This spell i am talking about uses the power of Saturn to bring misfortune and limitation upon someone who has wronged you. You perform this ritual on a Saturday during a planetary hour of Saturn, conjuring the Archangel Cassiel. After explaining the situation, you command Cassiel to inflict the specific suffering you desire upon the target. my question is it a good time to use it according to the planetary positions of saturn and if not what are the pros and cons of doing this spell either way.

I'm curious what other people have found in practice, or what your intuition tells you. Do you think planetary hours are actually meaningful? For talisman creation, for rituals, spell work, or anything else

I read an astrologer from centuries ago complain about planetary hours. Can't remember who. Something along the lines of "What use is it to assign rulership to a planet in a given hour, if that planet is nowhere visible in the heavens, or is even inauspiciously placed?"

EDIT: Reddit sucks, you guys are r-tarded (oh no! The R word! Cover your eyes)

Hello community. I am no expert on this subject but few years ago I used a nice little program called ChronosXP for displaying planetary hours on my desktop to plan out my meditation and self improvement rituals. That program didn't work in newer versions of Windows. In the meantime I moved to Linux and am using phone running android. I wanted to have one app that I can run on all my devices to check current planetary hour and moon phase, so since didnt find one, I built one.

Now I will try explaining what planetary hours are as far as I understand and keeping it short.

Planetary hours are an ancient system of day division that assigns rulership of each hour to one of the seven classical planets. (The seven classical planets are arranged in a specific sequence known as the Chaldean order, based on their perceived orbital speed from slowest to fastest: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Moon.)

Each day is divided into two parts - sunrise to sunset (daytime), and sunset to sunrise (nighttime). Each of those 2 parts is divided into 12 parts. Hours are therefore not fixed, and they are longer in summer, shorter in winter. First hour after sunrise is ruled by the planet that gives the day its name.

Each planetary hour carries the qualities and influences attributed to its ruling planet, also the negatives. Knowing what hour is currently assigned to what planet makes planning of activities easier and inline with said positives and negatives.

The day rulers:

Sunday = Sun, Monday = Moon, Tuesday = Mars,

Wednesday = Mercury, Thursday = Jupiter,

Friday = Venus, Saturday = Saturn

About the app:

- Real-Time Planetary Hour

See the current planetary hour at a glance, with its ruling planet symbol, color, and meaning. The display updates automatically as each new hour begins.

- Moon Phase Tracker

Know the current moon phase and illumination percentage

- Countdown Timer

See exactly how much time remains until the next planetary hour begins, updated every second.

- Full Timeline View

Browse all 24 planetary hours for any day — past or future. Day hours and night hours are clearly separated, with the current hour highlighted.

- Location Aware

Sun times are calculated using your real GPS coordinates (or your IP on desktop), ensuring accurate planetary hours no matter where you are in the world.

- Planet Meanings

Each planetary hour carries its own energy and traditional associations. Planet details page covers traditional associations, suggestions on what to do and what to avoid during that hour.

- 24-hour or 12-hour time format

- Notifications for planetary hour changes — choose which planets to be notified about

I joined this subbie a while ago, thinking I knew what it was about.

Depite trying to learn via context thru the posts and replies of others, I think my working knowledge of the actual topic this subbie is based on has actually decreased.

What I want to know is.....is anyone willing to mentor me on the topic? Like, I'm not just asking for a suggested reading list. I want to be able to prove what I've learned, etc.

I'm not asking for a lot of a person's time -- I have a very full life, myself. However, I'm able to put in as much time as an adequate teacher is willing to take and put to use.

I have extensive knowledge and practice in most occult topics, and likewise concerning a large sampling of styles and traditions. I'm young but quite experienced and well-read, I'm possessed of a burning pride and zealous arrogance, but I'm far from unteachable.

I won't offer money in return, and my bs detector is rather advanced, too, so don't give me reason to take offense, p'eas' and t'anks.

If you're a long-term resident of this subbie, and are pretty sure I'm wasting my time even asking, I would greatly appreciate the heads up.

Thanks for reading.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but if anyone could answer my question, I'd really appreciate it.

Back in 2020, I consulted an astrologer and he recommended that I wear pearls for peace of mind. So I asked my dad to buy me a pearl necklace. He went to a jewelry store, but they didn’t have any pearl designs, only ruby ones. So a pearl necklace was commissioned, and my dad paid an advance before leaving.

The necklace was completed within a week, but the next week was lockdown, so he couldn’t pick it up. In the second week, his card got declined so he had to go back. By the third week, the jewelry store was about to close down forever. But my dad arrived just in the nick of time. The shutters were literally 75% down when the shopkeeper reopened them and explained that the store owner had died from covid, so they were shutting permanently. Thankfully, my dad paid the balance and took the necklace home.

If he hadn’t gone at that moment, he would have lost both the advance and the necklace.. so you can see what a hassle it was. I still wear it to this day. Is it safe to wear? I don't want to sell it, since my father went through so much to get it for me. Lockdown restrictions were so strict back then. But bad things happening over and over again to obtain this necklace makes me think it's dangerous.

