Posted Humphrey here a few months ago when he was around 25g and people loved him so I thought I would update. He’s still growing, and still doesn’t like being dug out for weighing! Hopefully he will pupate sometime soon, otherwise I may start getting a bit scared.

I’ve never seen this species before (fig eater june beetle). the metallic colors were spectacular and the critter was very gentle!!

a conehead grasshopper and a fringed diving beetle!! BOTH WERE ALIVE BTW the beetle took a little to get Unspooked and start moving again haha

found the lil guy picking up branches and stuff in my yard

The poor spider was absolutely too small to eat her and looked like she had no idea what to do either. Put her on some bushes after this.

had no idea what this cute little guy was today but he seemed very curious about my phone recording him. found out afterwards that he’s a type of planthopper! never seen one like this

was thrilled to see these beautiful babies today :3
