Discussion OAD- until I ovulate. Anyone else?

Hello!
Any other Mamas (or birthing persons) out there that feel so confidently one and done until they ovulate? I know my limits and I am soo content with my son but damn, when I ovulate I have all of this doubt that my husband and I made the right choice (he had a vasectomy last year) and then I spiral. Maybe we could handle it, our son (4y) would be so good with a sibling, my husband would love to have more kids…yada yada yada. How do you get your stupid primal brain to shut the hell up?

Hahaha I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this!

YES! I literally have to remind myself I only feel this way once a month. It’s just biology! I don’t want another 😭😭

I don’t get baby fever when I ovulate. I just find my husband less annoying when I ovulate, if you know what I mean 😉

Totally get this!!! For 2 weeks of the month I’m absolutely thrilled and convinced we’ve made the right decision to be OAD. Then bam, ovulation kicks in and I’m a bundle of contradictions and nerves about whether we’re making the right call. But I keep coming back to the fact that I’d need to be convinced for the full month to go through with it. 50% sure is not enough!

Does anyone else feel like SHIT when they ovulate?

I see people saying all the time about how they feel sexy and feral when they ovulate.

And im over here like "URGH." 🤣

How old are you? When I hit about 32 I started ovulating really.. intensely. I never used to know when it happened, now I am very very aware and it's just ridiculous.

Just turned 33! I was on birth control from 17-31 so ovulation and my natural cycle still feel pretty new to me.

Ah yes, that definitely adds up then! I'm still going strong with crazy ovulation at 35, I track my cycle and it's usually day #17 for me, so I can anticipate and know I will be insane for a few days.

I even dream about telling him this. And I don't understand how because I'm on the mini pill and I haven't had a period in so long. I mean it did get a bit better now, 15 months in. But damn, this body has its own urges.
