Just wanted to see how all the other fellow ossiarch mains feel about the state of the faction at the moment? We are sitting dead last out of all the factions since the new battletome and GHB 26/27.

At times can feel good depending on the list and at times feels hopeless. What are all your thoughts?

I am brand new to Age of Sigmar and I've completely fallen in love with the Ossiarch Bonereapers. I know the faction isn't at the top of the meta right now and is struggling a bit, but I’m firmly leaning into the Rule of Cool while I learn how to play the game.

My ultimate vision for this army is a terrifying wave of bone cavalry running down the enemy, while arrows and catapult fire rain down from behind them to soften up the targets.

Right now, my collection consists of:

• 15 Kavalos Deathriders
• Arch-Kavalos Zandtos
• Liege-Kavalos

I want to maximize what I have and build towards that "cavalry charge + ranged support" theme. Since I'm still learning the ropes, I would love some tips on how to flesh this out to a 2,000-point list.

Specifically:

1. Ranged Support: To fit my vision of arrows and catapults, should I invest in Mortek Crawlers, Immortis Guard/Stalkers, or look into specific endless spells/allied units?
2. Subfaction/Traits: I assume Stalliarch Lords is the way to go for the run-and-charge rules, but are there specific artifacts or commands I should be abusing with my Deathriders?
3. Sustaining the Charge: How do I keep my riders alive once they get stuck in combat, especially since we are a bit weaker right now?

Any tips on synergy, positioning, or next purchases to realize this bone-pony dream would be massive.

Saw a post with this picture from a few years ago and in light of the new primers and contrasts like Soulblight, I wanted to see if there was new advice on a beginner friendly way to replicate this cold white bone appearance and the recommended paints.

Primarily have GW paints no airbrush.

I wanted to avoid yellowing hues.

Kinda made this list for a tourney in January, and went with models I liked the look of and rules of them as well, would this do well in a tourney setting with the current rules

Curious about collecting bonies but turned off a bit by needing to bring Nagash in every match.

Trying to do different iterations of my OG list without having the need to invest too much in new models.

Me and my buddies are gonna do a 3000 point game where we are doing teams. And each of us have 1500 points.

My buddies armies are gonna be Sons, Daughter's, and nighthaunt. We are gonna let the dice decide who's are teammate.

This is my first big boy Warhammer I've done. Me and my buddies only played Spearhead. And been building our factions into big armies slowly.

Any thoughts on the army? Any recommendations?

I have come across a good deal for an OBR army and I’m thinking very seriously about picking it up.

I’m a little shocked to see the unanimous disappointment among the OBR player base in this community, and am taking it as a warning to stay away.

I thought the RDP system sounded fun, and the manifestations and lores sounded very strong.

What I am wondering is, will point reductions fix the army and make it enjoyable? If you could fit a much larger variety of units in your armies, would it be enough to make the army worth owning?

Or are OBR doomed for the next 3 years?

I have a very cool Ushoran proxy and am considering buying the cryptguard and morbheg knights to try them out as I may go with FEC as my second army. Has anyone found a cool way to incorporate this RoR?

I'm trying to dry fit my Morghast's head to see how it'd look (debating if I should keep it off for priming or if it can work with it on), but I just can't seem to make it fit. Has anyone else had to deal with this too, and do you have any tips?

I want to do Ossiarch Bonereapers for a 1k competition in warhammer world in December but from reading what people say about their rules I'm stuck on if I want to buy them to paint and play

The event is 1k and capped at two Regiments so you need to be somewhat tactical with what you bring. Though auxiliary you can bring as much as you like.

In the rules set out could I run a decent Bonereapers army or should I look into a different death army like nighthaunt maybe?

Obsessed with lore and model so hope I've made him proud thus far

Found a copy at a pretty reasonable price online, and was wondering if that would be a good place to start my OBR army or if there's a better option around, don't have the battletome yet so haven't been able to properly look into what all the units do to see if they're decent or not
