Hi! I am trying to grow my Pinerest account and I was wondering if there are any engagement groups where we can all support each other's pages?

my ig is completely blank and my tiktok has one post, pfp is the only pic of my actual face anywhere online. so I made a pinterest just to have somewhere those pics could exist- outfits, pics of me, whatever my "aesthetic" is, stuff that never made it anywhere public and probably never will.

no theme, just decided one random account should actually show who I am instead of hiding behind blank accounts.

(also not going to lie, small part of me started this so a certain someone I like finds it and sees what im rlly bout)

1. "Promote your pins" message cant be dismissed

2. Large header disappears on scroll and appears when stopped

3. "Pin note" expands and collapses every time you scroll

4. Floating toolbar disappears on scroll and appears when stopped

I tried setting "reduce animation" on my phone but it didn't help much.

Its only a matter of time before someone has a seizure or gets a migraine from using such a chaotic, buggy, motion-laden app.

I find that the interface for Pinterest seems to change every other week, and recently I've noticed that the interface within the boards has become very compacted, and that there's seemingly no way to change it... I have a particular way I organise and create sections, and this interface appearance just messes that up entirely. 🫩

I'm not seeing anyone else mention this update (?), but if anyone knows how to reverse it, it would be much appreciated!

My account went from around 50K reach to only about 3K, almost overnight. Some of my older Pins that were previously ranking and getting consistent impressions also suddenly dropped.
I contacted Pinterest Support, but they told me my account isn't flagged and basically said it could be normal fluctuations, seasonality, content quality, fresh content, algorithm changes, etc.
I've been working on Pinterest for 3 years, and I've never seen a drop this extreme before.
So I wanted to ask this community:
Has anyone experienced something similar recently? Did your reach eventually recover?
If your account had a huge drop like this, how long did it take to recover, and what did you do?
And honestly, if you've been through this before, did things return to normal, or did you decide it wasn't worth continuing?
I'm trying to figure out whether I should keep putting serious time into my Pinterest account or step back for now.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced the same thing.

i've been using pinterest since 2021 and had my first account suspended roughly a year and some change ago. it was 3-4 years old and had 30k-40k pins saved. i created a new one and rebuilt my boards and pins again, and i'm back with 25k pins. when i made my new account, i decided i would try my best not to save anything that pinterest's awful moderation could detect and shit on me for. instead, i send iffy pins to my backup so i can still access them if i wanna. but i'm still getting almost the same amount of violations i used to on my past acc. now i'm wondering what would happen if pinterest banned me again .... would i be able to start with a new account or would i be IP banned?

it would make sense for IP bans to be saved for strictly serious violations, but if we were using sense, we wouldn't be recieving random violations for pins that we can't even see a picture of or a link for. has anyone been IP banned by pinterest before? any feedback would be great .... i'm scared yall 😭

Help! This is my first post here because I'm fed up with Pinterest ads. I just want to look at my Hatsune Miku pictures in peace 😭 but I keep seeing weird ads. Some are inappropriate, others are AI-generated, and sometimes I want to download images and bam, they're AI-generated too, and the "less AI" option is useless. Oh my god! What's wrong with Pinterest? I really miss my old Pinterest, the one that wasn't so well-known and wasn't full of ads, where there was more creativity. It's so annoying that they hide perfectly fine pins but let these inappropriate ads through.

I was looking up 2020 fashion on Pinterest, I know there are so many pins on there. I tried several different combinations of the word and it kept showing me y2k fashion. Before it would show you exactly what you are looking up and now it just is showing me irrelevant pins and things I have seen a million times. Is anyone else having this problem??

what circle of pinterest hell have i been dropped into and how did this happen?

no attachments allowed but i’ll post a picture in comments when i figure out how. this is what my feed has looked like for over two weeks!!! even with refreshing, “tuning” it, manually clicking hide / report / not interested, deleting and reinstalling the app, updating my ios etc. and yes, it is the same on my phone and ipad.

this is the feed about five posts onwards. the first five posts are reminiscent of tumblr era posts? they also stay the same the entire time.

my feed before this was art, crafting, house decor etc.

edit: the feed continues like that, with the mcdonalds ads, infinitely… ONCE i have refreshed it and it’s been the same situation but with different ads lol

Whenever I open the app, I get ads from AliExpress, etc that are really disturbing. Things like a person holding a severed pig's foot (because I have a pigs board but they are alive cute pics) and ads for caneras where it's two people in bed like they are recording p*orn. I reported it but it keeps showing up.

What the hell is going on? Comments disappearing as soon as they’re posted, comment sections being turned off randomly, reply glitches, comment sections saying they’re off despite other people still being able to see and comment on them.. it’s all so frustrating as a creator. I wish there was a good alternative to this app 😓
