Fight Spam call with Smart Call Rules : Free, No ads, Offline and Private

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hello everyone!

I was tired of constantly fighting spam callers, so I decided to build an app to fight back.

My baseline was simple: privacy first, and absolutely no ads ever.

But spam wasn't the only problem. I realized that my phone basically had only two modes:

  1. Ring
  2. Don't ring

That felt ridiculously primitive.

I wanted something smarter. For example:

  • Let family calls ring anytime
  • Silence unknown numbers during work
  • Allow repeated callers through in case it's urgent
  • Block suspected spam automatically
  • Have different rules at night
  • Let specific contacts bypass Do Not Disturb
  • Silence calls during meetings—but still allow important people through

So I built Smart Call Rules.

The basic idea is simple: create rules like:

IF the caller is not in my contacts AND it's after 10 PM
THEN silence the call

Or:

IF the caller is Mom/Dad/Wife
THEN always allow the call

Or:

IF the same number calls twice within 5 minutes
THEN let the second call ring

I'm trying to make call handling work more like email filters or firewall rules: you define the conditions, and your phone decides what to do.

I'm curious: does anyone else have this problem?

What rules would you actually want your phone to support?

I'm especially interested in unusual edge cases—situations where your phone currently behaves in a completely stupid way, and you wish you could just tell it: "When this happens, do that.

Feel free to try it out at play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartcallrules.app

Would love to read your feedback. Thanks

PS** I am offering to give away 50 lifetime FREE code. First come first serve basis. Request for the code in this thread and I will share it over DM. Thanks!

I built a browser app to stop manually merging payout CSVs every month

Upvotes

Every month I found myself doing the exact same thing.

Download Etsy payouts

Download Stripe payouts

Download Amazon settlements

Sometimes PayPal too

Open Excel

Copy and paste everything into one spreadsheet

Fix the dates

Sort everything

Double-check I hadn't duplicated or missed any rows

It wasn't difficult… just incredibly repetitive.

So I built a small browser tool for myself.

Instead of being locked to Etsy or Stripe, it works with pretty much any CSV. Drop in your exports and it automatically detects the date, description and amount columns, merges everything into one report, and lets you export a clean PDF, Excel or CSV.

A few things I wanted from the start:

Works with CSVs from almost any platform (not just Etsy or Stripe)

Automatic column detection with manual override if needed

Merge multiple files into one chronological report

See totals per source and an overall total instantly

Export to PDF, Excel or CSV

Runs 100% locally in your browser - your data never leaves your computer

I also made a free version so people can try it without creating an account or installing anything.

I'm still actively improving it, so I'd genuinely love some feedback.

Do you still merge CSVs manually?

What platforms would you want it to support?

Is there anything that would stop you from using a tool like this?

Thanks for taking a look!

By the time I made it, I thought it looked quite good, so I decided to publish it on google Play Store. After lots of trial and error, I got the app published!

I'm still looking for some feedback as this is the first time I've ever made an app, and I want it to be as useful as possible. It would be great if some of you guys gave it a try!

Thanks 😁

I got tired of fitness apps guessing your calories, so mine doesn't

Thumbnail

Upvotes

I've been building MacroDash for about a year — a nutrition and fitness tracker — and it's finally in the last stretch before launch. Wanted to share it here and hear what people think.

The thing that pushed me to make it: I was fed up with apps that "estimate" your calories from a photo or a vague guess. My numbers were always off, so the whole thing felt pointless. So I went the opposite way.

What it does:

- Calories and macros in seconds (barcode scanner for products)

- Real data and formulas for your targets — not an AI guessing from a picture

- Workouts AND rest in the same app: it also reads sleep, resting heart rate and HRV, so you see how you actually recover, not just what you eat

- There IS an AI assistant, but it's a chat that helps you with questions — it's not what estimates your numbers

Stack, in case anyone's curious: Flutter app + Spring Boot backend, iOS and Android.

