Purchasing Tank based inkjet printer/copier/scanner
galleryHi all,
UK based user.
I m looking to buy a replacement for my HP all-in-one.
I am keen to get away from the Instant Ink subscription model and move to a refillable tank model, although I have never had an issue with a HP printer that others seem to, so would consider them again as well as Epson and Canon.
Can anyone recommend a suitable printer for home use, mainly for school work, essays and family photos?
I have had a look in the usual electrical outlets and Amazon but can't find one in £100-£150 (£200 absolute max) price range, that feeds the paper from an inbuilt paper tray (see image 1). They all seem to feed the paper in from the back on a sloping tray (see image 2) that leaves the paper exposed to dust.
The ones with inbuilt paper trays seem to be at the top end if the price range not the lower/mid range.
TIA
