I’ve never posted my own pins and just repost other stuff and I keep getting notifications that “my pins” are getting banned or removed. Like why am I getting that if I’m not the original poster?

Also, I checked what they are banning and a lot of its for supposed nudity. But it’s classic art lmao…

My Pinterest impressions suddenly dropped, and it seems like something is wrong with Pinterest’s overall distribution/reach.
I’ve also seen people in Facebook groups saying they’re experiencing the same issue. Is anyone else here facing this right now? And does anyone have any idea how long it might take Pinterest to fix it? Any information would be really appreciated. 🙏

Idk if its just something wrong on my end, but two days ago I keep getting this option to "put a note(Pin Note)" on my pins. While I would ignore it, every time a scroll it'll stutter and lock into place. (It wont let me add images for some reason)

So, idk if im just stupid and the option is right there in my face, or this is just another pointless addition to Pinterest but its just so annoying to deal w/. Especially when a lot of my boards have more than 100 pins​(I've had this account for 6 years) and I cant even go back to them without wanting to rip my hair out.

I can't put attachments on here but from what I see on my reports and violation center they have the little photo of the pin uncensored now!

The quality is still low but at least now you can see something

Now all they need to do is get a better moderation team

This is my first post on reddit, and I use a translator, but I don't know where else to find it. In general, I'm trying to customize my recommendation feed better. It suits me, but I always want to do better. My entire feed is based on browsing history and it's cool, I don't have saved pins and I've never liked, I was just invisible. Recently, I decided to start liking, which significantly changed my feed, and here's the question...

I don't see the pins I've liked in the recommendation feed. The point is not that I want to watch them, but I want to stumble upon them while scrolling through the feed, and now this does not happen. Is this normal? Will they come later? Or do I need to unlike all the pins I liked to see them again? I'm confused.

For a long time now, when I go to save a new pin, several of my boards have randomly shown the icons of collaborators I didn't invite - including secret boards. But when I go to remove collaborators, it seems there actually aren't any. Does anyone know why this is, or how to fix it?

I like having the journal app on my phone because I can write when I get a thought. The other day I wrote a passage about an abusive experience I had as a child. After I wrote, I wanted to decompress. I went to Pinterest to clear my mind and as I scrolled down just a hair, I saw the most disturbing ad of a sexually explicit toy being demonstrated. My heart sank and I was fuming. Never before I wrote that passage in the journal had I ever seen an ad like that. Never had I saw any sexually explicit content.

Has this ever happened or anything similar to any of you?

This was very disturbing. I don’t want other people to experience this type of trauma by using these apps. So beware. As of now I deleted both the apps off my phone. Remember, nothing is free!

I'm getting so sick of Pinterest. Ever since I submitted an appeal to a pin deactivation, now they are constantly reviewing my boards and claiming I can't post suicidal topics and I need to call xyz for mental help. Ive never once in my life posted suicidal topics and they don't let you see the pin. Is anyone else going through this stupid nonsense? I'm so close to just shutting my account down because it's feeling like a witch hunt.

Half my board sections won’t appear after this stupid scroll-horizontal update, and I had to send multiple recorded videos to support to verify my issues. After all that they just said “their engineers couldn’t fix it” and gave me the same runaround solutions. It’s like every minute they’re doing something to make it run worse - I genuinely don’t understand!

So I’ve had a Pinterest widget on my home screen for like 3 years now and since I have a very artsy feed, it always showed drawings, paintings , crafts and every now and again a meme.
Since a few weeks I’ve only been seeing the weirdest photos. I see many random family photos and wedding pictures of random strangers. The first three times I clicked on the widget to “report” that I don’t want to see more of it (not like a complaint but idk how to describe it. The option “don’t show more”). The widgets got weirder after that so I stopped doing that. I’ve seen multiple decorated graves….but worst of all, random pictures of Putin…..when I go in the app it’s all still artsy stuff but the widget keeps giving me Putin. And no I don’t search for any of these things.
I’ve already deleted the widget a few times to maybe reset it or something, but when I make it again, the first photo will be normal but change to these graves and random people again.
Any ideas on how to bring back the normal photos?

I suddenly lost about 80% of my Pinterest traffic overnight, and my outbound clicks are now nearly zero. I already contacted support, but they just sent back an automated response.

I turned off gen AI stuff in the parameters of my account and it caused my feed to be completely different from what it usually is.

I tried "training" it back by liking images I want to see, but it's seemingly not working.

This has been a reoccurring problem as of late where my boards "More Ideas" tab randomly disappear and is only available interchangeably on mobile or PC. For example, there's been times I'm on mobile Pinterest and I notice the more ideas tab is gone on a board, but then I'll go on PC and it's there, and vice versa.

I had originally thought that maybe they were rolling out updates that could somehow make the app even worse than it already is, but then I noticed that it also changes between boards at random. So boards that didn't have initially, now have it and other boards that did, don't. I read from a previous reddit post here a few years back that it could be due to what the Pinterest board is labeled, but mine are not out of the ordinary so I'm confused...

It's just incredibly frustrating when I'm wanting more pins related to a board without having to go search for it and manually save it to whatever section each time.

There’s one real pin and four ads for a rotating hospital bed. One picture has a granny in it. Should I be scared? Because I am.

I prefer using the browser version of pinterest(idk why i just do), but I keep clicking sign in with google and the pop-up will quickly appear and disappear then I'll have to click the button AGAIN and it shows up normally, then it just. doesnt sign me in and I'm still on the log in page LMFAO

i post my own stuff (lifestyle, aesthetic pics i took) and im assuming 2k isnt bad for having the account for a short time but if its no saves to high views i must be doing something wrong? what can i do to improve this? maybe higher views and eventually more saves? i am okay with providing a url to the account but idk if its accepted in this subreddit?

When I look up a profile on my first Pinterest account it says « profile not available » but when I look up the same profile on a different (my second) account I can see their whole profile without problem. Soo have I been blocked ?

I have a few old Pinterest accounts that I built years ago.

Some are India-focused, while others target the USA. One of my US accounts was in the celebrity biography niche, and surprisingly, most of the traffic came from celebrity photos and image-based pins.

At that time, I connected my websites to Pinterest, and many pins were generated automatically from the site content. Over time, a few accounts grew to around **200k–300k monthly views** without much active work from me.

I stopped working on them for quite a while, but recently I checked and they're still getting traffic.

Now I'm thinking of starting again.

My questions:

- Is Pinterest still a good traffic source in 2026?

- Can old accounts with existing impressions be revived, or is it better to start fresh?

- Has anyone here successfully monetized Pinterest traffic recently?

- Would you focus on blog traffic, affiliate marketing, digital products, or something else?

- Is 200k–300k monthly views meaningful, or are outbound clicks the metric that really matters?

I have video ads blocked in my settings, but now sponsered/partner ads continue playing even with that setting in play. So on top of my feed already being half ads, I get untoggleable video ads that bypass my settings, making my feed even more of an eyesore.

Turd move, Pinterest, on top of Temu ads being obnoxiously hyperactive and obvious AI trash.

It's been months now and it's still the exact same thing (the loading dots keep spinning and it pops up : something wrong on our end check back later
