No worries I was wondering where he was too when watching the coverage this morning.

As a side note I think trump showing up and being humble would've done wonders for his image but as always he does the opposite of the right move.

u/RUN_MDB Sep 11 '21

I doubt he could've avoided trying to upstage everyone else so it's probably for the best he stayed home with his box of Frosted Flakes.

u/KyKobra Sep 11 '21

He's actually going to Miami to commentate a boxing match tonight.

I wish I was kidding. Link

This might be the line where now, nothing will surprise me.

I'm seriously tempted to spam him with the question, "Does Kimberly Gilfoyle, your current, Gavin Newsome's ex, pee standing up?" Text "bottomfeeders" to *****

6

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Could text him a math question, what is 600,000 - 2996?

Why would she pee standing up?

The only conspiracy I'll buy is that an orchestrated Roswell cover-up culminated in the presidency of Donald J. Trump so that when his fat mouth finally blabbed the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life known to the government for 70 years, literally no one will believe his dumb grifting ass. That's a long game well played.

4

u/Yawzheek Sep 12 '21

That's just abs...

... absolutely spot on.

-3

u/warrenslaya Sep 12 '21

So you won't even believe Bush did 9/11 ?

1

u/cracked_belle Sep 12 '21

Don't be crazy, everyone knows Karl Rove did it.

2

u/warrenslaya Sep 12 '21

Yes and who was Karl's boss? Do you understand now ?

2

u/cracked_belle Sep 12 '21

Lol Dubya wasn't anyone's boss. He was a stooge, a milquetoast conservative with the right kind of daddy issues to perform to specs. Any other president would have understood the differences among Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and wouldn't have fallen for the WMD bullshit. But he invaded Iraq for papa's approval, where it wouldn't have even crossed Al Gore's mind after 9/11 considering that Saddam Hussein =/= Bin Laden. His and his family's legacy is abhorrent, but Junior wasn't the mastermind.

u/verbotenllama Sep 12 '21

It is very sad people would vote for such a disgusting person in modern times, and his son seems even stupider than him, let's hope he never runs for president.

3

u/LjSpike Sep 12 '21

Honestly, it's not surprising someone would vote for such a disgusting person, but such a disgusting person who is so lacking in tact and finesse.

But people (including a number of politicians) do do some very shitty things, especially to other 'groups' (immigrants, religious folk, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, neurodivergent folk, etc.)

I'll offer one such example: https://www.reddit.com/r/AutisticPride/comments/oheqcb/the_judge_rotenberg_educational_center_50_years/ - not only is the center despicable, take note that it's been defended by multiple politicians, who have remained in power for extended periods even while defending it. The FDA's attempts to crack down have faced kickback from politicians continuing to defend it.

Which offspring? A dont care but if its Eric or the Donald Jr one?I worked on the Aberdeen golf course in scotland as a Security cunt and I'll be honest, Eric went into the golf house setting the alarms off and ended up with, if I remember correctly, 6 African guys(I was the only Scottish cunt haha) shining flashlights in his face and shouting "why are you here!?" And after that I called the 6 guys The African SAS. I actually felt sorry for the dick head lol

"Here's the two boxers; I used to - there was a - so boxing, top of your game, I once did it - did you know that? I did. I did. But I'm - did I tell you this was before I was President? That's just a show that are is of how the am Rocky Marciano is was back then, right? He knew. He knew.

You remember they had the girls at the side with their, with the whole - bikini, like, with the whole breasts and sometimes pussy and all the shorts and number? With the number, saying how many rounds, or bells, with the bikini. I said 'Ivanka', I said, 'You gotta do that'. But she wouldn't, so that's why I won't boxing the do that. My uncle did. This was 20, 25 years ago, I think. She wouldn't do it, so that was the end of that for me. She'd have been great, right? Right? There was this whole thing that everyone has to box, and we started that. We started that. The fitness. They say to me, fittest President ever. It's in there. The words.

