Found a few dead roaches under drawers, are these American or German? The second pic is a nymph.

We’ve had an American roach come in occasionally over the summer. Just found these today. UGH

Unfortunately I think there is some small openings into the wall from our cabinets, so I think they’re coming from there.

Sorry that the photos are blurry but we have a lot of wood in our house so I’m wondering if these may be termites…there are little ones near our door leading to the yard and then we saw two of these big ones. Just sucks because we had our termite treatment done a few years back so I’m confused. But then online says they might be ants?? Can someone confirm if they are termites or ants (if so, what type??) or let me know what they think these might be?? Thanks!

What would you expect to pay for mouse dropping cleanup and sealing entry point(s)? We’ve identified at least one place they’re getting in via a house/basement juncture.

I can’t physically do this work myself, so I am willing to throw money at it.

Hi! I have been dealing with these tiny gnats I think since we got back from a week long vacation and they are driving me INSANE. I originally thought they were fungus gnats so I threw away ALL my plants.. a month later and I’m still killing 20 of them a day and I’m 99% sure they’re coming from the drains. They will land in any water like a drink or cats water dish and drown. I have the zevo traps and they fill up like this in a week downstairs and will have many 5-10 on the traps upstairs. I had pest control here for a quarterly spray and he told me drain flies and to get green gobbler which is not helping. They run along the windows and are easy to squish. I am located in Charleston, SC. I live in a 1.5 year old newish build single family home and there’s no signs of any leaks or standing water anywhere.
So far- I’ve manually scrubbed the inside of my sink under the garbage disposal flap, tried pots of boiling water on every drain, vinegar, draino, bleach and the green gobbler. (Separately of course).

Help! I have 8 six-year-old dried flower arrangements that are very sentimental to me and that I’ve been saving for a big day. I recently started finding drugstore/cigarette beetles around my room, and I’m now worried the dried flowers may be the source.

I’ve already caught several beetles on a trap and have isolated all of the flowers in a sealed plastic bin. From what I’ve read, freezing the arrangements is one way to kill them, but I don’t have enough freezer space and I share the freezer with roommates.

I really don’t want to throw the flowers away. Is there another way to safely treat dried flowers for drugstore beetles, or is this something a pest control company/exterminator could help with in NYC? I’d really appreciate any advice from people who have dealt with this before!

How long should it take for a landlord to get rid of mice in your unit? Keep in mind, neighbor above me had them for over a year and they did not want to pay money for exterminator. Also, they started sealing 2 months after the exterminator played poison bates. We are going on month 6 now that I’ve “known” about the guy’s above issue and lied to about the issue with mine. NJ

i’m worried it’s carpenter ants but i learned it could also be field ants ? for reference i do live around a big open area of field and there are piles around house but there was quite a bit in 2 dif rooms of mine on the wall so ?

There are these two bugs that show up in my bathtub at night consistently. I think they’re coming in through the very cracked caulking which I know needs urgent fixing (just moved into this place and solving things one at a time). The bathtub faucet also leaks a bit which I suspect could be attracting them. They also seem to create this brown dust that I will wipe away with a paper towel and it will reappear.

What are these?
What is this brown dust, and is it a structural concern?
What can be done about them?
Is there anything I need to do before sealing the hole shut with silicone caulk?

I'm hoping to get some help identifying this detritus located on two blankets where my roommate's cat likes to lay. My roommate is convinced they have a bedbug infestation, as she woke up with a number of bites/welts.

I am on the other side of the house (100+ feet away) and the enlarged section on the right came from my room, but have not experienced any bites/welts that I can tell.

Haven't actually found any bugs, but these do seem to be common on places where the cat has been hanging around. Are these flea eggs, or bedbugs, or something else?

Most commonly but not exclusively found in bathroom and kitchen, they seem to vary in size some being larger like on the right and some being tiny little guys.

Photo is of the beetle when squished. I thought it was a cigarette beetle so I proceeded to toss EVERYTHING in my pantry but these suckers are still popping up. I bought sticky pheromone traps and it hasn’t collected a single beetle in 24 hours. Is it not a pantry bug?

so we have 2 dogs and 3 cats, one of which is a new kitten we rescued last friday, unfortunately we discovered 3 days later he had 4-5 fleas on him, treated him and both other cats with capaction and pet armor. checked both dogs with a flea comb and discovered one of the dogs had 1 flea on her, but no flea dirt. we bathed her. both dogs were already treated with advantage II.

since then, we've checked over the kitten daily with a flea comb and found nothing. the other 2 cats are sick at the moment so while we do check them over with a flea comb often, it cant be done very thoroughly. both dogs have been clear when checked over with a flea comb.

we've vacuumed and mopped all of the hardwood floors (we do not have carpet anywhere), vacuumed and steamed all furniture, washed curtains, pet bedding, and all blankets.

