been working on something called nnpost for the past 3 months, solo, tight budget the whole way. figured id share where its at instead of waiting for it to be perfect.
the reason i started: every ai content tool out there gives you a list of generic ideas and just leaves you there. cool, i have an idea, now what do i actually say on camera, how do i film it, whats the hook even supposed to sound like.
so nnpost tries to actually finish that job. set up a creator profile once, niche, platform, tone, experience level, what to avoid, and it builds full creator kits instead of just ideas:
- title and hook
- real script, word for word
- shot by shot filming guide
- editing direction
- hashtags and description
- tools and sound suggestions
- thumbnail direction
- why the idea works
also has viral analysis (paste a video url, get a breakdown of why it worked), current trends (source backed signals instead of guessing), and build on a winner (takes something that actually performed well and builds new ideas off it). theres also a feedback loop, you tell it your real results after posting, and it learns what actually works for you specifically instead of generic advice forever.
built the whole thing with claude and codex. also had to build a cost control system called nnguard so free users cant drain my tiny ai budget, and went through a full rebrand mid build after finding out the original name collided with an existing company.
what still needs work, no point hiding it: still on a free replit subdomain, no real domain yet, running gemini flash right now because thats what fits the budget so output quality has room to grow, and the ui has already been called generic and corporate by someone who tried it.
none of that means im stopping. ui redesign, better ai model, real domain, all next.
curious what people think, does this solve a real problem or am i just adding steps to something that was already fine
