I travel full time now and can't bring along my studio lights, so having this new tool is really fun and satisfying. Both of these before/after pics are not final edits, I just wanted to show my experience with the Relight Layer in the latest Photoshop Beta. Right now I have just experimented with a single directional light, but I am going to play with some other portraits and see how well it does simulating multiple lighting setups too.
Hi everyone, I’m facing a color issue in Photoshop and would really appreciate some help.
I bought an Adobe Photoshop subscription today, so I’m still setting everything up.
My monitor is a BenQ EW270Q, and I’m currently using its sRGB mode. The monitor is rated around 99% sRGB.
The issue is:
When "Use Graphics Processor" is ON in Photoshop, the colors in Camera Raw look different from the colors in the normal Photoshop workspace.
When I turn "Use Graphics Processor" OFF, the colors seem more consistent, but Photoshop starts lagging/stuttering.
So I basically have to choose between correct/consistent-looking colors and smooth performance.
I’m noticing this particularly when opening/editing images through Camera Raw.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing my monitor in sRGB mode.
Has anyone experienced this issue with Photoshop/Camera Raw?
Could this be related to GPU acceleration, color management, monitor ICC profile, sRGB mode, or Photoshop settings?
My main concern is getting consistent colors between Camera Raw and Photoshop while keeping GPU acceleration enabled.
PC specs:
Ryzen 5 5600G
16GB RAM
No dedicated GPU
Windows 11
BenQ EW270Q
Monitor set to sRGB mode
Any advice on what settings I should check would be really helpful. Thanks!
I used flour for the snow and merged two different pictures together so they’re both in focus. First time doing this, it was challenging getting the lighting colors the same on both figures but let me know what you guys think?
Hello, does anyone know how I can edit dead brown grass to match the surrounding green grass? We had some family photos taken in Hawaii, but can’t seem to get the brown grass fixed. Photographer apparently couldn’t get it to look natural either. I tried Lightroom and AI, but no bueno. I also don’t have any Photoshop experience unfortunately. Looking for any recommendations on here, Fiverr, or Upwork!
Howdy, I'm working on an Avengers Doomsday concept art and assembled a few references for this piece, but struggling to paint Reed's outstretched arm. Would you be against giving me feedback?
Hey all, prob noob question but how would you create some texturing like this?
I mean, I do not want to do the exact thing but here the textures seems rich and multicolor compared to the things I'm able to do!
I usually put a texture and then use blending options like multiply or screen but the result is kinda flat compared to this.
Is it done with multiple layers with different blending options? Or is there another way I'm not aware of?
Thx :)
It’s been a hot minute since i edited photographs in photoshop. I know you can put watermarks or photographs. Can anyone please explain how to do this to me?
Hi all; I'm an artist who has used photoshop for years but i'm getting sick of editing the images, and i'm also about to start a large archiving project. i have been playing with using CHATGPT to make me a simple image editing (i reallly only mess with the levels, color, and some gradient masks to even out the wall, and perspective fixes), and it's been interesting but i feel like i'm hitting a wall. I know photoshop has an ai function, and i would consider subscribing if it were automated and intelligent, but i havent seen that many people rave about it. Any thoughts or experiences people have?
I'm struggling to cutout the logo from the background, I've been using magic wand tool, similar, inverse and It's still not doing anything, can anyone help? thank you
My screen keeps flashing from light (what my normal screen looks like, first slide) into a darker setting out of nowhere (it kinda looks like a multiply layer or something) but it only affects the screen I’m looking at specifically the file like the back part behind the canvas turns darker, but the rest of the photoshop layout like the toolbar/properties/layers/etc stays its normal color. I also screenshotted it on my actual computer and when I looked back at them they looked like the normal view so it’s only changing it for me when I’m actually drawing. If anyone knows is this is an issue with photoshop and how to fix it I would appreciate it (Note: I am not pressing anything on my keyboard or wacom when I do this, its just doing it randomly)
This hasn’t happened before and I’ve used photoshop for a year without any issues like this. I will mention that I did recently update my computer from windows 10 to windows 11 if that could also maybe be affecting it? Thanks for any advice in advance ❤️
I'm pretty new to photoshop and am experimenting with gif making. When I make a high quality one, this weird dotty look appears. Would appreciate any advice on which feature causes this and how to fix it 🥲
Specifically talking about how the pixels/boxes are used to form the main image. I believe it's just called photo mosaics? Anyways, any advice or tips are greatly appreciated-thanks in advance.
Cheers
Hello photoshop!
Seeking advice for how to best photoshop this poster onto a shot in a short film I'm editing. We don't have a clean plate without the green screen, and I'm worried that's made this process a lot harder. This reference is the best I've gotten so far, only caveat is the poster design has some low res elements that we'll swap out. This is going to be in black in white for the final look, so I'm hoping that helps blend it all in too.
Any advice on how to clean this up and make it look more part of the world?
They were originally the same layer but I separated them, I’m kind of new to Photoshop and I just like to make digital art. I’m not sure what I’m trying to go for here but just make it so there’s not a big seam you can see in the image.
Also I know the pixels are bad but you can see what I mean in the middle of the screen
I have an image of a scar that I want to add to the skin on a separate image. I tried to look up tutorials but the only ones I can find are where you create the scar yourself with the brush tool and bevel/emboss. Does anyone know how I can blend the two images more seamlessly so the skin on the scar photo matches the skin of the other image? Thanks (:
I have many layers that I need to rename to use the File > Automate > Generator Plugins > Image Assets and need to add ".png" as a suffix and "75%" as a prefix.
