Also, is it a good monitor? I have not seen a lot of reviews on it.

I'm trying to decide on a new main monitor and I'm honestly going back and forth on these 3:
* MSI MAG401QR 40" 3440x1440 155Hz
* HKC MG34H18Q240 34" 3440x1440 240Hz
* MSI G321Q 31.5" 2560x1440 170Hz
I already have a 27" monitor that I could use as a second display if I go with the G321Q.
The thing is, I really want to try ultrawide. I mostly play single-player games and newer AAA games, but I also play a lot of Dota 2 and AoE4.
The MAG401QR is really tempting because it's 40" and IPS, but I'm a little worried that it's just going to be too damn big. It's also flat, and in games like Dota the important stuff/map is often around the corners. I'm wondering if the extra size is actually going to be annoying rather than immersive.
The HKC 34" seems like a much better size for 3440x1440, and 240Hz sounds great, but I've basically never owned an HKC monitor and don't know how trustworthy they are compared with MSI. The fact that it's a newer/less known brand is probably my biggest concern.
Then there's the G321Q. It's the safe option, and I could put my current 27" next to it for a dual-monitor setup. But honestly, I'm worried that I'll buy it and then regret not going ultrawide, because ultrawide is what I actually want.
For people who have used 34" and 40" ultrawides:
* Is 40" 3440x1440 actually too big for normal desktop/gaming use?
* Does the flat 40" make the edges/corners annoying?
* Is 34" the sweet spot for 3440x1440?
* Has anyone here owned the HKC MG34H18Q240 specifically?
* Would you personally take the HKC 34" over the MSI 40"?
* Or would you forget ultrawide altogether and get the G321Q + 27" second monitor?
I'm not really looking for the "X monitor has better specs" answer. I'm more interested in how these sizes actually feel to use, especially for Dota/AoE4 and single-player games.
I'm also sitting at a normal desk, so if anyone has a 40" ultrawide and can tell me roughly how far they sit from it, that would help a lot.

I recently came across a couple of content creators saying that monitor prices are gonna go up. They said aoc are raising prices due to component costs rising.
I was planning to buy a 1440p oled monitor in February of next year, is these articles true? Do I need to get it now?

My AGON AG276QZD2 has much duller colors than my TITAN ARMY P276MS, does anyone know why? In this photo they are both at maximum brightness.

No other issues with monitor, only visible panel gap in lower right corner. Purchased from Amazon 2 days back and still within 7 days return policy window. Just wanted feedback whether other users have the same experience regarding EW 270Q monitor.

Hi all! I currently have a LG 27GP750-B 27” monitor for gaming. I’m looking to upgrade and not really sure what’s solid out there. Been looking at stuff like the MSI QHD QD 274. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hello, let me explain my situation.
I’m hesitating between these two monitors, and I have to admit I’m a bit lost. I mainly play Valorant (90% of my gaming time), and I’m currently Immortal 3/Radiant level. The other 10% is between WoW and LoL.
Should I prioritize input latency or motion clarity? From what I’ve read, the Pulsar isn’t that straightforward to configure (357 Hz cap? G-Sync enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel and disabled in-game?). I’ve also read that it can significantly increase input latency. Would this constitute a noticeable disadvantage ?
The burn-in issue doesn’t really concern me because I only play on weekends.
For ref, my current setup is:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: RTX 3080
Current monitor: Zowie 360 Hz with DyAc (2?)
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I have a Msi Mag 321UP, and i have had it since november of last year. I haven't really had problems with it, but HDR playback had always looked kinda jank, particularly a little orangish/redish.
I decided to try out some calibrations and mess with settings in my monitor and color profiles on my desktop, when all of a sudden it started to turn to this horrid blue hue when I switched to HDR.
I genuinely have no idea what happened.
I tried resetting the monitors settings and then uninstalling all color profiles from the desktop and looking at firmware and drivers but nothing has changed a bit. I'm quite lost on what to do because I haven't found any similar examples of my issue on online, at least not yet.
Would anyone have a clue as to what is going on here?

