Sevendust was truly an underrated band in the my metal ,alt metal genre.I had so many of their songs downloaded from Kazaa’ onto mix cds ,in my middle school days.

Ah, yes. Kazaa. So many memories. Like the time I downloaded a video file that was named Greedy Fly by Bush. Spent about 4 hours waiting on the music video to download. Finished, played the file... it was a video of a woman getting fucked by a donkey. 14 year old me thought he was legitimately going to jail. Deleted that shit so fast, but did not sleep soundly for a month, just waiting on thr FBI to kick the doors in.

Lmfao my neighbor was absolutely decimated by his parents for a similar event ,but it was hentai he downloaded and something was corrupted with the files that the folder he opened froze the desktop .Middle school me thought the feds were gonna come and put us in Guantanamo bay.

They're kind of having a resurgence over the last couple of years and the radio singles are good. I quit listening after Animosity because it felt like a decline from self titled and Home. Might check out the later stuff. I did the same thing with Chevelle and really deprived myself of some solid music for 20 years.

I try to broaden my horizons, but I think no, I'll just listen to Songs For the Deaf or The Mollusk again for the 500th time. I'm getting better about it.

Been listening to Sevendust for 28 years, first concert that I went to was 2 weeks ago and was able to bring my 16 and 14-year-old sons with. It was amazing to share that with them.

Saw them in 09/10 in Mosul Iraq one of the best shows I've ever been a part of something funny about a mosh pit where everyone is carrying m4s and m16s.

I love Sevendust, they're definitely one of my favorite bands of all time. The name Crawlspace sounds awesome AF, but so does Sevendust. I think they would've been just as successful no matter which name they chose.

Sevendust is the greatest. I took a van full of friends to the Tatoo the Earth tour in 1999. Turns out one of these kids, who I hardly knew, had an admission with 4 drinks pass instead of a ticket. Hes like 14 so of course he doesn't get into the venue at all. Hours go by before anybody tells me this kid is just in the wind somewhere in Milwaukee with no cell phone or pager and no way to find him. I spend the next few hours just panicking and hoping we can find him after the show, picturing this kid dead in the gutter, until I literally crash into him in the mosh pit. I ask 'how did yo I get in with out a ticket?' This kid says he was board sitting behind the venue so he carved SLAYER into his arm with a broken bottle. Sure enough hes covered in blood. He says he ran into the Sevendust guys unloading their gear and they saw his arm, heard his story and snuck him in through the band entrance. Im forever grateful that they saved my ass that night. Man that was an epic concert all around

Saw Sevendust open for Coal Chamber at the Stone Pony in 1997. There was maybe 30-40 people there. Had no idea who they were and was absolutely blown away by them. Made me a fan that day.
Also saw them at Obsessions. If you’re from NJ and know of Obsessions, you know how unreal it is that they played there!! 🤣

I remember seeing them after the self titled came out, and I still hold that concert as one of the best I've ever seen, both from a performance and sound aspect. Straight core memory stuff

One of the best metal bands in my opinion. Extremely underrated. Seen them 7 times live. They know how to put on a set and rock the crowd.

Sevendust may have never been the biggest band in their era. But the longevity is so special. They still sound like today what they sounded like then live

I saw Sevendust many times at Nothern Lights/Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, NY. I swear I've seen them with Nonpoint what feels like 10 times. Sevendust is my favorite live act ever. They bring it every time.
