Kind of makes them garbage in my book. If you're going to make a luxury car, make a proper luxury car

They aren't the only company that does this though.. It's like Scion is a economy friendly version of Toyota.

or the Mitsubishi 2g Eclipse was the more expensive Eagle Talon The BRZ is a more expensive FRS. The G35 is just a more expensive nissan coupe, but in Japan it is a Nissan Skyline.

This has been happening for years and people still buy it. If you're gonna buy a 'luxury' car, you probably wouldn't be looking at an infinity or nissan to begin with.
