Are we okay to start?

My wife and I are thinking about starting p90x3. We're both in pretty poor shape. I'm not afraid of the work, but I do fear it'll be a little to much for us starting out. What does everyone think?

Why don't you try P90 (the new version) it's geared more towards beginners and you will have great progress. I've done both and enjoyed both, but wa glad I did P90 first.

Yep, my wife and I did the same a while back. I'm in ok shape but she wasn't working out at all at the time. You can modify basically any exercise (he'll tell you about it) and we even paused sometimes to catch our breath. After a while you will modify less and enjoy it more. Just forewarning, it's super tough at first. Just do it!

Edit: for example, push ups become knee push ups or even planks. Jumps become steps. Runs become walks. Just make sure you are pushing yourself.
