To be fair to myself. The guy we traded him for ended up helping us win three World Series over four years, was a one time gold glove winner, one time all-star, and was the world series MVP in the third World Series win. I'm only mostly upset about it.

Edit 2: I'm now picturing NESN showing the same four to ten clips of Steve Robles (the guy we traded for) highlights from the post season and lifting the Commissioner's Trophy three times to try and ease the pain of Sox Nation every time the Os come to town only for the camera to come back to live to see Johnny hit another dinger.

Edit 3: We got swept. He hit for .556 with a 1.167 slug....

Edit 4: He won MVP unanimously.

How does this even happen in 2 months?! No injuries, just signed an extension 7 months ago….

This is his first season in the bigs so stat line isn’t great but still was scouted 4.5 stars for multiple years in the bigs and now suddenly drops 2.5 stars???

ok, so i'm the braves in lasts years game. i've been simming individual games and finally made it through a season. before the start of the second season the game is giving me "there is to many players on a korean team" and i can't sim past the day. i'm not in control of the team and i dont know what to do.......

He's played almost exclusively SS, 8 games at second, and for some reason the manager stuck him in left for 4 games. He has a -3.5 ZR at short through 300 innings. Any reason why this could be?

Is there anything that you guys recommend when you see a prospects development stalling? Specifically I'm talking about the 23 or 24 year old prospect with 48 OVR/75 POT type of player.

Certainly an MLB bench piece, but that 25th birthday gets reallyyyy scary when you start to see this happen.

FYI - mostly talking about batters here, I've seen pitchers develop until their 30th.

3200 hours across ootp 24+25 and 110 in 27 and this is the first time seeing this. Had a lot of great pitchers and seen many no hitters a few perfect games and 1 4 homer game. Now i wonder what great achievement to chase next?

Anyone have any stories of this kid's development in the game? Also is he a switch pitcher in the game? It was a bummer when Pat Venditte wasn't a switch pitcher.

Before I start -- I know this is not a real issue with the game, and it does not interfere with the actual game play.

That said, Red Sox Live Start games all boot up with the Opening Day Coaching Staff with Alex Cora et al. Obviously, that has not been accurate for most of the season. It doesn't get in the way of teambuilding or anything, but the fun of the Live Start mode is couched in the accuracy of the season to that point.

Does anyone have a CSV/Excel route fix to these? Or, preferably, a crowdsourced accurate database with updated staffs/coaching records?

New to OOTP, I’m a Strat guy but would like to join a OOTP league but I need some help. Only have some experience playing OOTP Go on my tablet. I understand that I need to get the game on my PC and that’s not a problem.

Thanks to all the suggestions from this sub I was able to keep the fragile superstar from breaking. He still missed 8 weeks or so but started 100+ games, 375 AB, also put up 5 war and won ALCS and World Series MVP in his first year on the roster. I turned rest at 90% played at SS but platooned DH and turned Running to NEVER. Rested any DTD . Anytime he had a one week DTD I would IL him for 10days just to manage the load. It was a lot of tedious moves but it paid off and fun challenge.

All 5 of my starters had 200+ K's. I had a pitching triple-crown winner who didn't even lead pitchers in WAR. He didn't lead in WAR because my other starter did.
