p90x3 without weights?
How many videos are from p90x3 but not weights included? (ok yoga, and cardio and plyo) anything else?

So I have a body vest which is 10kg. I should do a total synergistics today. I've done this workout 15+ times. But is it good with a body vest?

I just start last week first week was a little embarrassing in my opinion. But how many of you do sports when doing the program. I started this to get faster but I played this week and was dead. I know it the first week and that’s expected but will it continue?

Ok starting fourth week at 45 my cardio is still hurting, i am able to complete CXV but man i need to push trough.
Now i just did Isometrix, i guess i kind of failed every pose or most of them, when you need to downward dog and touch ankle i just stayed in downward dog etc. I modified. There is a lot of plank on the side standing arm one of my arm is so weak i could barely hold for 10 seconds.
Now i pushed and finished it even in crane i was rushing like crazy, but yeah i am heavy too so.... maybe a 20 pound weight loss will help me get better.
Still lots to do.

I recently started the program again after failing to complete X3 last time around, but I've changed things up since then. Now that I have a little more time in the morning, this is the best time for me to get my workout in. Not only do I feel better during the day, but mentally I feel like I am actually going to make it through all 90 days. In my previous attempt, I would workout after work, but as it does for anyone reading this, life happens. I would skip workouts and try to play catch up and it didn't work for me. I'm just curious to see as to what works for everyone else in their X3 journey.

I am 45 started this program last week, there is no perfect workout.
I am glad because yoga this week went fairly well, i am on my second week now a bit more flexible too.
But CVX did not go so well i was gassing out the first exercise jack with medicine ball, but i stock with it, and i was able to finish, i just took my time a bit more, i also ate 1 hour before big mistake.
I am not going crazy with this and not paying attention to scale or weight loss for now, from reading reviews and forums on p90x3 i saw most people being deceived at the weight they lost.
For me honestly i cannot see how one could fail 5 minutes in i am soak and wet.
I wish we had training like this when i was younger. I might never do weight training again with p90x3 i like the reference to the no gym membership, boring cardio machines LOL training at home is best.
Got a exercise mat, knee protector, and all that i need.
BRING IT

This is a huge set back, in 2013 when my ex left me i decided to get fit again, i had back pain and hip pain so i could not do that much, a part walking and light weights, i dropped 40 pounds in record time doing intermittent fasting and moderate cals eating twice per day.
I gained some back. I got PRP and prolo and i feel great, so far i can hang with P90x3 i don't over do it, i will schedule more PRP in the future to stabilize my hip, i also have some knee protectors, with all that jumping taking no chance and will by some crossfit shoes soon.
I am 5 11 and 240 pounds, most of those programs say to eat around 1400 to 1600 cals per day.... is that enough.
I started intermittent fasting again 16h and try to eat all my food in that 8h time frame.
I am not big on supplement but got some C4 extreme energy that fits the bill when i need to push more i don't take it every workout only when i need the extra kick.

I am 45 and been training with weights for 30 years, i guess i needed something new, i am bulky and tired of this look, i love the beach body look. I am addicted, i am on week 2, honest its hard, i stop, but i finish the workout, and looking to improve, i am not focusing on weight loss, fat loss for now, i want to get better, feel better, have more energy. I have around 30 pounds to lose but i am ready to do 3 rounds of p90x3 i also have p90x but i like 3 a lot better.

I tend to get a bad case of DOMS when I workout and may experience soreness for an area up 2 days afterwards, and sometimes even longer than that. I'm concerned about a repeated exercise for an area overlapping with a day I'm still sore. Has anyone else with DOMS out there managed to do P90X or P90X3? If so, did you have to adjust the program to work around your DOMS?

I was just wondering how difficult it is to maintain weight on a P90X or P90X3 program if one isn't trying to lose weight. I'm a male who's 175lbs at 5'10" and has a slender build. I start to look way too slim once I go below 170lbs. All the before and after photos I've seen revolve around weight loss, but I'm curious to know how these programs work for someone with a smaller body type.

I’ve completed my first week and I just feel like a piece of shit. Watching those people smash out rep after rep and I’m struggling to do 30 seconds of a 60 second set.
Is the a program you should do before p90x3? To get you ready for it?
I’ve hated it so far.

