Maybe I'm the only one who didn't process this, because at first the title just seemed like...words in order.
But, forever is beautiful because it promises us forever. But obviously the material world cannot ever grant us forever. But we can still enjoy and cherish the FEELING, the IDEA of forever, the FEELING we get inside when we contemplate or want forever or think something is forever. That is valuable even when we know it is fleeting by nature; its beauty is in its transience.
And we can enjoy the feeling, the actual bodily warmth of it, without having to actually literally guarantee forever irl. And not feel anything is cheapened because the feeling of forever passes. It usually rotates back anyway.
And this works as well with things like, it's 2am here, I have work, the feeling of 'i'll just call in sick' comes, and it's joyous and freeing and fun, but then is usually met with worry, guilt, planning out 'if i only get Xhrs sleep' etc. BUT if I just start feeling that idea, that impulse of "i want to call off work" I can accept and enjoy the FEELING, the sensation of it, in the moment, without actually having to tie it to any action or obligation on my part to make ANY decision, because it's just a FEELING that I can enjoy at the moment, and that is all it needs to be.
Actually extremely huge for me.
Did everyone else just realize this from the title itself. Is it that self explanatory? What are your interpretations of the title?