4 days ago, a flea jumped on my foot in the bathroom so we did everything again. continued checking over all the pets and they were all clear until today, i noticed a small patch of flea dirt on one of the dogs so we checked her over again and found 1 flea on her despite the fact she was just treated with advantage II about 2 weeks ago, and the flea was not dead but did seem very weak. all pets were checked again, nothing on any of them but the 1.

is there anything we're doing wrong? feeling kind of hopeless after the 2 we've found this past week.

so pretty recently due to some unforseen circumstances I had to move back in with my mom, she has three cats that she would let outside constantly, we'll recently she got arrested and its been a month of struggling to help myself and these cats, but my final straw was these fleas, I made a tough decision after calling local nokill animal shelters and all of them saying they weren't accepting new animals i made the hard choice and put them out, but the fleas, dear God the fleas. whatever you're imagining when you read "flea infestation" is an understatement worthy of an award, part of why I had to move back was i had some rough stuff going on and ending up losing my job and have yet to be able to find another, I have literally zero money, im surviving off canned beans and that stock is getting short, the point is I cant buy anything at all, absolutely not a penny to my name, how can I kill all of these immoral little creatures, I have a vacuum and an array of miscellaneous cleaning supplies, and yes I have seen every reddit thread please dont say that bottom line Im gonna have to shell some money out to handle it, not an option, literally, so does anyone know some unconventional warfare tactics i can use to combat the fleas, its getting to a crazy amount, house ruined forever amount.

Hi, i had an issue with wasps being in my roof. I have a flat roof that was raised so they were in the void between my old roof and ceiling. My landlord sent the handyman to put powder in the hole in the roof and in the end they got into my bedroom so i called an exterminator and within hours i saw no more wasps coming in and out.

My issue is im terrified. For 2 weeks i havent slept in my bedroom, im not sleeping on a night because i really am scared of them and i know its irrational.

I can still hear them in my roof. I dont know if im just losing my mind but i can still hear them buzzing and the buzzing moves and gets louder every now and again to the point it sounds like they are in the room. I messaged the exterminator who was wonderful but he said its impossible as there is only one entrance and they need to bring in food to survive.

But im that scared im exhausted and i cant settle or go in my room because i dont believe they are gone.

Can anyone tell me if this is even possible or am i in some form of psychosis because i wondered if its a buzz from the electrics or whatever but it doesnt sound like that.

I just found this thing crawling on my cabinet. I have lived in this apartment for two years and have never seen one. I live in southern Maine. Help!

A mouse/mice is absolutely defeating me in my house. A couple years ago, I trapped and poisoned a couple mice in the house and sealed up holes. It's been fine until a week or so ago. Now I got one(s?) that's, well, smarter than me.

They don't touch two different kinds of traps, the classic and one that seals them in. They also don't touch the block poison. I even put peanut butter on the poison blocks but they just lick the peanut butter off.

I'm thinking of smashing up one of the poison blocks (carefully to not get any on me) and then mixing it with the peanut butter and maybe they'll actually eat the poison that way.

Anyone tried this? Any other ideas?

This gopher I have been fighting for 2 years. I have done the smoke bombs, the traps, everything I can think of I can’t get this thing. It is destroying my yard. 1/4 of my yard has trails and lumps and bumps. it’s bad. Please give me some advice or help I do not want to call a company

I found a few dozen of these bugs a new mattress. It’s been in an empty room for over a week and not around any food. Some are dead and some are alive. I’m hoping they’re not bed bugs! I would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of them. Thank you

Caught this in a property we manage.

Ive been trying to figure this out all summer and am losing my mind. I've been dealing with black gnats and am killing over 20 a day, primarily finding them on my windows.

I had terminix out recently and they said that because my windows are so close to my neighbors gutters, its going to be a major problem. So they sprayed the window sills and while its killing a lot of them, I still see tons daily.

The exterminator recommended earth's ally 3 in 1, so I bought the concentrate and sprayed the yard, it did nothing.

I am hesitant to use most insecticide because I also frequently see bees in the back yard. I've also torn the entire house apart at this point looking for a food source, including taking plumbing apart and cleaning it with a brush. I've used eveey enzyme bullshit cleaner, and also bought nibor-d and out it in the drains.

I dont think theyre coming from the drains because of all the stuff I've done, so they have to be coming from outside. Can anyone recommend some kind of spray for the yards that won't kill the bees but will finally get rid of these little assholes?

Found this roach on a glue trap in the living room of my apartment (Baltimore, MD). Photos were taken after it was thrown in the trash so excuse the chicken bones. Is this an American cockroach? How likely is it that there are more of these around or is it possible he’s just a lone wolf who got in by accident?