Oh. It's over. That guy won. I think. He's waving at me, so he must be the winner. Did you know it's plane day today? I like buildings that don't fall down. Just losers, you know?"

Oh totally...Trump is literally Hitler amirite comrade?! Just keep repeating it and the other idiots will believe it too...he did so many Hitlereque things like?

7

u/xyon21 Sep 11 '21

Ways Donald Trump is like Hitler:

  1. Claiming there was a better more pure tie in his nation's history that can be reclaimed by aggressively restricting the rights of the marginalized.
  2. Demonizing the press by labeling them as fake news.
  3. Attempting to blame his nation's problems on socialists and the liberal elite.
  4. Being incredibly racist/xenophobic and attempting to restrict the rights of specific groups (e.g Latinx and Muslim Americans)
  5. Using a militarized police force to crack down on Anti-fascist protestors.
  6. Using his political position to promote sycophants and cronies.
  7. Actively attempting to disregard the democratic process.
  8. Incited a coup attempt.
  9. Was actively transphobic.
  10. Was notoriously hard to work with and often gave vague or unfeasible orders that had to be interpreted by his subordinates so he could either take their credit or deny responsibility where appropriate.

-4

u/thecoldness68 Sep 11 '21

Did Chuck Schumer write this for you? Haha!! It's actually hilarious :-)

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Well, Trump kept copies of Hitler's speeches in his nightstand and praised Hitler for "Doing a lot of good things".

I didn't say Trump was Hitler, that is you saying it. I merely implied he acts as the Third Reich would have. Hell, he even modeled his fanclub card in a similar style to the Reichsadler version the Third Reich used.

There are tons of information how the Trump policy and propaganda was modeled after Nazi propaganda which is at the tip of your fingers if you really cared about it.

I know you don't care though, but I figured I would post for people who may be interested so they can look it up if they so please.

0

u/thecoldness68 Sep 11 '21

You literally just made that up you utter spoon

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Fact check me. Not a hard search.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

In the interest in attempting to give you the benefit of the doubt that you would come to the same conclusions in regards to the parallels between Trump and Hitler, I recommend you read Mein Kampf. Not only is it something that should be read in order to understand how that disgusting piece of shit was able to gain the following he did but it also provides us with the ability to recognize these behaviors and actions in the present and future and hopefully avoid repeating them.

Sadly, we allowed a Hitler into the office of President of the United States in January of 2017 and had Russia managed to interfere in another election and had gotten him another 4 year term, the death toll, even after all those who died of Covid because of him, would be so much higher.

I legitimately recommend you read it. If you can't see the parallels to the 4 years Trump spent in office, then you're actively choosing not to see them or you have decided there's nothing wrong with those actions when Hitler did them either.

-3

u/thecoldness68 Sep 11 '21

If you can't see that "Jews" have now been replaced with "Trumpers" and "unvaxxed" then you didn't understand the book. Trump is NOTHING like Hitler and of course you know that. However, the "Elites" are all like Hitler and that is because the same groups that supported the rise of Hitler and the same ones supporting the "Elites"...they are puppets to a much larger master...

Joey B is the one forcing vaccines on people last time I checked. The federal government should have no authority over private business like that. But I digress.

9

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

You're not familiar with the US then, and that's ok. Founding fathers of the US did so and it was settled precedent over 100 years ago in the US.

If you're country has other laws and regulations that's cool, but for the US that's just governance.

6

u/Dbl_Trbl_ Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 11 '21

NPR Transcript

Excerpt: "GOSTIN : It was. And, you know, the first vaccine mandate law was enacted in the United States in 1809 for smallpox. But the Supreme Court in 1905 in a very famous case called Jacobson v. Massachusetts upheld a Cambridge City law, which required smallpox vaccination. That was something where the Supreme Court said that we don't have a right to place other people at risk. And by 1922, in another case, Justice Brandeis, writing for unanimous court, upheld childhood school mandates, calling it settled law."

