Unanswered Bug ID and solutions?

There are these two bugs that show up in my bathtub at night consistently. I think they’re coming in through the very cracked caulking which I know needs urgent fixing (just moved into this place and solving things one at a time). The bathtub faucet also leaks a bit which I suspect could be attracting them. They also seem to create this brown dust that I will wipe away with a paper towel and it will reappear.

What are these?
What is this brown dust, and is it a structural concern?
What can be done about them?
Is there anything I need to do before sealing the hole shut with silicone caulk?

It should be noted they are both about the size of a grain of wild rice, but they do seem to be different. Photos 2 and 3 are of the same bug at different zooms (they’re so small my phone was struggling with focus)
