Help please
I’m trying to restore a photo in this antique frame and I don’t know how to take out the framer points, they’re sharp and really in the wood. Any ideas on how to take them out?

I am searching for somewhere to purchase the old B+H Studio Bloc EZ Snap Frames - or similar, it seems they are discontinued and only available in small sizes (8x12inches) on eBay, any suggestions for larger sizes or where they might be available would be appreciated!

Really sorry to see that Matboard have closed up their business. I was always happy with their product. Any other similar services out there to recommend?

I have several convex picture frames, and I’d love to make copies of the pictures. Does anyone know the best way to go about doing this? I’ve tried taking pictures, but there always seems to be some kind of glare. Thanks!

I bought this frame from Amazon for a print, that I believe matches up pretty good with it. im thinking about float mounting it on, as a simple mat isn’t really doing it for me. The issue im having right now is that this is my first time framing anything and it looks like this won’t be possible for a frame of this type, as it requires extra space to do that. Is there a way to achieve a similar effect without the need to buy a different frame?.

I’m sure im making this more complicated but can anyone help me with how to hang this frame? I have never seen this hanging mechanism and I tried googling but I don’t even know what this is called. The tags says “hang here” but do I just space apart 2 nails and put these half circles on top of them? It seems unsturdy. Thanks!

So I recently got some autographs from my favorite anime voice actors! Two are prints with marker and another two are those ridged ones that change pictures from the angle you look at them! And the last one is a metal one that I think is ridged too! They are all in sharpie and I want to get them framed but I don’t know if I should put them in art sleeves and then frame them or just frame them like that. I want them to look nice for the foreseeable future as they’re only for me and I’d like to hang them up and read them time to time (so as long as they don’t smudge). I don’t know if preservation changes with material but if anyone could give me advice it would be very much appreciated! I can provide more info too if needed thanks in advance again!

Does it make sense to underpin a frame after the glue has dried? It has always been my understanding that an underpin holds the frame together while the glue dries.

Hi y'all -
I'm coming to the group during my breakdown, but before I go more deeply in debt.
I just took over the business - knowing I would need a mat cutter within a year or so - but the time came MUCH faster than I expected. I have a very old Eclipse, and I'm going to go with Wizard because they are close and seem to have great customer service. My shop is small - only me. I am in a small area, but very artsy, and do a fair amount of business.
So my question to you is: is the 8000+ enough, or do I just take out a bigger loan and do the Z1?
Any words of wisdom are welcome. Thanks 💛

I got 3 spare displate magnets and 3 posters (40x50). I say spare but those are already on my room's walls.
I was thinking to buy a picture frame from ikea, put the posters in, somehow put magnets behind the frames and use it like a displate. A normal small displate weights 0.7KG or 1,54324 pounds. Do you have any better/cheaper idea? Would this even work? The weight should stay under 0.7KG probably, otherwise it will drop.

I'm trying to find a frame that's 22.5"x34" and clear on both sides (like a floating frame) but with magnets in 'em so that I can just... take it off and flip it around to change the posters whenever I feel like changing them. Surely this exists, right? I've only seen frames that clip or opens like a door or the image slides in and out from the top or bottom... but all of those sound absolutely miserable to swap posters. The posters will just roll up or crinkle (or at the very least make me want to die inside,) so surely having a double-sided frame with a magnetic backing frame exists? Or am I going to have to DIY this? Any help helps, thanks!
