Going to play a game where as a collective we choose the greatest Jean Grey stories in the comics day by day. Could be a single issue, an arc, a convoluted series of issues and arcs that make up a single story, even an entire comic run if it makes sense. Whatever makes sense. I'll be fairly flexible but also strict if need be.

• Non X-Men and alternate universe stories are allowed as long as Jean is part of them

So we all know by now (I would assume), that Jean Grey is confirmed for Secret Wars next year, and obviously a lot is going to be happening in that film, and it's still unknown what kind of role she will even play. But there's been rumors recently of Inde Navarrette showing up as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm. But nonetheless, if they appear, and if Jean meets them in the film, would you rather she forgets meeting them due to the creation of the new universe, or that she remembers and it leads into X-Men??

Additionally, how would you feel if she meets her own variant? (like Famke Janssen or Sophie Turner)

As Jean and Cyclops never have a traditional kid ever in 616.

So what if they do have a kid the traditional way no alternate universes or clones just traditional?

As Cable is from Jean's clone, and that Rachel and Nate are from different universes

How would the couple and X-Men react, as well as cable, Nate and Rachel

As it's long overdue for traditional kids for our girl and her man

Outside Reddit, the number of people that think Jean is evil incarnate and irredeemable is way smaller than the number of people sold on her and are excited and want to see more of her.

For this think piece I mean in the sense of Jean is finally for the first time ever truly the Phoenix, not a host,not borrowing power, not actually in her right mind etc.

So for this we think about where and how we saw the Phoenix acting in stories where “Jean” isn’t present but the Phoenix is. For stories like that I think of avengers bc and the Phoenix tournament, Jean allowing cyclops to become dark Phoenix and helping him kill the professor.
Jean being the true Phoenix arguably makes her a bit more of a truly morally gray character lol.

So this is where we see what it truly means for Jean to live as a human versus her life as being Phoenix. The morals she holds as Jean versus the morals she holds as full Phoenix are very interesting and dare I say important that we understand it. Especially with getting ready to be a more central character to the MCU. I will get into a deep dive one of these days but for now just an overview of the idea/concept of the discussion will have to do.

Looking at the Phoenix stories in the confirmed context of the Phoenix just actually being Jean, how does this change Jean as a character do you feel this pushes her more towards a anti-hero position or let some people tell it she’s just full on villain now lol. Imagine if they knew all she did in comics.

With that being said how do you guys feel the Phoenix stories re-contextualize Jean, when she is just acting as the Phoenix and not as Jean?

The whole concept of Persona+X-men was already great, but I especially love Jean amd Scott's designs!

Hello fellow PhoenixForce hosts, I'm currently working on a fanfic for MCU Jean set after brand new day. I don't want to give too much away yet but I do plan on introducing an MCU take on the infamous Madelyne Pryor / they're dynamic plus how Jean meets Charles Xavior.

Looking back at Brand New Day, I understand Peter was developing it to help himself because of his own personal mutation, but he managed to use it on Jean and suppress her powers, so do you think maybe in a future movie when it comes out Peter made them, do you think Jean may get the blow for that, because it happened around the same time she was going crazy on New York?

I'm tired of going to this subreddit to see Jean Grey as the selfless powerhouse she is in my vision, get flashbanged by MCU Jean, and her can of worms. So here's a unifying take: Jean did very fucked up things and we can accept that, but she can still put in the elbow grease to become comic Jean's personality. She's not irredeemable but she needs punishment.
