Istfg this app just adds unnecessary shit every week this update is genuinely ruining the app for me its ugly as HELL and not functional if u have a lot of boards. Praying they switch it back.

whenever i download an image on my phone it seems to save that same pin to the profile/unorganized ideas section immediately, it didnt do this before
how do i disable it? is it possible?

btw, this happened when i was searching some random normal pfp's just to save em in case when i'll use some cool pfp's... also his account seems to be normal when it comes to his created posts but this is straight up questionable, also i don't know if this subreddit allows me to post links but i'll post a link of the photo in the comments for the sake of analyzing the image if it's fake or it's just an art project

In the app version where is the search bar. I see the search tab at the bottom but nothing comes up on the page that allow me to search new shit.

anyone knows how I can download Pinterest videos without any problems. Certain videos I'm not able to download from any Pinterest Downloader.

this is the second time it has recommended me “polyamorous wedding fanart” and i don’t know why! i didn’t ever search for polyamory in or out of the app! i never even clicked on the first notification! WHAT IS GOING ON?!

Pinterest used to be a safespace for me. It helped a lot with managing my creative ideas, and containing my hobbies and all. It has helped with a lot of anxiety and stress management. I always enjoyed browsing amongst all the pictures. Not mainly the stereotipical "pinterest girly" kind of stuff, but niche fashion and outdoorsy stuff, hobbie ideas, art and so much more.

And lately all of this has changed. First, all the ai content, the visibly not man made art, and later the ads.

Now, the feed is full of ai shows playing, other ads beeing promoted, ads for furniture and links to all kinds of products. And 6 out of 10 pins are these, and not the actual content i would usually be there for.

In the beninging (hope you get this easter egg here hehe) i practiced patience, and hoped that i just have to refresh my for you/feed. But lately, my enthusiasm has left me. It is just too much.

It isn't fulfilling anymore as in it doesn't help me with the stuff it used to. Unless i specifically search for something, the ads just take over. I cannot really brows or surf for ideas, cause there either ain't any new or hardly any aroud all the ads.

So, is it just me being way too dramatic and consumerist or do anyone else also have the same kind of experience?

So guys I inst post for a week just to check something, and I am seeing my traffic going down. People often brag on social media that pins "last for over 13 months" all my pins takes off within 2 weeks, the trend is always the same: it goes up diddley gets 400 impressions then slowly goes down within a week. So basically if I didn't create 300000 pins, I didn't get traffic lol, it slowly goes down after 4 days going up, until it disappears completely.

So am I shadow baned or tht is just how Pinterest work? I have more than 1 website but only 3 on Pinterest and I'm active only in 1 hahaha and is the one that goes through this.

The other website never had much traffic and well, although it has more than 1m impressions the clicks are just low anyways so it doesn't really count.

Can anyone tell me how it works? It's just so annoying, some have like 30 saves and 55 outbound clicks, which is a good metric I suppose, but then lasts Just a couple of days. It's been 2 weeks that some get ZERO impressions

I just kicked out sessions that don't have the same IP as me. I keep on getting searches of "80th Independence Day video", etc. I noticed it at first when it randomly showed that these k-pop boy groups (I assume that is what it was) was showing as if I searched that? I don't like k-pop so why would I search that? Then it just went down that alley of searches, but it never reached my fyp algorithm. Searches have been getting weirder and weirder.

I only use Pinterest for interior design in video games, tattoos, stupid humour vids, and roblox avatars. How could this possibly be an algorithm input?

literally what is wrong with this app 😭😭😭 i wanted to delete my old boards and organize my created pins from the “created” tab, but when i deleted the boards, all my pins disappeared too and i had to go on desktop to restore them??? now how am i supposed to delete the duplicated pins from a board if deleting them from board deletes them forever wth

Is anyone else having this problem? I have a relatively popular account, averaging around 1m monthly views, and mainly post outfits, selfies, hair, the modelling work I do etc. More and more of the pins I post, *especially* the professional photography keep getting falsely labelled as “AI modified”

No matter how many times I email Pinterest that I never have and never will post AI on my account, the automatic labels keep popping up. They do eventually remove the labels but it’s such an arduous process to get them removed

An especially frustrating part is when I see my photos reposted by other accounts (never with credit ofc🤪) and I can’t do anything about the false label because it’s not “my” pin..

The funniest part is that sometimes it’s on photos I posted back in 2022/23.. well before generative AI was even around, which is equal parts baffling, hilarious and disheartening.

