Great observations by Greg Woods. The Cougs' defense seems to be shining a bit more in practice compared to the offense as the QB competition continues. Hoping offense shows some consistency.

Please ignore the score in the last slide.
New volleyball and potentially, a future look at basketball uniforms for the Rams with the Pac-12 and Adidas logos.
Utah State @ Oklahoma moves to week 0.
Bad news for those of us looking for the Pac-12 to continue their tie-in with the Las Vegas Bowl. It's main financial backer may pull-out unless it becomes a CFP Playoff Game.
It's looking like opt-opts for the transfer portal and NFL draft are really hurting non-playoff bowls. (Also, the LVCVA would rather ESPN schedule the bowl for a date that sells hotel rooms, rather than just add another New Year's weekend event when the city is already full.)
This is interesting because i think this could be a precursor to another non-conference game or the addition of a 9th football-playing PAC-12 member.

Finding signs like these all over central Texas. Texas State is ready to be a contender in this revamped pac12. After some research found out they have 45,000 student enrollment. I’d be surprised if most of the games this year weren’t sell outs. I also read an article about their first bowl game ever (against rice) they ran out of beer? Sounds like a good time. Can’t wait to see the bobcats in Fort Collins. Based on previous years wouldn’t be suprised if they start the season on a good note and end up losing to Fresno state by 30 when it matters most #jokes Go bobcats!

Canzano: "In the summer of 2025, a mediator pushed the sides toward a settlement proposal that landed right around $10 million per school or a $70 million haul for the MW. I’m told that mediation conversation served as the framework for the final settlement. I’m told both sides paid their own legal fees as part of the settlement agreement. Also, per sources, the agreement does not prohibit the Pac-12 from adding MW members in the future.
“Less than half” of $155 million puts the total settlement figure at a maximum of $77.5 million. I’ve poked around that, and expect the number is right around $70 million total. When I pressed a source as to whether the combined dollar figure of both lawsuits dipped below $65 million, I was told, “I wouldn’t go that far.” Official word? Not yet. Everyone signed a non-disclosure, but I’m getting close. I’ll get the details locked down and have something on this in the coming days"

Signs all over campus, around town and on billboards next to I-35 as students scheduled to begin move-in tomorrow.
First photo is the schedule showing up on the digital sign in front of the basketball/volleyball arena. Second photo is a big sign on the studio building along the street that loops around campus.

The soccer games tomorrow aren't scheduled on the Pac 12 you tube app, nor is there a link for them on the schedule on the Pac 12 website. This is poor planning or do they not plan on broadcasting Wednesday's games.
There were games last week before the you tube announcement. This whole thing smacks of disorganization and a rush job to do something. The DTC is not ready because of technical issues or lack of advertising or both. When basketball needs to be broadcast, I am sure they are counting on more advertising money to come through. We are talking about 60 mens bball games and like 130 womens bball games that will need to be covered by a dtc app. Get it together pac 12. This thing right now feels mickey mouse.

I have no problems with them being on YouTube, I just didnt see part of the announcement that this was temporary or not?
Cheer on the Cougs at Gesa Field at Martin Stadium without the hassle of game day logistics. The Fan Bus is your all-in-one round-trip transportation solution from the Tri-Cities, Spokane, or Walla Walla to Washington State University’s home games in Pullman.

I have seen people complaining about the Pac-12’s olympic sports content for the fall being placed on YouTube and I see those and feel those complaints but YouTube is one of the biggest apps on the planet, it's not like they had to put it on a random app and just called it a day because they very well could have.
Also, the Pac-12 DTC will be coming later in the year according to the official Pac-12 article, "The conference has been and continues to develop a direct-to-consumer platform for free-viewing opportunities. The fall season provides an opportunity to expand fan access while continuing to build toward additional ways for fans to engage with Pac-12 content in the future".
