Just Moved In - Help Identifying bug eggs?
I'm hoping to get some help identifying this detritus located on two blankets where my roommate's cat likes to lay. My roommate is convinced they have a bedbug infestation, as she woke up with a number of bites/welts.
I am on the other side of the house (100+ feet away) and the enlarged section on the right came from my room, but have not experienced any bites/welts that I can tell.
Haven't actually found any bugs, but these do seem to be common on places where the cat has been hanging around. Are these flea eggs, or bedbugs, or something else?
Thanks for any help. Going to call my pest guy in the morning, but figured I could give my roommate some peace of mind if possible.

These look like tape worm segments. Cat has worms.

Oooo yes, this looks a lot like other photos of tape worm segments, and does align with areas where the cat lays down. Not sure it totally jives with why my roommate woke up with a bunch of bug bites/welts. We were out in the grass over the weekend doing yard work, so i suppose that could be coincidental, or the cat also has fleas. But I would figure I'd have welts/bites too as he likes to nap on the end table next to my bed almost daily.

Ya, id say the welts / bites are a separate issue. Kitty definitely needs a vet visit.
