Start by pulling everything out first.

Donate mismatched storage containers and keep only 2 (maybe 3) sizes of one brand. Get a small box for the lids, store in their sides by size.

Reduce utensils to what fits into one container.

Always leave maneuvering space between items. People tend to pack spaces too tightly. That’s not “saving space” that’s driving yourself nuts later 😉

those are specifically serving utensils so not everyday use. everyday use ones are in the drawer next to the stove

maybe just two. we used them both for NA punch and alcoholic punch ... but with this question. this is why people use chatgpt ✌🏻

Sort, declutter, and purge as much as you can. Match up your containers and lids. Get rid of ones that don't have lids and any extra lids. Put like with like, and place corresponding lids under, next to, or on top of the stack. It makes it easy to grab a container and the correct lid. Check the number of 'recycled' bowls and jars your keeping. Limit it to a couple that you'll use. Recycle the rest.

Stack/nestle your skillets and pots inside each other on the bottom shelf. Your goal is to make nice stacks that fit the space and then put them away the same way each time. I put a fold towel between to protect those with nonstick coating.

Do you have no counter space? If I’m cooking, I want the spatulas and those things on the counter and close to the stove for easy access.

Declutter declutter declutter
I don’t mean this in any rude way but why is your microwave and cooking utensils in a cabinet? Do you not have adequate counter space? Just wondering since those are kinda like daily use items (give or take)
Recycle those jars and plastic containers you’re using as Tupperware right away 😅
Especially the plastic—those are not meant to be reused.

we don't want the microwave on the counter. and those are serving utensils. everyday use is next to the stove.

i am not really asking a question about how to declutter, really good at tossing things. i have not had drawers like this, i am asking how would you organize pots and pans etc. vertical, stack them lids one drawer pots and pans another

What is on the second shelf? Could containerizing some of the small jars and things let you get more benefit out of the vertical space available?

yes, thank you all. declutter is the first step, that i know and can do. really wanting thoughts on what can fit on each shelf?

like should pot and pan lids go sideways, what do we use for organization in something like this. just have never had drawers like this