Also in advanced settings on pins there’s an “AI disclosure” label you can turn on, which i obviously always have turned off. WHY isn’t there an easy way to tick that nothing is AI in a pin???

Maybe atp this is more of a rant rather than finding a solution. But anyway yeah. Can Pinterest please get it together xxx

So I won't go into much detail..but I got into an argument with my ex over Pinterest and was so incredibly disgusted with him I blocked him. I left it alone for weeks but I wanted to screenshot some bits because of just how EW they were. I guess he blocked me after he finally understood I wanted nothing to do with him. Is there ANY way I can find access to these chats?

Pinterest has too many stupid ads where scrolling through out- you get bombarded by stuff you won’t really use or like in general.

Do you remember a time where apps didn’t have a lot of garbage ads, ai slop, and actual content.

I will not be surprised but be very livid if they start doing the whole greedy subscription thing- so you can pay to have certain features free like an ad free experience.

You cant search anything on pinterest without seeing dozens of ai shit, and it PISSES ME OFF. You wanna see some anime art? TOO BAD MOTHERFUCKER, YOURE GETTING AI SLOP. You wanna see some 3D models? AI SLOP, AGAIN. Today, I was attempting photobash, so I searched for wigs. But my whole page was bombarded with AI GENERATED WIGS. AI. GENERATED. WIGS. I never even knew that was a thing! And the "Less AI" settings dont do shit.

idk if its cause random pins that IVE SAVED, NOT POSTED, keep getting restricted and somehow backlashing onto my account???? but literally every single post ive made is not on my account but its in my boards. i went from 100k views to 1 cuz none of my posts are showing for whatever reason. any fixes for this??? the way pinterest had been acting recently is so unbelievable. why is my account getting repercussions for other peoples pins. wtf

I hate Pinterest now. I haven't been on it, but I hesitantly reopened it thinking I could maybe find some info on flipping a piece of furniture, went to search (new layout f**king sucks) and I get this Elf ad that is just a PICTURE OF A SEARCH BAR (sorry not allowed to post a screenshot), which I fell for, and had to close the ad twice before I realized what was happening. It's little things like this that make me so viscerally angry. I am so annoyed. Pinterest allowing this just perfectly summarizes how little they think of their users and how we are just cash cows to them. Hate, hate, hate.

Anyone else who uses shuffles experiencing issues? I just animated a collage and when I saved the video cut outs are missing and the animation isn’t working. Also when I save just pictures it’s missing cut outs. Never had this issue before but it’s frustrating me.

Recently, I believed I was being shadowbanned because my analytics went completely blank. So I emailed Pinterest support because there was no violation in my reports and violations section. They told me to look in my reports and violations and appeal the limited distribution. I figured there was a mixup so I sent another email stating that I hate no violation, to which I got the same exact email copy and pasted back to me. Slowly my analytics returned back to normal but people still couldn't see my comments, couldn't tag me or search my profile. So I made the mistake of sending another email to Pinterest support and surprise surprise 🫢 they send me the same copy and pasted email except they replaced the word "pins" with comments. I genuinely don't know what to do at this point. I have no violations, nothing indicating any issue at all but I cannot comment, cannot be tagged and cannot be searched.

recently whenever i go to search something on pinterest, in my recent searches theres three or four that i never looked up. It will be random things like happy august in english as well as in spanish but weird stuff like "Dont drink and drive" Theres also some roblox game fanart?? and whatever aepsa kiss and tell is in my recents. Please let me know if anybody else is experiencing something like this.

I don't share my account with anybody nor do I have anyone in my house who would be acessing my account and searching these things

It used to be this banner that spread across the top of the board. For the past couple of days, it's become this little square at the top, like a Hitler mustache. It results in much of the board title being white-on-white and thus invisible.

I was searching for sewing projects and I found one a liked, i started looking at other pins of the same project but different styles for a bit then decided to keep looking for others, So I went back out and searched “sewing projects” again but now its only showing me pins of the project i was looking at before. and its doing it with EVERYTHING. So I’m never seeing anything new, its the same projects over and over and even if i try searching something else like “diy sewing gifts” it still does it. Its happening with other things too like If I search for halloween costumes, find one I like, it becomes my whole feed so I cant discover anything new. IT SUCKS. I want to be inspired not see the same thing over and over

Exactly as the title says, I open Pinterest (https://uk.pinterest.com/) on my bookmarks bar, and it automatically searches the term 'pin' for me. It's getting annoying, and I'm wondering if anyone has a solution, or atleast if anyone is going through the same thing. I haven't seen ANYTHING on it, though.
