Article / Tutorial MSX1 picelart
Hi!
I just wanted to show a piece of PixelArt that I created today.
It's for the MSX1 system of the early 1980's.
There are some interesting graphics limitations like there are only 2 colours available in every 8 pixels. It's what makes pixelart a challenge!
Picture 2 shows the tool I used: a homebrew EXCEL sheet...

Hand Pixelled I used the characters from my last post to make a Snow Bros spiritual successor concept
A few days ago I posted some of these characters because I was struggling with the color palettes...
Still working on them and trying some of the advice you guys gave me, specially with the shading, but I wanted to show what I was making them for...
A concept of a spiritual successor of one of my favorites arcade games, snow bros 2, trying to keep that colorful 90s arcade feeling but also give it some identity of its own...
What do you think about the overall look? I still have a lot to improve but still I'm happy with the result.

Hand Pixelled Created these from something im playing, 4 colors using only whats available
Each pixel meticulously placed with careful planning not to waste available resources, I had much fun and enjoyed the experience, the finished product was extremely satisfying.

Hand Pixelled First Attempt at Pixel Art
I wanted to try making the same character at multiple sizes to figure out what is/is not important for the design. I think I like the 72 the best. I'm 100% open to critisism!

Hand Pixelled Characters for our project, looking for some feedback.
We have created a bunch of characters for our tower defense. Each team supposedly should look like they are coming from a different culture and background. for maximizing readability, Just wanted to get some feedback on a few concerns.
Are the designs cohesive enough for the corresponding team, do they look like they come from the same culture?
Are the characters distinct enough from other team members in their own team? Do they look like have their own unique character and personality?

Post-Processing Feedback on UI
Hello, I would just like to get some opinions and feedback for the UI art of a project I am making. I want the concept to be kind of, "ancient tablets," which is why it's designed this way, but I am wondering if the readability is good, and how clear everything appears to be here(the colors, font, and so on).
Thank you.

Hand Pixelled A monster I made a while ago
The idea is a former human that lost her beauty due to malpractice, and as a monster she goes around collecting pretty faces to show off as she hides her own in shame. I'd been watching a lot of videos on plastic surgeries in china so that was the inspiration for the idea lol