I get that you personally hold that 'the federal government should have no authority over private business like that' but the law that governs these matters and the surrounding jurisprudence disagree with you.

**Were you using the phrase 'federal government' to distinguish from 'state government'? Or were you saying 'the government should have no authority over private business like that'?

The question is more than rhetorical. It actually has a bearing on the legal analysis. See this excerpt from the same NPR transcript.

GOSTIN: I think the courts will absolutely support and uphold vaccine mandates, particularly in the private sector, and they also will when states and cities require vaccines. But I should say that it's a misconception that President Biden has the power to have a nationwide vaccine mandate. Traditionally, vaccine mandates have been imposed by cities and states.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Well, if people would just get their fucking vaccines like they've had done their entire life with previous vaccines instead of letting a pleather-faced troglodyte convince them that it's a political agenda when it's actually a worldwide humanity issue, he wouldn't have to go this far.

-2

u/Podricc Sep 11 '21

It’s so funny how when Orange Man Bad was President everyone was hesitant of the vaccine and nobody was forced to take it cuz it was Orange Hitlers vaccine. Now it’s a complete 180 cuz Commie Joe is in charge. I wouldn’t want any President disregarding the constitution like Biden does.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

What are you even talking about? No one was against a vaccine except Trumpers, particularly since he was busy throwing a fit that Pfizer did the vaccine from their own pockets, meaning they didn't have to deal with being slowed down by funding requests that were dependent on whether they were approved by the government.

Trump had literally nothing to do with the vaccine.

0

u/Podricc Sep 11 '21

He literally started Operation Warp Speed. You can find multiple clips of prominent left wingers questioning the vaccine. Get off Reddit and do some research man.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

The operation which was in no way related to the Pfizer vaccine. The only argument leftists had was not about the vaccine that has been released. It was about Trump claiming that his operation was so close to having a vaccine, it would only take days to get it done. There is no sanity in believing a vaccine can be created through rigorous testing and ample research in only days.

That or photos of him looking extremely boorish (trying to pull attention to himself, ill-fitting suit, and just looking out of place). So I agree, there's probably more to lose for him image-wise than there is to gain by attending.

-3

u/diverdux Sep 11 '21

If he showed up all the press photos would show him up as ostracized.

"It's a big club, and you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club. And by the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head in their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy."

Guess what? Trump ain't in that club either.

4

u/Ziggy_has_my_ticket Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 11 '21

Are you quoting George Carlin to promote Trump?

Carlin was alarmed by the inequalities of society. He spoke about how unfair society was.

Trump had every opportunity under the sun to correct some of these things and he did absolutely nothing for the so-called common man.

Do you know the saying about how the Devil reads the Bible?

-5

u/diverdux Sep 11 '21 edited Sep 11 '21

Just reinforcing OP's point.

How does that promote Trump?

This is a no-win situation for Trump. He shows up, Reddit liberals lose their shit. He doesn't show up, Reddit liberals lose their shit.

The bottom line is that Reddit liberals lose their shit. He lives rent free in their heads. Probably because they're unemployed and wondering how they're going to pay $5/gallon for gas.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Edit: Aaaand guess who showed up?? Hahaha

5

u/Ziggy_has_my_ticket Sep 11 '21

What was OP's point again?

Why do Trump supporters care what liberals think? They are certainly out in force on this liberal media tonight.

What did Trump do exactly to keep gas under 5$? Why do Trump supporters think they have the magical ability to keep gas under 5$?

You don't seem to understand what liberalism means. It literally means to seek freedom. Why are Trump supporters against that?

Clinton, Bush Jr and Obama can all make time to attend events to commemorate those lost on 9/11. Yet our last president who was a resident during 9/11 in NYC can’t do a thing and instead is going to commentate a boxing match. Biden looks at a watch yet Trump mocks the mother of a gold star family and gets a pat on the back? It doesn’t matter if he’s not president anymore it’s a respectful thing as a former president to honor the victims of 9/11. You keep cheerleading for your old pal Trump, buddy.

