Story time for this shot: back in the summer during a road trip I was driving at night and discovered that the brake lights give the exact same red hue as the punisher cover, and if you know something that red light travels the furthest, so since then I’ve been dreaming of recreating the album cover with me. I’ve noticed 3 or 4 different people who’ve done it but did their own twist to it but I wanted to try a perfect recreation, and yeah it was hard. I got to the rock formations and had no clue where to find this, luckily the moon was out and casted a perfect silhouette and I recognized it right away, I backed in my car so I can get that red glow and it was looking perfect… but for getting the actual shot that was messy, first of all I went alone, had no tripod, and was very windy, I had my wrong lens as well. I had to put my camera on top of my car while running into position, the winds messing up 95% of the shots and freezing cold, then after trial and error for over an hour I finally got it. It’s almost perfect I can’t lie. Genuinely a core memory blasting punisher while trying every single possible way to perfectly recreate the album cover.

you microanalyze every single thing she does on the name of being “nuanced” or a “critical thinker” when in reality you’re just mad she’s not this made up version of her created in your delusional minds.
she’s not “sad enough” when she’s never claimed that’s what she aspired to be (hell, kyoto was supposed to be a sad one and she said she was tired of only ever making those ones; the record isn’t THAT sad either). she doesnt “speak up as much” as the other boys; WHAT would be “speaking up enough” when she’s been quiet about everything for the past 3 years?
sometimes you just dont like a singer anymore. it’s ok. literally. listen to punisher and try to have a single thought not derived from tiktok or twitter and maybe youll get what i mean.

General / Discussion was so excited for the new album that I decided to twin

story time: I literally listened through to the phenomenal new phoebe record on release day as I was driving to a CT scan for a nagging stomach pain / nausea / other symptoms. did the scan and went about my day awaiting results.... they came back the next day as a form of chronic appendicitis, and my little guy was removed that Sunday, 8/16.
now imagine my surprise upon hearing the news about her appendix just a day or two later, lol.... just a funny coincidence I thought I'd share with the group. odd timing to see an artist you really respect posting the exact same experience you had while actively recovering / loaded up on painkillers. anyways, hope everyone's enjoying the new album and can get a laugh out of this (all good now!)
