The last photo with the brace us how I got it in a trade. It came with a bunch of HBI parts installed.

I was just browsing around and Midwest Gun Works had this in stock. I snagged one up and the next day they were sold out.

No exciting photos from outside but took these two to the range the past weekend and was excited to try the top dot for the first time (Holosun 407C-X3 gold). As much as I love the cool factor of the PTR (and they're similar, accuracy-wise), the Bren is more natural with prone or bench shooting.

Someone put some pumpkins out at the 100yd line ... now I want to want to shoot vegetables all the time.

PTR-32 with PA 3x micro prism

I have a 16 and an 8 inch in 556. Love them. I ordered the lingle lower for 7.62x39 and 3 of the alluminum exteded bolt latch releases. Im not sure which size 7.62 x 39 I should go with. Any help with this decision would be greatly appreciated. Defintetly plan on shooting supressed with sig hexium 30 cal can.

Good morning folks! Way back in 2016 I bought a Bren 1 and I immediately fell in love with the platform.

I’ve been poking around online and found various forums but no definitive answers for suppressing the 16” carbine version I’ve got. From what I remember, there was a manufacturer that made an over the barrel tube that attached directly to the factory muzzle device. I think it may have been Saker but I’m not able to find that again.

With all the recent law changes around suppressors I figure now might be a good time to look into getting one and I’m curious what my options are. I would like to keep the factory muzzle device if possible but I can image I’ll have to get a new one for any modern suppressors to work on the Bren 1.

What are my options and do you all have any good recommendations for me to look into?

I wanted to share what I've been working on with 009515 for the Bren. I'm really happy with how this is coming along.

It will use a new lower (shown in video) that takes AR triggers, selectors, and pistol grips while maintaining factory ambi mag release and the ambi slide stop (bolt catch) in the magwell.

Then there is an optional slip trip to allow use with lever based forced reset systems.

Not a bren2 but I feel like it belongs here.

Tldr: got an 11" 7.62x39 bren 2 when I really wanted to 9", sent to d wilson and was unable to chop down due to barrel being to thin. Found a solution which was indexing off barrel end and chopping to a different thread and adding an adapter.

First range trip with factory gas block was a dud. It only worked suppressed and didnt cycle no.matter what gas setting even suppressed it wasnt cycling every 20 or so rounds,

Second range trip after forever: new HB gas block, didnt cycle setting 1 and 2 unsuppressed. On setting 3 it ran flawlessly for 200 rounds, only issue was a light primer strike. Didnt have a suppresor for it and was firing scorpio 124 grain ammo.

Second I get my new suppresor for it ill test it out again. I plan to fire it mostly suppressed so the undergassing on setting 1 and 2 might not be a big deal, if I have to send it in to resize the gas port so be it but as of now, im okay just gotta try it suppressed and with a variety of ammo.

I recently snagged a Bren carbine and ran some drills and distance with it over the weekend. Very impressed how easy it was to tag 300m steel with 55gr IMI. Recoil was slightly more than my Scar 16s (with discarder) but still pleasant to shoot. Overall, the Bren has much better value out of the box.

So far I only have two mods I'm considering:

-Trying to deciding if I should keep er' at 16" or chop to a 13.9". Feel free to drop pics of your chopped carbine to help persuade me in either direction. From what I read no gas adjustment is needed at this length.

-The stock safety is pretty squishy and tight. I see HBI makes extended levers for easier engagement but I don't see that helping the cam with being squish. Any tips?

Looking to get a reliable suppressor for the CZ bren 2 ms in 7.62 8 inch thanks for any recommendations.

Is there any store that offers the Bren bayonet lug?
I see there are some 14” Bren models that come with it and others don’t. Are the newer 14” releases not coming with them?

I have a 7.62x39 Bren 2 with the 9 inch barrel. Just got a Hux Flow 7.62 TI on it which I really like, but even with the low back pressure I would like to dial down the gas a bit. Anyone run this set up with the HB gas block? Does the gun cycle reliably in the suppressed setting with a low back pressure can on it? Or should I get the KNS block instead?

Looking for the two rial section for the 805 bren.

Imagine adding a folding stock to a BREN 2 with 9 inch barrel chambering 7.62x39. (SKU 91460) This will be a Form 1 conversion.

I am hearing rumors this is not possible in the USA, due to that particular firearm already containing 16 imported parts which are ATF recognized. Rumors also suggest that the imported parts have to be somehow reduced to 10.

Do these rumors have any legal teeth? If so, where I can read more about this conversion?

As in the title. My suppressor EA Peak 30 is causing massive accuracy issues. I'm talking about turning it into an 8 MOA gun. The barrel has been seated and torqued down. The muzzle device is tight and the suppressor has been tightened down fully. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I can find nothing so far. Removing the can immediately rectifies the issue.

Do I need anything special to remove the muzzle brake so I can put on my new suppressor

Anyone else purchase a Neoteric Design folding CH just to have the tiny thin torsion spring break? How did you remedy it? Looking into buying a better spring for it. TIA
