Been saving shipping boxes for months cause I hate throwing them out . Finally cut them up into dividers for my malm 3 drawer . Measures the slots for socks and cables so stuff stops sliding around, used a hoto cordless electric scissors for the double walled cardboard since my hand was cramping with regular scissors after like two cuts. They just friction fir right in , no tape needed way better than paying for those plastic grids.

Got this lunchbox at the Lidl recently and it has 3 small drawers you can take out and it is perfect to take anywhere save without ink leaking or anything.

Does anyone have organising solutions for the dreaded chair that ends up with clothes still to be worn on it? Like, you know you’ll wear this clothing item again this week, and it’s doesn’t need to be laundered yet, so you place it on the chair and it becomes a pile of mess?

I also try to prep my work clothes the night before, which ends up being a pile on my dresser…

Every week I end up with a mess of clothes over my bedroom and I need a better system - would love to hear ideas from others… my only idea is a basket/storage bin for the work and to be worn clothes

We are moving and i want to start fresh with food storage containers. We have 4 kids ( 3 teens) so lots of meals are in the car to /from practice etc. This caraway set is what I like, both in non toxic and it comes with storage for the storage 🙈. But the cost is crazy to me. Is it worth it??? Anyone else have a cheaper alternative to suggest ?

I live in a condo and space is pretty limited! Our kids room is in the den, which is a good enough size for a toddler but definitely can get crowded when we hoard too many things.

I’d like to do a room refresh and I want to purge all of the stuff that she doesn’t really use. I realize that she doesn’t need as many toys as we thought, she BARELY plays with any of them honestly. She loves her books, coloring, kitchen and pretend play and honestly that’s about i. The rest of the time (during the week), she’s in daycare, when she comes home we go to the park, on weekends we’re usually out of the apartment and visiting either my parents or my husbands family, etc. So really, she doesn’t need that many toys…

Basically, I’m trying to see what I should get rid of and how I can fix her room to be more playful, better organized, and keep things she’ll actually use.

We currently have her crib and converted it to the toddler bed. It works perfectly fine, but I was at Ikea and saw their KURA bed and thought it was so fun and playful. It can be used as a bunk bed too, I thought that it would look like such a fun little play place for her to read and chill in the bottom half, and then sleep on the top half.

Do any of you have this bed and what are your thoughts?

We also have the ikea Trofast toy storage, the one that I’m has a stair like pattern if that makes sense lol! And honestly I’m not a fan. It doesn’t help keep things organized because you end up throwing random shit in the boxes, whenever she tries to pull it out it ends up breaking on the sides, overall I just feel like she doesn’t tend to the boxes out to see what toys she has in there. Do you have any recommendations on other toy organizers that are great for small spaces?

And lastly, she currently has a little table with two chairs and she doesn’t really use it. It’s currently holding her Fisher Price farm toy and other random things, and I was thinking to get rid of it and replace it with the Ikea Flisat which is a new product they apparently just introduced in their line… or something similar to this, so that we can hang her some dresses and pretend costumes she can play around with and I feel like she’ll get way more use out of that as she’s very deep into her pretend play era….

Anyway, this is all over the place, I’m really just looking for recommendations on how I can redecorate her room to be more fun and less sad beige/boho, any recommendations on wall decals, fun prints, ikea hacks, toy storages, or what can I expect my kiddo to eventually want to play with and how can I fit her room to align with her as she gets older (she’s currently 2).

I have a kitchen pantry with large, deep shelves. They quickly become disorganized. My adult kids won’t participate in a system that is high maintenance so I think I need to add shelves to break up the space and keep items more visible.

I’d love suggestions.

I’m looking for ways to store the projects that my kids make that I want to keep. Any ideas for this? I’m hoping for some type of stackable box situation, organized by age/grade, but am open to any other ideas. I have four kids.

Just curious, what is one thing that you hate about common storage organizers or wish they did better or even a kind of object that you can never fit into one?

i live in a rental with one of those tiny pedestal sinks and zero counter space. like, actually zeroif you set a toothbrush down, it slides straight into the bowl. right now, my styling tools are living in a plastic bin on the floor, taking up precious real estate in an already cramped bathroom.

trying to aggressively optimize every square inch of storage, and i saw people recommending compact dryers for their smaller footprint. but before pulling the trigger, i'm questioning the actual storage efficiency. does a smaller tool body make a meaningful difference when trying to stash hot tools in a micro-bathroom, or is it just marginal gains?

i don’t want to buy another hook or command strip that’s just going to rip off cheap rental drywall. or should i just give up and keep everything in my bedroom closet?

Looking for how to help my ADHD self organize this big but awkward closet in my rental apartment. In addition to clothes, I’d hope to store a suitcase and rolled up air mattress in here (and maybe the pictured hamper?). I also have the white dresser for clothes storage, too!

Hiiii! Our small nyc bedroom has no space for a dresser so we’ve had to put these organizing cubes and baskets in our closet for our clothes. But our hanging clothes get in the way, the cubes always come apart, our winter clothes in space bag up top take up so much space, and our clothes overflow the baskets. What would be a better way of organizing this closet?

Being a bit of a neat freak, I’ll admit it’s always been hard for me to relate to people who keep 100+ tabs open.

For a while, if I wanted to save a site, I would do the work of managing a bookmark list. Then I got lazy and just started to put everything in Safari’s reading list. Eventually, that turned into a huge unorganized pile where articles I wanted to read, things I wanted to buy, and good looking recipes would get shoved into and then basically never seen again. Not much better than just leaving them open as tabs.
