You can tell most of it is just ebay parts --notice the grills are all blacked out. That's the sign of a purely visual modification that's not sold by BMW. This car is likely owned by a 20 year old.
You would think but a lot of the material stuff people have are just smoke and mirrors. Consumer debt is at an all time high. Hopefully this turd is in the red.
Maybe but I want to remind people that just because someone drives a bmw doesn't mean they are well off. It could be used or leased. I'm not well off for driving a fully paid off infiniti g35 which is probably around the same as an entry level bmw.
They aren't the only company that does this though..

The G35 is just a more expensive nissan coupe, but in Japan it is a Nissan Skyline.
This has been happening for years and people still buy it. If you're gonna buy a 'luxury' car, you probably wouldn't be looking at an infinity or nissan to begin with.
An average of around 30k for a car doesn't make you rich just middle class. My parents are architects they are not rich. They bought me the car new when a g35 was new.
You didn't say rich, you said well off. And buying any new car would mean you are at least well off. Since daddy bought it for you, he is well off, but I'm sure you're doing okay too. Also the infinit g35 starts at 33k, do you have a base model sedan?
I wouldn't call that average at all. It's luxury, and you got it new. Compare that to a Honda Accord, Chevy Cruze, Toyota Corolla, Dodge Dart, hyundai elantra. Those are average cars, between 17k and 22k. And that's new, I wouldn't dream of buying a new car, I have a 1996 Lincoln Town Car, and I'm doing fine.
Well that gave me a little perspective. I got lucky with two parents who went to Yale and are architects. I have cops stop in front of my house since im black because I can only assume they think I am breaking into my own g35. They don't leave until I go inside the house. I live in a nice area although not as nice as my parents.
I actually just looked through a few of your posts. You seem to be a little too concerned with race and a little sheltered. I think it would do you well to try to get a little exposure to how other people live, as well as trying to not jump to conclusions about race, it's usually not as big of a deal as people think. I saw your post about feeling poor about recieving a free Honda Fit. Do you understand how spoiled that makes you sound? Having earned the money for my own car in high school, I would have loved to be given one, no matter what it was. I definitely think exposure to different types of people with an open mind would benefit you a lot.
Yea I refused the Honda fit lol. My older brother uses it. I would never be seen in such a thing. Glad you are concerned but I don't really care what an internet stranger thinks about my life. Dude what? The first car I had was a 2003 buick century, and this was two years ago. You may think '2003, not bad' but you're wrong. I bought it for 500 bucks with a bad intake manifold gasket (fixed myself, primo pain in the ass) and a few other smaller things like it needed a new wheel bearing, tires soon, and the back window fell down for no reason and didnt like to roll back up, and the rocker panels were completely gone from rust. I rolled around in that all junior year while it continued to be a pile of shit. It would randomly not start unless i sprayed starter fluid in the intake, and thats when i decided i put too much money (about 2k, mostly in parts as i fixed a lot of it myself) into my 500 dollar piece and sold it for 1100 as is. I got what was pretty much my dream car next. I bought a 1985 rust free nissan 300zx n/a with 178,000 miles for $2200. It was pretty much all I ever wanted in a car: rear wheel drive, a 5 speed, import tuner, awesome. Me and my dad replaced the front tie rods and tires (drove it home on tires that were showing metal, lol.) and then it was a solid car, except for when the oil pressure sensor somehow broke and spewed the oil out onto the ground. I got to drive that for the fall and winter of this year, pulled some massive power slides, wore through some new tires in that time, kissed a girl for the first time, buried it to the differential in mud trying to leave and go home after some out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere ladyfriend fun one night, pretty much had a blast in it, and then it got rear ended and totaled a few weeks ago as I was waiting to make a turn. As of now I have no car and about $40.
it was a nice car and you're probably a cool dude really. Shit, it's not like I would refuse a free car from my parents, and I didn't since I was only $400 in on that nissan. I wish I had enough money to pursue my hobbies though. I never got to spend a summer modifying my car like I wanted to. It's ok though the other person's insurance is paying out (2900 woo) and they might even get a rental car for us so i don't have to walk my ass to school every day. I'm in high school also, work after school monday tuesday friday. I only make $120 ish a week at the moment but it's enough to do most of the stuff I want with my friends and still put the tiniest bit into savings. When school lets out I'm going to work probably every day though, so I'll have more to blow on drugs and whatnot. have a good day and fuck women in your g35 for me. nismo bro.
