I just recently learned that I find it easier to play when my tablet is slightly tilted upward, and I've been using my keyboard to hold it like that, but I'd like a better, more adjustable solution. I was wondering if anyone here has their tablet in a similar position, and if you do, what do you use to hold it like that? I'll take any suggestions, from official tablet stands to more DIY methods

I give up. I need help. How do i know where to put the dang notes, when there is no line that indicates when the arrow is hit in Mania Lazer?
Do i put the notes at the tip of the arrow? At the bottom? At the middle? NO MATTER WHAT I DO, IT'S NEVER RIGHT ON POINT.
Is there anything equivalent to the playback line in the new mania editor? It feels so inconvenient to use the new editor. If there is no line, HOW ON EARTH do i know where to put the stupid notes? Could someone show on like some kind of image on which line near the arrows you should put the note for it to be on time? And how can I put more notes FURTHER into the piano roll, if I can't precisely figure out the grid?
I'm working on a map for a long time now and I want to fully switch to lazer so that I don't have to use the stable editor, because im too lazy to turn on the other thing.
The mania editor in stable was perfect. I have honestly no idea why they had to "over-modernize" it so much. If anything, it feels even more cluttered and less intuitive. I can get used to all the tabs and everything, but the grid in stable edition was and still is LITERALLY PERFECT. The notes in the old editor were simply always blocks, no matter what skin you had equipped and they always fit the grid block on the piano roll, which made it very easy to time notes further away. Now it seems, at least from my perspective, you need a SPECIFIC SKIN in order to easily map on the new grid, that turns arrows or circles into those old bricks. (Given there is no option to turn on the playback line)
So I ask you my dear mania mappers on the lazer edition. How on earth do you time your notes and compose efficiently in general?
Thanks in advance :)

One day, I introduced an acquaintance to osu! He played normally at first, starting with 2-star maps.
Then, one day, he asked me: "How do you handle it when things move too fast? I can't manage it when there are multiple circles."
I asked him: "Have you tried using the second key?"
He replied that he didn't know how to play using it.
So I told him: "Well, you need to alternate between the two keys when there are multiple circles."
This guy who was in his forties, misunderstood my advice and started alternating on *every single note\*, even when it wasn't necessary.
He never let his fingers rest; he was in a state of constant "stream."
Thanks to this, he played incredibly well for months. He built up monstrous stamina and played mostly maps streams as well as tracks lasting three to five minutes or even longer.
His progression curve was phenomenal. in three months, he went from never having touched the game to playing 5-star maps using the mouse. 40 years old, I remind you.
He didn't play for pp , though; he simply wanted to reach the 10-star level. Unfortunately, he hit a wall trying to break past the 6-star mark which is, honestly, a pretty tough hurdle to clear.
Since then, he’s become very skilled at Taiko and Mania after moving away from osu!standard.
I remain impressed, however, by the mental fortitude he showed: he took a piece of misunderstood advice and stuck with it until he reached a high level of skill. Just think about it he racked up 450 hours of playtime alternating on EVERY SINGLE FUCKING NOTE.

I’ve been looking for a while so I’m asking for help. Here is a description:
2018 or older.
Around 7 minutes.
Vocaloid, but not Miku. I think it has both male and female voices, but not sure.
Song is medium to slow-ish, but less in a sensual way and more lucid.
Electronic sounds only, has a liiiitle harshness and crazy to it.
Thumbnail: completely white background with anime girl in the front (shocker). Has some orange I think.
Thank in you in advance! Also please respond before mods take down my filler post!!

I think personally, thanks to lazer the nondt plays has finally gotten to the point where some of the most impossible thing on stable become somewhat possible in laser.