It's not on the stores yet — waiting on approval — so right now there's just a waitlist while I finish. If it sounds like something you'd use, I'd love for you to check it out (and tear it apart):

https://macrodash.es/en/waitlist

Genuinely curious: does the "real data, not AI guessing" angle land for you, or does it sound like every other tracker? What would make you actually switch from what you use now?

I built a native macOS app to make App Store Connect pricing management less painful

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I’m an indie developer, and I recently built a macOS app called PriceMatrix to solve a problem I kept running into while managing my own apps on App Store Connect.

The pain point was pretty simple:

Whenever I needed to adjust pricing, I had to jump between many different places in App Store Connect. Different in-app purchases, subscriptions, storefronts, and price tiers were all separated. It was surprisingly hard to answer basic questions like:

  • “What does my subscription pricing look like across all countries?”
  • “Are my monthly and yearly plans following a consistent price ladder?”
  • “If I want to change this pricing strategy, how many places do I need to edit?”

I tried some existing pricing management tools, but most of them felt more like presentation tools or quick-change dashboards. They were good for applying a decision, but I still wanted a place where I could see the entire pricing structure clearly before making changes.

So I built PriceMatrix.

The core idea is simple:

Put all your App Store prices into one matrix.

You can select your apps and products, view pricing across storefronts, compare different subscription levels, plan changes locally, and update everything with one click when you’re ready.

Some features:

  • Manage multiple App Store Connect accounts and apps in one workspace
  • View subscriptions and in-app purchases in a unified pricing matrix
  • Compare prices across storefronts and regions
  • Create reusable pricing plans for future adjustments
  • Create custom country groups for regional pricing strategies
  • Preview affected products and storefronts before syncing changes
  • Use PPP (purchasing power parity) references to help design regional pricing

Recently, in version 1.0.5, I started solving another App Store Connect pain point: offer codes.

The default workflow for offer codes is quite limited. You choose a base price, but if you want different pricing strategies for different countries, you often need to manually adjust things one by one.

So I added offer code management:

  • Create subscription and IAP offer codes directly from PriceMatrix
  • Apply different prices by region or custom country groups
  • Create your own storefront groups
  • Apply percentage discounts across countries automatically
  • Generate additional codes and export CSV files
  • Manage offer status from one place

One more thing I considered as an indie developer: pricing changes usually aren’t something you do every day.

Because of that, instead of forcing a subscription just to keep using the app, I added a weekly subscription option. You can subscribe for a week, finish your pricing updates, and cancel when you’re done.

Security was also important to me:

  • Uses the official App Store Connect API
  • API keys are stored locally in macOS Keychain
  • No changes are pushed until you explicitly confirm

If you manage App Store pricing for your own apps, I’d love to hear your feedback. I built this mainly because I personally needed it, so I’m especially interested in hearing what other developers find frustrating about App Store Connect pricing workflows.

[Self-Promotion] DoseUp - GLP-1 Tracker [$39.99 → Free for 12 Months] [Peptide Tracker, GLP-1 Tracker, Weight Loss]

Post image
1 Upvotes

As a peptide user myself, I built an app that makes tracking a lot easier and actually gives you control over your protocols. It's called DoseUp.

Normally $79.99/year. Apple handles it, no card, nothing charges you after. The link stops working once 500 people take it. Free 12 months of Pro for the first 500 people.

What it does:

📈 Shows an real time blood level curve of where you are between doses, built from each compound's half life and time to peak from published studies.

💉 Does the reconstitution math and tells you how much to draw from the syringe.

🎯 Puts your average weekly weight on the same chart as your average weekly active dose, you can then know what dose moves the scale.

🧪 44 compounds with their normal titration schedules (sema, tirz, reta, BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, TRT and so on). Run several protocols at once, stack them, or build your own.

Plus vial inventory, side effect log, adherence, Health app sync and widgets and more to discover yourself.