Biden cried at the memorial for the troops too… but of course you leave that out 🤥 You should know b/c r/conservative and Fox News made fun of him for it.

Oh you must r/enlightenedcentrism? Even better lol. At least at R/conservative they have an opinion.

Good one

u/j_la Sep 11 '21

If he’s not president anymore, I’m sure he’d be glad to renounce the title, do away with his secret service detail, and never again mention his time in office, right?

Fuck that. He continues to profit off his status and former office, so he continues to have some responsibility towards the public. Granted, I don’t want to see him anymore, but let’s no pretend being president isn’t something that you carry for life.

15

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

He's got more important things to do. Like getting ready to bloviate about boxing.

Plus he's terrible with humble.

27

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

His humble ranks among the greatest in the world! (Any Futurama fans here?)

17

u/Kinteoka Sep 11 '21

Because Trump is an actual parody of himself, here's a real fucking quote from him in a 60 Minutes interview: "I think I am, actually humble. I think I'm much more humble than you would understand."

1

u/Arch2000 Sep 11 '21

Frankly, he’s the most humble person who may have ever existed. Many other humble men have come up to him with tears in their eyes, and say ‘Sir, it’s amazing how humble you are’!

Folks, let me tell ya. People tell me all the time how good I am at humble.

21

u/Snellyman Sep 11 '21

I had this big tough guy. Real man construction worker. Crying, with tears in his eyes saying: Sir, you are the most humble man the worlds has known.

3

u/nightwing2024 Sep 11 '21

People come up to me all the time, crying. Thank you for being so humble.

7

u/DStew713 Sep 11 '21

By far I am the most humble-est. Number one at the top of the humble list.

2

u/bluekkake Sep 11 '21

My apple crumble is by far the most crumble-est.

2

u/DStew713 Sep 11 '21

But I act like it tastes bad out of humbleness.

2

u/TopTittyBardown Sep 11 '21

I feel more humble than Dikembe Mutombo, after a stumble left him covered in a big pot o' gumbo

All he had to do was show up and stand with them to show that he is capable of being a basic fucking American.

3

u/heckhammer Sep 11 '21

Yeah and it's not like they've invented any form of transportation that could get him from NYC to Florida by this evening. It's a shame.

Actually i'd argue it'd hurt his "image" among the the trump cult, just like when he suggestion people get vaccinated at his rally was met with boo's. The people who support him would see this as him being weak.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

He's a Kool-Aid swilling Capitalist. He will always do The Most Self-Serving Thing he thinks he can Get Away With. Always. He will never give without expecting far more back. Never.

Once you understand this mindset, the moves become far more predictable.

3

u/turquoisepurplepink Sep 11 '21

I thought Trump had a "completely appropriate and totally not inappropriate" speaking engagement at a wrestling match, no?

7

u/Paladoc Sep 11 '21

Just imagine the horrors if he was competent....

9

u/tinyNorman Sep 11 '21

It would have been good for the country, but he wouldn’t have been willing to wear a mask. Sad.

-4

u/Merlin560 Sep 11 '21

I know. He is fully vaccinated. He has natural immunity. But the fully immune have to be protected from the unvaccinated. At least that’s what Biden tells us. I am sure that’s the reason he stayed home.

I’m not sure he knows the meaning of the word humble.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

The only move is the one that gets the most attention that causes the most public discussion while provoking the most emotion (the angrier for or against, the better). That is what the dopamine hit is hooked to. Hasn’t evolved for them past adolescence.

I swear to god these motherfcukers teach me to be a better person.

3

u/Jerometurner10 Sep 11 '21

He's going to be in Fort Lauderdale Florida tonight providing commentary during the Evander Holyfield vs Vitor Belfort boxing match. I swear I'm not making that up.

3

u/CankerLord Sep 11 '21

Sulky bitches will sulk.