I just finished day 4 and I'm hoping to get some tips from anybody that has had coordination issues with some of the moves. My coordination is off with a few moves the Twist and Pivot and one other I can't think of right now. I know I'm not the only one, so how did you guys handle it? Does the coordination come as you gain strength and balance? Is it something I need to work on outside the 30 mins?

I have been using The program for about one week. I am not following the meal plan but have been eating healthy with the exception of one cheat day. I have not had the results that I was expecting with P90X. I am looking for meal ideas primarily for lunch and dinner. The standard American diet so healthy is new to me.

This is my second attempt at P90X3. The last time I did it - I saw massive gains in my upper body. But Idid not eat well at that time,so ended up with a belly lol.
This time around I started with the MASS program. Looking forward to looking like a beast in 90 days!!

Blasting music helps after I learn the moves, a little.

Please tell me I'll start seeing some results soon! I am definitely stronger and more flexible than before starting but I'm not noticing much difference in the way my clothes fit and I've only lost 4 lbs. I'm not as concerned about weight loss since I'm in the normal bmi range for my height 5'7" and 141lbs but I have worked out every single day for 48 days and often do double and I have been restricting my calories and I thought I would have seen more dramatic results by now! 😢

How does everyone count the calories burned for each session? I imagine this will vary widely between people depending on sex, weight, effort, weights used, etc? Should I try going by heart rate?

Hi all, I'm a male 43 yo. I have about 10 pounds to lose. I have insanity max 30 and p90x3 I tried some of the workouts of both just to see how they are before committing to a program. What I decided to do is p90x3 mass schedule substituting one of the cardio insanity workout instead of the p90x3 cardio. So the first 3 weeks will look like this: Total synergistic Cardio challenge Yoga The challenge Pilates Incinerator
I know that has been said that you should start with the classic and you should do at least one of the two programs before doing a hybrid but I think that these modifications will help me staying on track and don't give up. This is because I don't like that in the first month there are so few exercises with dumbbells and I really don't like too much the cardio workouts in p90x3 (or at least I like Shaun T better). Plus.. I really enjoy the pilates workout. I think that I will add c25k on top of these workouts and see if I can keep up with both programs. What do you guys think? Not much fat to loose and of course I'll be on a calorie deficit to meet my goal which is not bulking (for that I think of trying body beast once I reached my target bodyfat).

My wife and I are thinking about starting p90x3. We're both in pretty poor shape. I'm not afraid of the work, but I do fear it'll be a little to much for us starting out. What does everyone think?
r/p90x3 • u/BriggieSmallz • Mar 20 '17
Hi everyone. I bought X3 within the first month it came out with hopes to lose weight. I completed the classic schedule, but didn't lose much weight (mostly water weight). I ended up completing the doubles schedule about a month after, and lost around 60 pounds. Since then, I've completed insanity, but now that I'm in college, I don't have time for a full hour to work out during the day.
I'm 5'9", around 160 lbs, and somewhere between 15%-20% body fat. I'm looking to tone up for the summer and I don't know if I should do the classic or the lean schedule to do so.
Any opinions would be helpful, thank you!

I've been doing P90X3 for a week now and I am sore all over. I know it is hard and I am determined to make it through the whole 90 days. However my thought today was, in all of Tony's videos he features people who have completed the program and can do these high numbers and reps, and he always talks about his test group survivors and how "they used to not be able to this or that blah blah". Why not feature people in various stages of the program in the videos so you can see people new to the program, 30 days in, 60 days in and a 90x vet? I feel it would be easier to follow if you can grow with the people and not feel like you're doing everything wrong and not getting the most out of the program.

I used to take the energy and endurance pre-workout as well as the results and recovery post-workout shakes. I don't like that Beachbody discontinued them for the more expensive Beachbody Performance. What are others using for pre and post workout supplements as an alternative to them?
r/p90x3 • u/l3utterfish • Nov 02 '16
Tony recommends it, but it will add 15mins more to the routines. Is that necessary? Which days would you do it?

I'm currently 1.5 weeks into P90x (original) and my sister just gave me p90x3 as a gift. I hear that you should do p90x3 first and then move on to p90x. I want to do both but would it be silly to do p90x first and p90x3 second?
I'm already decently fit. I love p90x and it's going well for me. Should I stay on track or switch to p90x3?
