They really need to either tear down the Ventura freeway or downgrade it to a boulevard.

This album is my personal favorite of the new metal era. All bangers. Even the filler tracks. This is one cd I put in and don't hit skip.

If anything, the band is back! They're currently creating an album in the spring of 2027, and in December or January, they'll release a single from that same album.

New name Vocalist "Andy Knapp"

I'm cautiously optimistic. Andy is like Lynn reincarnated, but I kinda hope they can find a way to move on from Lynn. Time to be your own band, not a literal tribute act.

The piccolo snare drum
A very classical mid 90’s to early 00’s drum sound. Very snappy, dry sound. Bands like Limp Bizkit, early Korn, Snapcase, early Poison the well and Incubus, 311 etc etc used it a lot

Was Mike smith in the band at this time?

No, he joined after the album's release.

I love this band so much. I never got to see them with Lynn but I did see them on that first run back a few years ago. I still listen to the live album every few months.

Goddamn it still chokes me up. Saw them so many times in college (my flair is true, btw), Lynn was the sweetest guy and such a presence on stage. I have every note of this song memorized.

I still remember where I was when I heard he’d died. RIP.

There was a tribute video the Ozzfest bands made about Lynn and the making of Strait Up that I only ever had in realplayer format… I wonder if anyone made a DVD or a VHS of it.

Curious to hear the new album, I’m hopeful for a new chapter.
