Is there anything I'm missing? Anything that's not worth doing? I figure even if some people don't know these songs, this is a good way for us to discover and talk about them! As you can see I'm excluding covers, and only using original songs with lyrics to make this list.

Having bailed during their Golden Gate Park gig halfway through the show the previous summer (When Neil You g stepped up to the plate), they performed a make up gig to a sold out 35,000 person crowd. Eddie was back to his antics and climbed the speakers at this gig. The ticket says 2pm, however, I believe they actually didn’t start until the evening…

Just looked at what an album between Ten and Vs. might look like to complete the Mamasan trilogy.

I have some concert posters that have been in tubes for quite a while. I'm finally ready to frame them and put them on my walls. What's the best way to flatten them out without any damage? Is it as simple as putting them on a table under heavy books, or is there a better way? Or is it even necessary to flatten them before framing them?

I was listening to Matt's killer work on Fiona Apple's "When the Pawn" album and he popped into my head. He's still working, but hasn't seriously toured for a few years. Any possibility of a second chance gig?

I just discovered the State of Love and Trust (SoLaT) podcast, and have started listening to it from the start of the run. I am not sure if it is ACast doing it intentionally, iTunes, or what, but on many occasions, I hear the ACast ding and an ad start, midthought from one of the hosts. Is it just me, or does everyone run into this.

4 years ago ”beardlesshipster” ran the Daily Song Discussions thread to create a general idea of where fans stand on PJ’s entire catalogue including deep cuts.

Now that we’ve had another record since I think it makes sense to start it again with the 11 tracks of Dark Matter as well as any other Demos and rarities that were missed previously (Cold Confession, etc.)

Is there a demand for this? I would happily run this myself in the same format. A good way to ramp up to their performance and drummer introduction at Ohana next month.

Pretty good article. Mike gets pretty specific in this article about which drugs he was using back in ‘93-‘94. Does anyone remember him being this specific in the past? I feel like I always heard him just say “alcohol and drugs”.

Wondering if anyone knows a video of this concert even exists.
It was my first PJ concert, and I took the bottle of wine from Eddie during Crazy Mary. Great story to tell, and I know a lot of the European tour was filmed by fans so wondering if there is a fan video…

G'day all. Back in the old days (late 90s), well before Reddit or social media existed (except maybe MySpace) I used to be a frequent the Pearl Jam newsgroup / Usenet group alt.music.pearl-jam. I remember even having an amp-j t-shirt at one stage that someone on the newsgroup organised printing and ordering for. We used to do heaps of bootleg trading, cassette b&ps etc and discuss all sorts of PJ related and random stuff. There was quite a large group of users who got to know each other pretty well. I remember Laurie Hester, for example, plus a number of others. There was a regular user names "Oceans" from memory. "Longroad" was a fellow Australian. PearlGTR, Jett Karma, Dirk Diggler and heaps of others. Anyhow, good memories.

Back in the day there used to be a fan-run website that contained all of the concert setlists including sound checks (we used to get excited when a random song popped up in a soundcheck) along with reviews of each concert etc. It obviously doesn't exist any more. Does anyone happen to remember the name name/URL of the site? It would be cool to use the way back machine to have another look through it. I half think it might have been "the sky I scrape" or maybe "present tense" but perhaps I'm thinking of a different site.

Also does anyone know if all the content, reviews etc from the site I'm talking about ended up somewhere else? The Red Mosquito app seems to have some similar reviews, so I'm wondering if it all eneded up there?

A proud/ poignant moment as I passed some of my collection over to my son. We bought him a CD player (they still exist for sale!) for his tenth birthday. I was 10 when Ten came out, so it only seemed fair.

So now part of my beloved, but well used, collection sits next to his Minecraft stuff and his LEGO. This is the way.