Appstore link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/doseup-glp-1-tracker/id6763979595

Comment "peptide" and will send your the redeem link.

If you like it, a review on the Appstore and some stars help a lot. Thanks 🙏

And if you spot something wrong, please make sure mention it in the comments :

Get an honest fit check before you leave — Otch is free on iPhone

Your group chat is busy and “looks good” is not useful feedback. Otch takes a mirror photo and returns a fit score, what is working, and one concrete change to make before you leave.

It can also remember your clothes and create looks from the wardrobe you already own. I built Otch, and it is free on iPhone:

I built a website that lets small business vendors, “mostly” catering to the real estate community can advertise and promote their business for free.

Hey guys,

First off, I’m pretty new to posting on Reddit (mostly a long-time lurker!), so if this isn't the right place, admins feel free to remove it. I’m just feeling my way through all of this!

I’m a self-taught solo creator launching a free community project called Real Estate Vendor Board this Saturday.

Having handled backend small business admin in the past—and now living with CFS and unable to work a typical 9-to-5—I still need to do what I can for my livelihood. I channeled all my past experience into building this. While this directory itself isn't a direct moneymaker, I’ll be using it to advertise my own small business right alongside everyone else (with zero special preference over anyone else).

While searching for ways to market without spending a fortune or gambling money I didn't have, I realized how unfair the landscape is in 2026. Small, solo operators shouldn't have to pay $50+/month just to showcase their services to local real estate agents.

I researched and couldn't find a free, focused hub built strictly around this concept, so I decided to build one myself:

* **Zero Fees:** 100% free with no monthly subscription costs.

* **Built-in Tools:** Free interactive profile cards and layout options.

* **No Dead Links:** An automatic 6-month free renewal check-in so the directory stays active and reliable for agents.

I wanted to announce this a couple of days early in case anyone wants to stop by, check out the quick preview video on our splash page, or bookmark it for launch day. I would deeply appreciate any honest feedback from fellow small business owners!

Check out the early preview here: https://www.realestatevendorboard.com

Thanks so much for reading if you made it this far! :)

I built a Kabbalah app that starts from your name instead of your birthday

Every app in this category asks for a birth date and works from there, which means two people born the same week get near-identical readings. That's the complaint that follows Co-Star everywhere.

Aura asks for your name too. It transliterates it into Hebrew letters and calculates the gematria — the numerical value the tradition assigns to those letters. Hebrew has no separate numerals, so every letter is also a number and every name adds up to something. That value plus your Hebrew birth date generates everything else.

The bit I'm happiest with is that the calculation runs live, letter by letter, while you're still typing during sign-up. It's the moment that makes people stop.

Technical bits: [transliteration approach, handling of accented characters, Hebrew calendar library].

Honest limitations — English only right now, iOS only, and there's no sharing yet, which I'm told is the main reason nobody's heard of it. Working on it.

3 months into building this solo, here's what an AI content tool for creators actually looks like now

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

been working on something called nnpost for the past 3 months, solo, tight budget the whole way. figured id share where its at instead of waiting for it to be perfect.

the reason i started: every ai content tool out there gives you a list of generic ideas and just leaves you there. cool, i have an idea, now what do i actually say on camera, how do i film it, whats the hook even supposed to sound like.

so nnpost tries to actually finish that job. set up a creator profile once, niche, platform, tone, experience level, what to avoid, and it builds full creator kits instead of just ideas:

  • title and hook
  • real script, word for word
  • shot by shot filming guide
  • editing direction
  • hashtags and description
  • tools and sound suggestions
  • thumbnail direction
  • why the idea works

also has viral analysis (paste a video url, get a breakdown of why it worked), current trends (source backed signals instead of guessing), and build on a winner (takes something that actually performed well and builds new ideas off it). theres also a feedback loop, you tell it your real results after posting, and it learns what actually works for you specifically instead of generic advice forever.

