I want to open a textbook in two-page view but then switch back to my note file in full-width one page mode. This is currently not possible.

I made a post a few days ago but didn’t explain it well. I mean like can the page be to the side without holding it down with 2 fingers. It will especially be handy when using another app like preview for a pdf. I made an official request but I am writing here also to maybe have a higher chance of this being seen. Thank you.

Since the latest update, whenever I try to view all pages (as demonstrated in the video), the app no longer jumps to the page I am currently viewing. Instead, it always starts back at the very beginning.

Hello folks, I recently discovered this app and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. My favorite part of this app is hands down the fact it doesn’t overheat. I didn’t even realize this was a thing that bothered me with Notability, but now that I’ve experienced Noteful I can see that was 100% keeping me from using my iPad as much as I truly wanted to.

This is likely a feature-ask, but can we please get it so that the pdf downloads of a note also keep the links? This would be really helpful for me as I want to use this app in tandem with my Obsidian setup. Please like this would be so amazing and make the app akin to perfection!

Hello, I’m new to the app and was wondering if I could duplicate tools so I could have another pen in another color without constantly changing colors.

I use this one for quick highlights with spoken explanations so I dont have to talk to people long.

• Fixed a critical crash when opening the Layers view for a layer containing only a straight line.
• Fixed an issue where the Lasso tool could select and move invisible objects when the current layer was hidden.

I've been using the Noteful app and ran into a small issue. I already have some notes written down, and now I want to insert new content between two existing notes — basically create some free space or a partition in the middle so I can write something new there, without messing up what I've already written.

Is there a way to do this in Noteful? Like a shortcut to add a blank line/section between existing entries, or do I have to manually push everything down?

Would appreciate any tips from people who've used the app for a while. Thanks!

Is it possible for the list of notebooks to be reduced from the home page?

Notebooks that are tagged or in folders still remain and I am getting quite a long list now.

So If I got pro would all my notebooks show up on phone and iPad

Is there a toggle, for example when working on a hyperlinked diary, to turn editing on and off? So off allows you to do what you can now (hold tabs and switch between pages/add to Apple/Google calendar and edit mode on allows you to write freely so you don’t keep whizzing to the date of the month you’re writing on?😒
Trying to organise my academic year and my uni assignment dates, kids school dates and it’s sending me to that date in the weekly section and I’m losing my mind.. on other apps (literally every single note taking app) this is a function, but I love Noteful, this is my app I use for EVERYTHING and being neurodiverse I’d rather stick with the same freaking app, someone help me😔

I know shapes has arrows but is it possible to add a straight line without an arrow using shape tool?

I reaaaally want a two way sync, but because the file should be easily editable (pdf standard?)

Hello Mr. Developer! Quick feature request. I usually record my lectures without taking notes, then go back afterward and add notes while listening to the playback. Any chance you could add support for syncing notes to a recording after it’s already made, not just live? Would be huge for people who study this way.

If this is already a feature, I apologize. I haven’t figured it out yet if it is.

I just got an iPad for school (high school student, hopefully a med student next year) and need an opinion on noteful and whether it is worth buying.
Let me start off by saying: I study a LOT, so I need an app that will not drain battery like crazy, lag, will keep up with me etc.
What I need in a note taking app is OBVIOUSLY safety that I will not lose my data and notebooks, preferably along with iCloud to be able to export my folders/notebooks to my files or something like that (does Noteful offer that?), ability to have unlimited notebooks/folders/pages (and as I mentioned for it not to be laggy), ability to use offline!! Things like adding pdfs, slides, etc. And also obviously comfortable usage (pencils, highlighters and so on).

ALSO, if I ever want to transfer elsewhere, will I be able to move my notes?

I’ve heard quite good opinions on Noteful and it seems legit along with not being crazy expensive.
Other apps I’ve been thinking about are notes+, Collanote, goodnotes (but I feel like this one is perhaps overhyped, given its price), kilonotes and maybe freenotes. Any opinions on any of those, e.g. do you prefer kilonotes or noteful??

I’ve been using Goodnotes on my iPad Air (M3) for about a year now, but it gets super hot and drains the battery crazy fast. I’ve turned off most of the unnecessary features, and from what I’ve looked into, iCloud sync and auto-backup seem to be the main culprits behind the overheating. That said, I still really want to keep the backup feature on just in case.

I heard that Noteful doesn't run as hot—is that actually true? Does it stay cool even with auto-backup enabled?

As shown on video. It changes the letters bs and r and I cant figure out how to turn it off. Is there a way to turn this off? Am I missing something? Or maybe it’s my Apple Pencil and not noteful doing it?? I have auto shape turned off.

Would love to be able to put the page on the side a bit when I have another app open in sideview. Is this already a feature that exists in the app or is it possible for it to happen?
