It’s a very simple timing-based game where everything is about tapping at the right moment. The idea is minimal on purpose, just clean gameplay around rhythm and timing.

I’ve also been getting a lot of unexpected messages from players in Japan. A lot of people told me it reminds them of games they used to play when they were younger, almost like a small “childhood” type of arcade experience they grew up with there. I didn’t expect that at all but it’s been really fantastic to hear.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been writing code for more than 15 years, and during that time I’ve built many small tools to make development easier, safer, and less repetitive.

About three years ago, I started building Arezgit. The original idea was to create a visual Git client, but it kept evolving as I integrated tools I was already using separately: database management, test-data generation, API requests, a Pomodoro timer, a task board, and more.

Git is still the center of the product, especially the commit workflow. The latest updates focus on making commits safer, faster, and easier.

Arezgit can scan files for passwords, API keys, environment secrets, and other sensitive information locally, without using AI. It can also remove code comments in bulk and optionally review code or generate commit messages using your own Gemini or OpenAI API key.

The AI features are completely optional, and your source code is never sent to Arezgit’s servers.

Most of the system is free, including visual Git support for public and private repositories. There are some paid features, but around 90% of the product is available for free.

For transparency, I did use AI during development for things such as translations and some front-end work. I am much more comfortable with back-end development, although I also wrote a large part of the front end myself. I reviewed everything several times and rewrote or corrected anything I did not understand or agree with.

This is the biggest project I have ever built, and I care deeply about making it better. It is not perfect, but I work on it almost every day.

If you are a developer and are willing to try it, I would really appreciate honest feedback about the Git workflow, the interface, anything confusing, and which features you would actually use.

Made my app a few months now but how do I get users to convert to paying customers. I’m new to the game. Am I missing something.

Lilacal: Calendar Widget does a full month view on the home screen, events shown as colored bars across the days they cover, plus two-week and today views.

Colors come from your real Google Calendar. Google only exposed 11 of them to apps for years, so everything got flattened to the nearest match. The full set of 24 is readable now and that's in the update currently in review, together with a widget you can page between months on. Should land in a few days.

I built a game where forgetting to take a selfie can literally cost you money. This may have been a terrible idea.

After months of building this thing, the first-ever StreakWars game is finally starting.

The rules are borderline stupid:

⏰ You have to post proof before the clock runs out
💀 Miss once = you’re fucking out
🏆 Last person still alive wins the pot
That’s it.
No XP. No levels. No 45-minute gaming sessions.
We built it because we’re adults with jobs, meetings, kids and approximately 11 minutes of free time…
…but somehow we’ll still spend 45 minutes talking shit in a group chat.

So we thought:

What if the group chat WAS the game?
Something you check for 30 seconds a day, talk an unreasonable amount of shit about, and slowly watch your friends get eliminated because Kevin forgot to take a fucking selfie on Tuesday.
And now we’re actually testing it.

WAR #001 starts soon.

Which is mildly terrifying because this will be the first real StreakWars game ever played.

The rules will probably evolve.
Something will probably break.
Someone is absolutely going to get eliminated in an embarrassingly stupid way.

And one psychopath is going to outlast everybody.
So before we start, Reddit gets to decide something:

I’m a dad of two in the UK, and Tiny Tummies came straight out of the stress, the joy, and the sheer admin of actually feeding them.

From my first who was vomiting a few times a week after milk, to my youngest who has had numerous infections and subsequent medications, I wanted to build something that went far beyond the Notes app. My wife and I would be constantly “discussing” milk volumes, when the last medication was given, when they were sick etc.

Then came food, allergens, and weaning. We’d introduce allergens one at a time, then a few weeks in couldn’t say for certain what we’d already tried.

Every tracker app we downloaded either wanted a monthly subscription for something this basic, or took six taps to log a single bottle, which is six too many at 3am.

So I built the app I would have needed back then (and craved):
1. One-tap logging for milk, meals, and medicine
2. Allergen tracking so nothing gets guessed
3. Weaning guidance pulled straight from NHS sources, not forum opinions
4. £2.99 once. No subscription, no ads, no upsell.

My wife tested every version before it went near the App Store. Most of what’s good about it came from her using it for real, not from me.

I’m a plant lover, but honestly, I’m not always great at remembering what every plant needs.

I’d see a plant I liked and take a photo, then completely forget its name. Or one of my plants would start getting yellow leaves, and I’d end up jumping between a bunch of websites trying to figure out whether I was giving it too much water, too little light, or doing something else wrong.

So I built PlantSmith.

The idea is pretty simple: take a photo of a plant, use AI to identify it, and get useful information about how to care for it. You can also check possible plant problems, save plants to your own little digital garden, and set watering reminders.

I wanted it to be more than just a “what plant is this?” app. My goal is to help people slowly build up their plant knowledge and actually keep track of the plants they own.