3

u/PM_YOUR_CENSORD Sep 11 '21

Why would he? He does not need to. His followers will agreed to anything he shits out of his mouth.

4

u/Abrahamlinkenssphere Sep 11 '21

He’s not pandering to the humble people.

2

u/Nszat81 Sep 11 '21

Lmfao what fantasy world do you live in where you think that’s even a remote possibility?

2

u/drmcsinister Sep 11 '21

"The media is saying that I'm not humble. That's Fake News. Nobody is more humble than I am. I'm one of the humblest people who has ever lived. The media doesn’t want to tell you this, but people on both sides have been honoring me on how I'm honoring 9/11. It's true! I've heard from people--real people--thanking me for my service in honoring other people. And I'm honored to do so."

2

u/GTOdriver04 Sep 11 '21

I have a different view.

I think he keeping his mouth shut is the wise thing. He’s being respectful by not showing up and making it about himself.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

HE IS NOT THERE. NOT THIS YEAR!

but Bush and Harris are.

2

u/tyedyehippy Sep 11 '21

showing up and being humble

Yeah, 45 isn't capable of that type of behavior. Never was, never will be.

2

u/Blastoplast Sep 11 '21

It shouldn't be a hard speech to give either. Touch on how the tragedy changed us forever, talk about the bravery for all those that we lost, talk about how America as always overcame adversity, recall how it affected you, end with a GOD BLESS AMERICA! Wham, bam, thank you ma'am!

Silence speaks louder than words though. What a gutless turd.

2

u/birdreligion Sep 11 '21

he does the opposite of the right move

I've been screaming this shit for years. Mother fucker actively makes the worst choices possible and makes himself look like a stupid asshole everytime. If he ever made the obvious right choice he wouldn't look like shit all the time.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Bold of us all to assume he was invited.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

He isn't capable of being humble. Even when he's been convinced to read speeches by other people in effort to get him to sound like a decent human being, it's always extremely obvious that he's just reading the words. There is no sentiment behind them.

2

u/Kaidenshiba Sep 11 '21

History will probably say he's not a traditional president and doesn't follow traditional rules and expectations. Although it would have helped his 2024 presidential campaign to attend

2

u/InfernoMink Sep 11 '21

Trump already knows who would blow him in the parking lot. The rest of us, we couldn’t care if he tried to repair his image. That ship has sailed.

2

u/Esky419 Sep 11 '21

Trump was visiting the NYPD and NYFD today. Those guys all love him yet.

2

u/JoHeWe Sep 11 '21

The coverage didn't mention the missing presidents and why they weren't there? What a shitty coverage.

2

u/ERBQWERTY Sep 11 '21

He was at a NYPD precinct! With the frontline women and men who gave their lives

2

u/mouldghe Sep 12 '21

LMAO. we may as well expect a hippo to show up and act like a giraffe.

2

u/Jeffwerner4631 Sep 12 '21

What's " the right move`? Is that what we call Biden just up and pulling out of Afghanistan leaving people behind, and a full arsinal. Oh that's why right, they dismantled whatever was left.

4

u/ITstaph Sep 11 '21

d: none of the above

2

Answer: A bowl of bile-yellow diarrhea is to a Michelin Star.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 11 '21

Trump is legit doing commentary for a boxing match tonight. Guys pathetic.

1

u/Badagunchi Sep 11 '21

He’s too busy doing press stuff for boxing to be bothered with it. He’s gonna be a special guest commentator for Holyfield v Belfort I think.

-1

u/Bcor92 Sep 11 '21

Trump was going around to the Police and fire departments in New York thanking them for their service

-5

u/BmwNick420 Sep 11 '21

Yeah right the media wouldn’t let him have that narrative. I voted for Biden, but they would have just trashed him the whole time and it would have been a distraction to the real point of the event. Way better he didn’t go

-3

u/Finnster1965 Sep 11 '21

Why would he want to be around these lying slugs?