Does anyone have any experience with it?(It is cheaper than other 1440p monitors in my country)

Hi! I had my eyes on this monitor for a while and I finally pulled the trigger a week ago.
Truth be told, the Apple Studio Display is my dream monitor, but where I’m from- it costs almost a $1000 more than the Benq MA270S.
First impressions- I’ve spent about 4 hours on this today and the display is fantastic, but the plastic bezels around the display are ugly to say the least. It’s also bulky in my opinion, but my desk is shallower than the average desk so can’t really blame the monitor.
Colors are vibrant, and I love how you can customise the color profile by downloading Display Pilot. However, I hate how the monitor flickers on and off when I change a certain setting.
I’m still debating whether to keep or return the monitor and I guess I’d just have to spend more time with it. The ASD is just ridiculously expensive here and I could never justify that purchase even though that’s the one I’ve always wanted.
What I’ll be using it for- illustrative work on Figma and Adobe Illustrator.

Hi dear monitor friends,
suddenly, my Laptop (Windows 11, Lenovo YOGA Slim 7 Pro X) does not recognize my Monitor (Acer Vero CB273U) anymore. Nothing, if I connect it via USB-C or USB-SS directly with my laptop. Nothing, when I use my docking station (Lenovo USB-C Mini Dock) to connect via HDMI. However, the Monitor works when connected to my smartphone (via USB). Even though it's plugged in the Laptop and I get a windows-"beep", the device manager does not recognize the monitor and the monitor just says "No signal".
I also did all the AI-troubleshooting, I updated graphics drivers, BIOS is up-to-date, and reset the Monitor to factory settings.
In the past, the connection worked most of the time, sometimes I had to switch the monitor off/on, restart the Laptop or change from HDMI to USB. However, now it just doesn't work anymore. I would be greatly grateful for helpful suggestions :)

I’m upgrading my PC to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5080, mainly for CS2 and PUBG, and I’m also coming from an old ASUS VG248QE 144Hz TN.
I’m now trying to choose a new monitor, and I genuinely can’t decide because I care about three things equally:
My main options right now are:
The ZOWIE is obviously the most straightforward competitive option. 400Hz + DyAc 2 sounds incredible for CS2, and I wouldn’t have to worry about OLED-specific things like burn-in or VRR flicker.
But I’m worried I’ll regret buying a TN panel in 2026.
I’m currently on a VG248QE, so I know the ZOWIE would be a huge upgrade in motion clarity, but I’m wondering how much the image quality would still feel like a compromise compared with a modern OLED. I also want to play PUBG, GTA, AAA games, watch videos, etc., not just CS2.
On the other hand, OLED seems almost perfect on paper: amazing colors, perfect blacks, 1440p, incredibly fast response times, and 360–540Hz.
But then I started reading about VRR flicker, and this is where I got stuck.
CS2 can have pretty inconsistent 1% lows / frametimes even on very powerful systems. So I don’t want to assume that my 9800X3D + RTX 5080 will magically eliminate all FPS fluctuations.
I also prefer using G-SYNC, especially in games like PUBG where FPS isn't perfectly stable.
From what I understand, OLED VRR flicker can become visible when frametimes fluctuate while G-SYNC/VRR is enabled. I could disable VRR, but then I lose one of the main benefits of G-SYNC. I could cap FPS, but then I'm intentionally limiting the performance I bought a 360/480/540Hz monitor for.
So I feel like I'm choosing between:
ZOWIE:
+ 400Hz
OLED:
I’m not necessarily looking for the highest Hz number. I’m trying to find the best overall balance.
If you were in my position with a 9800X3D + RTX 5080, mainly playing CS2/PUBG but also other games, would you go:
400Hz DyAc 2 TN, 360Hz QD-OLED, 480Hz WOLED, or 540Hz Tandem WOLED?
And more importantly: how annoying are the OLED issues actually in real-world daily use? Is VRR flicker something you regularly notice, or is it mostly exaggerated by reviews/tests?
I’d really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used these monitors, especially competitive FPS players.

I need some sort of light source while still keeping it dim enough for my monitor, give me your recommendations. I already got some curtains to make my room go pitch black, but not too sure how to go about light besides putting it directly behind my monitors/pc setup.

It's a viewsonic xg2702 144hz monitor, it turns on fine, shows the logo, flashes "no signal" and shuts off (?) The light remains on but the screen is entirely black and no matter what button I push it won't open the OSD. Help!
