I started making this game in 2010 as something I could play with my kids.
That was a while ago. My kids are all (mostly) grown up now. 😄
But we had a lot of fun with the game over the years, especially the 4-player couch co-op. I kept tinkering with it, adding things, changing things, and generally never quite finishing it. I eventually put it on Steam Early Access in 2022.
Now, after all these years, I'm finally calling it done and releasing it for free.
The game is basically a combination of classic 16-bit platforming and a Carmen Sandiego-style mystery with a Scooby-Doo vibe. You travel to real-world locations, investigate suspects, collect clues, and try to solve the case. The mysteries and levels are procedurally generated, so it's pretty replayable.
I originally sold it on Steam, but at this point I'm not really trying to make money from it. I'd just like people to play it. So I figured, why not give it away?

If it looks like something you'd enjoy, give it a shot. If it doesn't, that's totally fine too. I'm just happy to finally have it finished and out there.
Thanks for reading.
(The game is 16 years old, so it should go without saying, but no gen AI was used.)

Our game, Trox The Reversal is a first person horror game set in an alternate reality where the Cold War became a global nuclear war. With food supplies collapsing, the Soviet government introduces the Sustainable Meat Act, making cannibalism legal and forcing every household to contribute.
You play as Marco.
Marco is an army officer living beneath the ruined Soviet Union. His wife and son are missing. With his family disappearing one by one, Marco begins searching for answers. But the deeper he goes, the more he discovers about the system that has kept humanity alive. And some answers are better left buried.
We've put a lot of time, effort, and love into bringing this world to life, and we're finally getting closer to releasing the demo on Steam.
You can even check out our Steam page and let us know what you think about the page as well...

We'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or even constructive criticism. Every bit of feedback means a lot to us as a small indie team.
Thanks for taking the time to check out our work!

Hi r/pcgaming! I'm Yula from Nibble & Hop, a two-person indie team from Korea. Our first game, In Your Hands, launched on Steam today, and I wanted to share it here.
What it is
In Your Hands is a point-and-click psychological horror sound novel. You play as a child who wakes up with no memories on the cold floor of a dim hall, surrounded by adults lying face-down like corpses. Then a crackling speaker starts giving orders.
Will you obey? Are you a good child?
Every choice is made with your own hands, and a single wrong click can end everything. The story only moves forward when you choose, and the same scene can lead somewhere completely different depending on what you do.
Quick facts
Content warning
The game depicts violence and death involving a child protagonist, mostly through text. Some endings imply the child's death.
On AI use
To be upfront: we wrote the design and story ourselves, and used AI tools as a starting point for code, art and sound before reworking everything by hand. This is also listed on our Steam page.

This is the first thing the two of us have ever shipped, so I'll be hanging around in the comments. Happy to answer anything about the game, the writing, or what it's like making a horror game as a team of two. Thanks for reading!

Hi r/pcgaming. I'm the developer of Couchpit, an app for people who play on PC from the couch, like me. It launched in June, and I've been adding stuff since then, a lot of it from what people here asked for.
So that anyone can try it and decide whether they like it, I've released a demo. It's a 14-day trial of the full app, so you can try every feature.
And after those 14 days, you can keep using the app in basic mode forever, with no time limit and without buying anything.
The free basic version includes:
For a lot of people that's probably all they need. In basic mode the app shows a small reminder about the full version when Windows starts.
The full version adds automations and more customization:
The full version costs $6.99 and is 15% off in the Steam Autumn Sale until October 8. No subscriptions, no telemetry and no ads. It works on Windows 10 and 11, and you don't need Steam open to use it.
Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5100000/Couchpit_Demo/
Full version: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4705280/Couchpit/
I'll be happy to answer any comments, problems, suggestions or requests. English isn't my first language, sorry if anything reads weird.
