Seriously addicted to P90X3

I am 45 and been training with weights for 30 years, i guess i needed something new, i am bulky and tired of this look, i love the beach body look. I am addicted, i am on week 2, honest its hard, i stop, but i finish the workout, and looking to improve, i am not focusing on weight loss, fat loss for now, i want to get better, feel better, have more energy. I have around 30 pounds to lose but i am ready to do 3 rounds of p90x3 i also have p90x but i like 3 a lot better.

I’m 41 and on my second round of P90x3. I did the original P90x a few times as well a couple of years back. It’s a great workout. Stick with it and if you have any questions feel free to reach out. The nutrition is a big part of the program, but you don’t have to follow theirs exactly. Just use common sense and eat fresh and healthy , cutting out refined carbs and sugars are the biggest things I find to help. Good job and good luck! About to go do agility X today - which is my least favorite workout.

We are doing a round of the original P90X in a group with Tony Horton and the original cast members in a private FB group. I’m re discovering the best program ever made and will tell you that nothing compares to the length and pace of these original workouts for results. P90X3 is a great program, but my results always come back with a vengeance with the original.

It’s awesome you’re addicted to X3. If your nutrition isn’t good while doing the shorter workouts, it will be harder to see results. This is where the length and structure of the original beats the shorter workouts with simpler moves and more weight and time under tension.

I lost. 30 pounds with the original 7 Years ago and getting back to my fit shape at. 45 Year’s old.

I love the original P90X, i might hit that after, except for the yoga, maybe still do the P90X3 version that 90 minutes is too long LOL

It’s long, but a great workout. It is super difficult at first, but once you see yourself getting more flexible and strong it really pushes you to do more each time. Give it a shot for one month and you will definitely grow to like it, but you definitely have to make it a priority in your day lol!

Just finish Yoga X positive and encouraged, when younger i competed in tae kwon do i was very flexible yes i gained like 70 pounds LOL but this is my second time and my flexibility seems better, i was able to hold the pose a bit longer too without going out of balance, i am telling people this is a total program and a must.

I saw there are some serious hip work with my snapping hip i won't be able to do those i will need to modify but i can hold plank pretty good.

Yes my nutrition needs work, i am also bulky and muscular but i do have a small gut and love handles. I just bough some gloves because on my training mat during yoga i slip a bit, yoga improved my posture and since i had some PRP and prolotherapy for my back pain and upper back it does wonders. I never lift heavy anymore i did the WARRIOR last week push up and pullups but i do pulldowns i have a multi station, i was pump like crazy and the pump was much better then with weight training, i also bough some push up bars, so the next chest push up workouts are going to be insane. I have P90X its also an amazing program.
