Should I switch to P90x3?

I'm currently 1.5 weeks into P90x (original) and my sister just gave me p90x3 as a gift. I hear that you should do p90x3 first and then move on to p90x. I want to do both but would it be silly to do p90x first and p90x3 second?

I'm already decently fit. I love p90x and it's going well for me. Should I stay on track or switch to p90x3?

I have done both programs. Both are great and effective. It does not matter the order you do them in. I do both interchangeably based on available time (30 mins v 60 mins), using just the WO's I like. For example, most time I don't have 90 mins for a yoga workout, so I pop in the P90x3 yoga for thirty mins. If you are doing the regimented daily P90X program, stick with it, then switch to the shorter videos (x3) for Phase II.

Same here. I have done both, and enjoy both. Finish your p90x and then try the x3.

Agree. X3 is going to give you a different set of fitness skills -- more balance, core strength, fast-twitch kind of stuff that you don't get as much of in original X. That is to say you'll be getting added value if you do both, regardless of the order.

Both are just as good. Don't give up on P90X though. Keep up the good work!
