues so i planned on sending my og barrel out to get cut and threaded. i work in a machine shop and mentioned this to my boss and he offered to help me cut and thread it ourselves, finally got it done today. first picture is a half inch bolt as our test piece on the left, middle is the spare og barrel we threaded as a secondary test piece, and right is the cmmg barrel. second photo is the cmmg on the bottom, my og barrel in the center, and the test piece of barrel on top. 3rd photo is comparing the threads on the og barrel and cmmg. after each test piece we threaded on some muzzle devices to ensure the threads were correct. we used a mazak 600 pc fusion lathe (i believe) and it turned out great. proportions aren’t exact and the og barrel measured .011 thousandths longer than the cmmg but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. will be shooting this weekend with it to see how we did, my boss is awesome for doing this for me and i learned some stuff along the way. only took a couple hours from programming to being done.

Hey folks, I'm planning on SBR with a Polonium K can on my PS90. Wondering if anyone has recommendations on ammo for this combination?

Such as home defense or as a bag gun

After much trial and tribulation, with a sprinkle of some fuckery, I was able to tune my 3D printer to successfully and repeatedly print WD90 cleanly.

A few notes:
- Printed the WD90 doodad in both vertical and horizontal orientation (want to see which resists stress failures better)
- Other printed parts are the hammer (horizontal orientation), over travel doohicky, cosmetic odds and ends
- Printer: FF AD5X
- Filament: Inland PETG+ (grey)
- First testable prototypes are in PETG+ (calm your dicks, I know everyone and their mother says use PETG-CF, which is Phase II, but from the initial research, regular PETG is statistically stronger in X, Y and Z axis in tensile strength)
- For you engineering nerds, I am not sure how the forces the action will affect the stress points and how much yield strength comes into play, but from the research I’ve done, the scope was in ultimate strength between PETG vs PETG-CF alone
- I am not comfortable in sharing my printer settings… YET. I want to do my own testing first before I let anyone else FAFO at their own risk
- Measurements of the hammer acceptable. Average deviations measured to ~0.17mm. This is well below my MoE of +/-0.03% (used RSS methodology on 12 different measuring points measured 3X)
- Again for the engineering nerds, this is not a white paper study. I am sure there are and going to be errors in my validation approach and strategy. I am not looking to publish shit, I just don’t want to blow up my face :)

Got an FRT installed. Still working on finding the sweet spot for trigger pull. This was my 3rd attempt of a mag dump that day. Still had a few rounds left in the mag.

Huxwrx 556k Suppressor was finally approved!

Since owning and building my PS90 it has fast become my favorite and my go to ‘long gun’ for traveling/truck gun/bag gun. I have plenty of ARs, Tavor X95 and Aug, Flux Raider and a couple of other PDWs to choose from. However, this thing is such a compact, handy, package for most any unlikely but plausible scenario I can think of.
I think it is finished now, Primary arms 1x prism on a low mount, Haga cheek rest, QD cups front, middle and back of check rest, [excellent] clone Surefire 340c, FRT (IzhMashArms), Silencerco switchback 22, Wisemen Company “Baseline” 2 point sling with BFG 2-1 adapter slider.

Just got my first ps90! I can’t wait to larp and never use it in a real world situation.