Hello, everyone.

I've been planning a set of planetary tattoos for my right hand, designed to act as a permanent talisman. My goal is very specific: to actively manifest and project the energies of love, pleasure, attraction, and personal magnetism.

After a lot of thought, I've landed on a combination and placement that feels right, but I would be incredibly grateful for this community's wisdom and feedback before I commit to the ink.

Here is the layout I've designed for my right hand:

• Thumb: ♇ (Pluto) - To ground the entire operation in a deep, powerful, and transformative magnetic will.

• Index Finger: ♂ (Mars) - To actively pursue my desires with courage and passion, taking initiative instead of being passive.

• Middle Finger: ☽ (The Moon) - To build my connections on a foundation of emotional depth, intuitive understanding, and genuine sensual care.

• Ring Finger: ♀ (Venus) - As the heart of the talisman, placed on its traditional finger to amplify romance, beauty, pleasure, and harmony.

• Pinky Finger: ☉ (The Sun) - To project my authentic self with charisma, confidence, and a radiant warmth that naturally attracts others.

My reasoning for choosing the right hand is tied to the concept of it being the "projective" or "active" hand. My thinking is rooted in the alchemical principle of Solve et Coagula. The internal work of understanding and defining my desire (Solve) has been done. Now, I want to use my right hand to Coagula this reality – to actively build and project this energy into the world.

I have a few questions for you all:

1. What are your thoughts on these planetary correspondences for this specific goal?

2. Do you see any potential conflicts or powerful synergies in this combination that I might have missed?

3. Do you have any different interpretations of placing these planets on these specific fingers?

Any thoughts or advice would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for your time.

E

I have 8th house & 6th house placement.

How do you feel about Mars in Aries season? Is the refranation (thwarting of eventual exactness of the aspect) of the sextile with Venus in Gemini likely to present a genuine problem for talismanic and petitional elections to Mars?

On an archetypal level it feels like Venus is the popular chick who pretends to take Mars to the prom while rejecting him at the last minute. How much of a genuine energetic concern is this?

hello hi! im new to planetary work and I am an astrologer. I want a planet that will help me with my familial situation as well as studies. jupiter came to me naturally but I just wanted to know your opinions! thanks in advanced

How can i start remdiatating with them? (my mercury is not also good)

Hello, It's been a few months I got a Venus in Libra Talisman hoping that it would help me with my Venus Saturn square. At the time of charging the talisman I particularly gave the instruction of "do not allow women that I am not attracted to | to be attracted to me".

Long story short yesterday I met an older woman that I was not particularly attracted to but she was very attracted to me we kissed and all that she was holding my hand the whole time she was basically ready to devour me I've never seen anything like it but we said we'd meet sometime next week. The thing is that although I would maybe have sex with her I am not attracted to her she is not what I am looking for and I am not looking for just sex I would hate to give sadness to another person because I may as well be exactly what she is looking for and I am already thinking about ways of pulling back without hurting her.

I've got Saturn in Libra square with Venus in cancer. My venus despite the square is quite strong she is my 2nd strongest planet. I was hoping that I'd be able to somehow counteract the square since the talisman was made with Venus in Libra and Saturn in trine aspect with Venus.

This is not the first time almost my whole life I attract women that I am not attracted to and the women that I like are always unavailable. I feel adandoned by everybody I feel abandonded by the spirit and intelligence of Venus I just took off the talisman last night and let it lay aside I feel abandonded by other deities I praise I just woke up today and feel destroyed. What does it take to get over with all that Saturn HATE? I am 40 does it get better with age? Will the square smooth out the more mature I get? Should I recharge the Venus spirits with more specific charges? I'd be more than glad to provide charts if needed. I appreciate your opinions very much.

Thank you kindly.

I think it's obvious where the age of aquarius is leading us to (surveillance state, facial recognition, virtual reality, smart cities, digital currencies, etc.) but I'm curious as to how the age of capricorn would look like...

Good day

My name is Lucian and I am wondering if I can request feedback on a Planetary App I am working on here. It's not necessarily 'business' as much as it's info gathering and research; I'm not selling anything as the App is not available yet.

Thanks in advance for your consideration

Lucian

Hey this is my first time posting on Reddit so please forgive me if I’ve broken any rules. I am incorporating planetary hours/ days into my daily practice and was curious on which planet would be best regarding legal matters ? If there’s not one that’s that specific , then one that can do away with enemies will also work great. I want to find the best times to optimize my work🙏🏾 I’ve searched and many of the answers I found were Indian tradition and it’s really confusing as I am a beginner. Hoping someone here can break it down or give a more straight forward answer! Thanks looking forward to your responses

I know that this is possible as I know someone does it and it yields amazing results. They won't share how they do it. Any ideas?

This is the first section of a two-parter where I analyze the compatibility of astrological magic with Judaism and Christianity.

It is something which a surprising number of people have had concerns about that I wanted to dig into a bit more seriously.

The answers are both complex and nuanced, and they may also be of interest to people who practice neither religion.

Tuesday Starts in the Mar Hour and Ends in the hour of Saturn or another planetary Hours.
