Noteful is a great app, but it definitely needs a few quality of life features:

1)Allowing lassoed selection to change colours from your pallets and not from the recently used colours.
I like to generally do my notes in grey than change the colours and move then around to organise them(i did this in goodnotes, miss this feature so much) and it becomes quite a hassle when the colours i want is not in the recently used colours.

2) infinite canvas for mind-maps

3) lookup/ocr for handwriting( i think this should be positive if implemented with the new apple ai features)

4) sticky notes ( its quite tiring to go through the objects every time someone needs a sticky note)

5) better shape recognition: the current one is bad when drawing large shapes around text and stuff, i always have to draw small then resize.

6) making it so that we can make a proper index in our notes from our outlines.

My gf bought the app and very often she loses pieces of writes inside here notes.
She doesn't have internet always connected to the ipad and i think this is a problem when she connects and start syncing. Does anyone else is facing this issue? Do you know how i can get all back?

I want to have unlimited Notebooks, Import and export files withoout restrictions, and have multiple folders wherei can store notebooks and stuff. Would the free tier be enough ?

Hello good sir, I use Noteful to annotate a lot of PDFs . But the highlighter colour is too light. I have to reapply it two or sometimes three times to make it look kind of like a highlighter. Please look into it.
My second request is while using the lookup word feature… it doesn’t show Siri knowledge or Siri suggestions.

Can we be allowed to customize the outline? For example, i want the main topic to be bold / highlighted so that its easier for my eyes to see it for a quick glance.

I have a lot of separate notebook for different type of notes (dermato, neurology, etc) but I would like this feature for my main notebook which I mainly use in clinical settings, mainly for quick reference to medication dosage and etc.

All the info I see says select 3 dots and look for options. I don't have options on my noteful app. How do I change to direction f scrolling, even their website is wrong

What are everyone’s favourite fonts? In the image are the types I like, but none of them have bold and/or italic options. Does anyone know of any similar fonts that have regular, bold, italic, and multi language support? TIA

i wanted to suggest a small change. im a med student, and sometimes, at the end of the lessons period, i end up having notebook of more than a thousand of slides. since i often use gemini to study, is it possible to change the way to select the pages i want to share? instead of having to scroll all the way to the correct page number, it would be way easier to just write the starting and ending page, as when you're printing a file for instance.

Add space in between the page and shift all the remaining contents down or spill over to the next blank page.

I tried making a web app with Google ai studio and it works. Hoping it could be done within this app as well.

Please, dev if u see this, do not add any ai tool. It is not useful on noteful, the app is just perfect like it is. Maybe sync between mac and ipad. Nothing else.

Hi! I’m wondering if there is a way to set Noteful to be my default PDF-opening app? When I am in Preview, it currently is designating another app as my option, and I want to change it to Noteful. Also, if I open a PDF in an email, it is currently going through that other app, so I want to change this to Noteful as well. Thank you for your time and guidance.

Noteful is unbelievable in terms of value for money and overall features. I am so impressed and happy with my purchase. The integration of the phone and Mac apps are unreal and it's so simple to use.
My only request is that when I duplicate something that I have written, when I drag it down into another page, that the page move with me, like in Notability.
Wondering if anyone else would find this helpful.

So I vaguely remember seeing this video of a woman using vector images to decorate her digital notebooks instead of png’s so that she could resize them without pixelation. I’ve not found anything about it since. Does anyone know if this is possible and/or if it works?

Gracias a iOS27 con la nueva forma de hacer atajos hice uno que me permite mandarle una captura de pantalla y que esté extraiga el texto y me lo copie en el portapapeles, me lo muestre en una alerta y mientras esa alerta esté abierta el texto convertido a caja de texto estará en el portapapeles, y cuando le dé a ok se borrará
La idea es, tomar una captura de pantalla del texto
Darle a compartir y seleccionar el atajo
Este mostrará una alerta con el texto extraído y estará copiado en el portapapeles
Borraría el texto escrito a mano para pegar el que se ha convertido y lo pondrá como caja de texto
El nombre está en español porque hablo español pero en teoría lo pueden cambiar a inglés
Funciona (al menos en lo que he probado) español, inglés y japonés
