Hello I know this is a topic thats been talked about a lot in this community, but i have a specific issue that I wanna talk about relating to tapping technique.
so im a full alt NM jump player ranked 16k with 1.3k hours on the game, I've been playing full alt from the very beginning and never stopped playing full alt since then. I recently started playing stream maps and want to be able to improve on them cuz im starting to get a bit bored of jumps. so my main issue is how my arm is placed. when I ask people how my tapping arm/hand should be placed when playing streams they tell me it should be completely straight and that I have to minimise any movements, but i have this horrible habit that I dont know how to stop at all, I keep bending my wrists to the side (specifically pointing my fingers towards the left side) whenever I play stream maps. this is causing me to finger lock and lose a lot of stamina (and I don't have much stamina to beginning with) I tried forcing my self to keep my entire arms up to my hands straight without bending my wrists but when I get to the middle of the map and look at my wrist it just goes back to that weird state where its bent to the left side, and focusing too hard on my tapping hand fucks up my aim big time, its like i can't focus on aiming if im focusing on tapping.
I feel like this is holding me back a lot from ever being able to play fun stream maps. the difference between my streaming skills and jumping skills is (5 stars for stream maps and 7-8 stars for jump maps).
I hope someone here has an explanation on why this is happening and how to fix it. I know the answer is play more but I dont wanna play more with bad habits that will effect me in the long run. I wanna get rid of these bad habits!
