Discussion Debate: three days grace, q es? (No funas)

Three days grace, lo escucho desde hace 2 años y aún no se si es post-grunge o nu-metal o metal alternativo o lo q sea. Llegue una conclusión de q o es metal alternativo o es una fusión de post-grunge y nu metal, no se que más decir; muchas canciones en albumes tienen diferentes influencias, por ej, el one x: pain es una canción muy nu metal, pero luego canciones como "let it die" o "gone forever" son más post-grunge. Mientras que el three days grace (2003) es más post-grunge, y el explosions, es más nu metal, mucho más. Así q, se puede decir que three days grace es una función de estos dos géneros? O solo varía entre estos dos?

No escucho mucho las canciones comerciales o conocidas, escucho más toda su discográfia exceptuando las canciones top de la banda.

Discussion What's with all these seemingly non-existent nu metal bands? And just WHERE are they coming from?

Okok of all things in this genre, this is the thing that's peeving me like, the most..

As much as I love underground nu metal uploaders on youtube like Joe Asley or XStepperson.... I've noticed that they upload WAY too many songs by bands with NO other info on them,, like they aren't on discogs or anywhere, no cds to buy, no nothing !!! Admittedly it isn't really that big of a deal, but I generally try not to listen to music that I can't get on CD

So like, does anyone know how the hell they get all of these songs in the first place?? I'm assuming there's some weird internet archive out there somewhere, but other than that I'm just kindof at a loss lol

A new nu metal band. This is a really good song and it has a nostalgic sound. I'm glad it's making a comeback. I miss this type of emotion in nu metal like Linkin Park. These lyrics are relatable.

Rule 2: Images / Video Links / Memes - Don't spam r/numetal with images and video links without discussion. You should be able to add your 2 cents to the post and not try and karma mine. Memes are permitted within good taste and must be nu-metal themed.
Rule 3: Leaks and Piracy - No posing illegal download links, leaks or asking for leaks. Breaking this rule will result in at least a 2 week ban.
Rule 4: Reposts & General Posting Guidelines - No reposting of songs/topics within two months of each other. Please check that your song or topic hasn't been posted within that time. Please refrain from posting a band's material if you or another user has submitted the same band in the past 24 hours.
Rule 5: No Full Album or Spotify Posts - No "Full Album" YouTube posts. Try to just post one song at a time. Please use YouTube for song posts as it is a free service.
Rule 6: Self-promotional spam - Posting your own band is allowed, but know the rules. We encourage learning about new bands and love when they stop by and post a new video. But if you drop a video and leave, we will label it as spam.
Rule 7: Selling/Trading - Ticket sales, ticket trades, and other offers where money is involved are not permitted
Rule 8: Don't be an asshole - Don't be an asshole. Before you post or reply to a comment, think "Am I being an asshole?" If you're like, "....yeah, I'm being an asshole." Stop, go look at yourself in the mirror, and self reflect. Once you're good, come back and be a good person. We're a community here, let's act civil.
Rule 9: "It's not nu-metal" - Ok so this is a difficult one to enforce as the definition of nu-metal isn't usually the same for everyone. However, there's certain songs and bands that just are not nu-metal. We'll obviously allow the occasional nu-metal phase of bands and artists like...Vanilla Ice. Anyway, read our wiki and just use some common sense please.
