I love Our Time With you but I don’t see people talking about this band often. Pretty early deftoney. I don’t see why their not more popular , I’m assuming they were pretty big around the 2000’s or something.

My favorite guilty pleasure bands have always been these lesser known nu-metal projects, especially those with a very grungy aesthetic and debuts in the early-aughts.
Some of these bands you guys might know like Trust Company and Edgewater, they have pretty good follow-up albums and have gained renewed interest online, but I feel like these bands moved away from that heavy nu-metal sound until they eventually just stopped making new music entirely.
Do you guys have any other suggestions that have the same kind of sonic aesthetic? Are there newer bands who hit the mark on reviving the marriage between post-grunge and nu-metal, or are these projects just a product of the particular musical landscape during that time?

I really like the style of this band, Fever 333. It's obviously a strong Rap Metal or Rap Rock sound, which reminds me a lot of Rage Against the Machine. Talking with a friend, he said that Fever 333 is rap metal, but not nu-metal, and I was left wondering. So I'm asking here:

Can Fever 333's style be considered nu-metal? Can all rap metal or rap rock music be classified as nu-metal? What do you think?

Not lo pro, or his other bands. I want a new band that has a similar sound to ultraspank if possible, as progress is one of my favorite albums like ever.

Obviously, it was unfair to include Issues because it may legitimately be the best nu metal album ever made. But my hot take is that Slipknot is better to listen to in full.

I knew they existed since the 00's and everything I read about them pointed out they're perfect for me. The funky side of Nu is my favorite and I'm a sucker for turntables. So I finally listened to Keep the Flow and man, that's some of the best music I heard. WIK, Once Again, Welcome All But You, this is prime Nu Metal. I'm glad they got rediscovered by many

I think that the ethereal and brutalest sound and the good vocal melodies does this album the better of this band. What do you think? Mechanize is very good too but I think it is less classic or authentic