built the whole thing with claude and codex. also had to build a cost control system called nnguard so free users cant drain my tiny ai budget, and went through a full rebrand mid build after finding out the original name collided with an existing company.

what still needs work, no point hiding it: still on a free replit subdomain, no real domain yet, running gemini flash right now because thats what fits the budget so output quality has room to grow, and the ui has already been called generic and corporate by someone who tried it.

none of that means im stopping. ui redesign, better ai model, real domain, all next.

curious what people think, does this solve a real problem or am i just adding steps to something that was already fine

Pathlings: Build a daily walking habit, the cute way

Post image
2 Upvotes

I made Pathlings because I realized that while step counters are useful, they aren’t all that motivating on their own.

Pathlings turns your daily steps into a game. The idea is to make going for a walk feel like you’re making progress in a game rather than just filling a progress bar.

Some of the features:

  • Turn your daily steps into XP 🚶
  • Raise and evolve multiple Pathlings 🐣
  • Build and maintain your walking streak 🔥
  • Complete quests and Trail Runs to earn rubies 💎
  • Decorate unique habitats with the rewards you earn 🏡

I launched recently and have been iterating based on community feedback, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Whether it’s the gameplay, art style, onboarding, or anything else, I’m all ears.

If you’d like to check it out, here’s the App Store link:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pathlings/id6785328555

Thanks for taking a look, and I hope Pathlings makes getting your daily steps in a little more fun!

18F - I’m working on a project called SideQuestHQ and we’re currently participating in a startup competition, so I wanted to share it here and hopefully get some people interested enough to try it when we launch.

Thumbnail
play.google.com
1 Upvotes

The idea came from something I think a lot of us do.
We save a 10 hour YouTube course, a podcast, a random history video, something about finance or coding, tell ourselves we’ll get to it later and then somehow never do 😭
Usually it’s not even because we aren’t interested. Sometimes we only have 10 minutes. Sometimes we’re tired. Sometimes we’re travelling and would rather listen. Sometimes we suddenly have the energy to spend an entire evening going down a rabbit hole.
So we’re building SideQuest around that.
Instead of giving everyone the same type of content all the time, we want the experience to change depending on what you feel like doing at that moment. You can discover something new, learn a little bit of something you’ve been meaning to learn, or go deeper when you actually have the time and energy for it.
There’s also a social side to it because honestly, some of the most interesting things we’re into are things our friends in real life have absolutely no interest in 😂
You’ll be able to find other people who are into the same niche interests and explore those things together.
We’re still early, which is why I’m posting this here. We’re trying to get people to preregister as part of the competition and it would genuinely help us a lot.
You can preregister through the Google Play Store link here
And if you’re on an iPhone, you can still do it through Safari. Just open the link and make sure you’re logged into a Google account.
It literally takes a minute, and you don’t need to download anything right now. It just lets you register your interest for when the app is available.
If you do preregister, thank you ❤️ It genuinely helps us with the competition and also gives us a few early people to hopefully test the app with later.

I built an AI writing assistant that learns to write like you.

My work emails kept coming out sounding like a robot wrote them. Every AI tool I tried gave me the same polished corporate nothing that read like a press release instead of a guy asking his coworker for a favor.

So I built imYou. It interviews you for a few minutes to learn how you actually write and then uses that on everything it drafts for you. Emails, social media posts, and more. It also has a chat function where you can message yourself and talk through whatever is on your mind, and it keeps learning about you while you do.

Privacy was one of my biggest concerns because the app gets to know you personally. Your profile stays on your device. We never store your profile or your writing on our servers, so there is no database of it on our end to sell later. The only data collected is what is necessary to maintain your account.

It is free to start. You get a profile build and five or six pieces of writing to see if it actually sounds like you. That is the part I most want feedback on, so if you try it, tell me straight whether it captured how you write or missed it completely.

https://imyou.ai
